We ran into this pizza place while looking for another location. Surprisingly, it was pretty spacious for a New York pizza joint. The music was really loud so we could barely hear the employees taking our order. We went with the garlic rolls, barbecue chicken pizza slice and Brooklyn slice. The barbecue chicken was really good but I thought the Brooklyn slice could have been better.

We ended up getting the truffle, which tasted bland probably due to being overcooked and the vodka pep square, which was delicious, but the caramelized cheese on the crust for square slices was burnt and left a char taste. With pizza being a commodity on the area, we were hoping for something a little fresher tasting (or at least less burnt), but may try again due to creativity of slices. Service was quick at least and there was enough seating and standing counter space inside to enjoy the slice on prem.

I'm actually extremely bummed because this has been my after work pizza spot since they opened, but there are new people working on Friday nights and the people they've put on clearly do not care about their jobs or the business. I walked in at 3:30 am (they close at 5) and the entire pizza case was empty where it used to be full. The pizza looked super old. I ordered two margherita slices to go because they looked a little fresher than the rest of the stuff on display. The woman working said sorry you're going to have to wait our pos is restarting. I asked if paying cash would make a difference and she said no (which makes no sense) so I left. As I'm getting my sandwich across the street I'm watching her spraying windex all over the pizza in the case trying to clean it lmao. I was truly in shock but I assumed it was all going in the garbage. To my horror I watched her serve one of the windex soaked slices to a customer. I'm not kidding, if you own this place, please watch the cameras from March 27th (Saturday early morning but technically Friday night) to see what I'm talking about. I'll be getting my pizza from Jonny's up the block from now on (sadly) read more

I am visiting from california to visit my grandparents. I am staying at a hotel down the road from this pizza place and I have had this pizza place probably like 4 times already it is so good , I am a little picky so I don't try a lot of new stuff so I kept it with my same order the margherita pizza slice. But the food is what really blew me away. I got the Korean Wild Green Tea First Picked, and it was unreal. Yes, it had that beautiful green tea character, but it was so much more layered than that--smooth, complex, almost naturally sweet, and honestly one of the most memorable teas I've had anywhere. I also ordered the iced matcha latte, and it was easily the best matcha latte I've ever had: no grittiness at all, just incredibly smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We also had the baby dumplings in spicy sauce, popcorn shrimp, fried Manchurian cauliflower, spicy kimchi pancakes, Peking duck baos, and the duck rice bowl. Every single dish was excellent. I'm still baffled by how well they nailed the shrimp texture--seriously impressive. The flavors across the board were rich, creative, and satisfying without feeling heavy. We both ordered flat whites, and they were delicious, honestly some of the best coffee I've had in NYC. My wife ordered the Break' Bowl, and I ordered the Classic. The food was excellent and very generous in portion size. Our server was also very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.
