Our Dog Maxie was poisoned by a Flea Bath we did not give consent to. Our dog is currently under I.V. And has not eating solid food for 3 days. Blood is coming out of her rectum and she has thrown up 20 times in one day. She is mostly unresponsive when we try to talk to her. They will kill your dog, I seriously don't recommend. Edit: they're trying to change the story. They said they given her a flea bath because they saw a "Flea on her". Now they trying to say they used Dawn Soap. Then why charge us an extra $5 for a said Flea Bath? $50 for the groom, $5 for a "Flea Bath" that was changed to Dawn. read more

I have been taking my kids (aka dogs) here for about 10 years now. They have always been so kind to my little family members. Many times I have walked in when they were working on dogs and unaware of my presence. I was so very happy to witness that they are kind & calm with other people's dogs too. Courteous and professional. i've had my dog groomed and also just a wash and I'm always happy with the results.

We've taken our two small dogs to Pampered Pooch for grooming for the last several years. We are always greeted right away, and they are always very courteous. They listen carefully to exactly what you want, and try to satisfy the customers. My dogs both seem to enjoy their grooming there. Any time I call, they will work with me to schedule the grooming at a time that is convenient to me. Their being open on Saturdays until noon helps for those of us that work during the week. The prices are reasonable, and they do a great job. I highly recommend Pampered Pooch! read more

My dog had not been walking on her right paw the entire weekend. I made an appointment with the Vet. They said her nails were so long that one of them was crossing over another one and her thumb nail was starting to curl under. They ended up cutting off half of her nails on each paw. I come to groomer about every 6 weeks. I pay them $50 every time. I had to pay the vet $85 to do what the groomer should have already been doing. I called pampered pooch and explained the situation the groomer got on the phone and told me they haven't cut her nails in awhile because she goes crazy when they do. She said when they do her face she tries to attack the groomer. I have a 5lb maltipoo who has a very calm nature. The Vet had no issues cutting her nails. The groomer back home always said how good our dog had been during her grooming sessions. She said they had informed me of this. I proceeded to tell her they have never once told me of any of this. I'm concerned because if she did act like this(which I truly don't believe) then how are y'all treating her for her to feel that threatened to act like that. Our dog Stitch loves getting bathed and groomed at The Pamperd Pooch he gets excited every time we go. They do an excellent job and he loves them so why go anywhere else. If it were possible to give a business less than 1 star, The Pampered Pooch would certainly be deserving. My poor dog was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, and we aren't sure how much longer we will have him. My entire family has been very upset about this, since he has been our only pet for the last 11 years. To lift all of our spirits, including his, we decided to go get him trimmed and made the ignorant, awful decision to go to The Pampered Pooch. After paying up front and dropping him off for service, he was returned looking like an oversized, ugly squirrel. The customer service approach was to assure us that "many dogs around here look like this." Well, Pampered Pooch employees, you must have your species wrong because the only animals qualified to wear this look climb trees and eat acorns and nuts. Michael's entire demeanor has been affected by this tragic haircut, he doesn't want to be social with other animals or stay outside much. He is an Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix with naturally beautiful moderate length black hair. We are all very embarrassed about the way he looks, and the Pampered Pooch should be embarrassed to even remain open after doing this to an innocent victim. The only way I can make any possible sense of this treacherous atrocity is in honor of Veteran's Day tomorrow, but I do not know a single service member who even orders a high and tight this close to the scalp. It's the home of the free, land of the brave, not the land of the bald. AWFUL service, AWFUL haircut, AWFUL establishment. 1/10, only given a 1 because they did not puncture the poor guy in the process. Would NOT recommend. **Update- changed from one star to two for the follow-up care since my family was offered a refund for the service, and they reached out to explain what had happened the next day. read more

i was in baton rouge visiting a friend and we were headed to new orleans for the night. we checked the dog here for overnight boarding. when we got there the dog wagged its tail turned around as if to say bye and went and played with the other dogs in the back rooms. we weren't at all concerned with the dog while we were away and when we picked him up he had been groomed and smelled like a million bucks! i don't remember how much this all cost but i think it was cheap! i'm going to see if there is something like this when i get home for my dog! peace of mind is worth every penny! read more
