I would like to express my appreciation to Tanya for all that she continues to do for the tenants at the Paseo in Goodyear. Her dedication and effort towards working with the tenants and doing the projects she is assigned to do for the tenants. She is very different from other Office Manager's. When I have gone to the office, she has such a positive and calming presence waiting to see how she can do her very best to help you. I moved to the Goodyear location in 2008. I moved in 2021 and 2022. I moved back to the Goodyear location in 2023. Your company let me move back into the Apartments, I appreciate that very much. They recently had the towing service, Kwik Tow Towing, to illegally tow my vehicle out of their parking lot. I had just parked it for the night, gone into my apartment, had the doors all locked, alarm was set. Someone managed to bypass the locks likely with a slim jim, disabled the alarm simply by pressing the unlock button to open all the doors, removed my parking space tag from the rear view mirror, took photos from the outside of the vehicle after closing the doors to cover their butts just to get my vehicle towed through a shady method and extort money out of me at the impound yard. This is criminal behavior and after seeing multiple reviews across other sites about this very issue with this apartment complex and the tow service company, the responses from the management team i have read from the very same woman, Tanya, that spoke with me about the matter. At first she seemed like she was going to be willing to work with me getting my vehicle back without cost to myself but then decided to back pedal, double down and sided with the tow service. It's obvious the only way to curtail their criminal activity is to take them into court and sue them for damages. I doubt they'll learn the lesson even then however. People like that have zero compassion, especially considering they pulled this bullshit just a week before christmas. They're in a festive spirit alright, to rob people blind. The 1 star is there simply because the maintenance team is awesome. I wish they ran the place. read more

These apartments are so loud. They have no control over the tenants. The tenants are very loud all hours of the day. On top of that, Luke produces a large amount of the noise. Don't get me wrong. Im actually station out of Luke and love the sounds of the F35s. But every single jet that takes off, that sound echos throughout the entire complex. Again, every single one starting early mornings and into the evenings. Upon move out, be prepared to pay rent for the actual day of your move out (between $40-$60). Personally I moved out of my lease two months early because I couldn't take the loud sounds. Staff wouldn't allow me to break the lease early. Which I totally get as I signed a contract. Therefore, I left my apartment vacant for two months. We I got my final/move out bill, I was billed for water and gas. When I tried to reason with the staff that I wasn't living there, they told me I had to pay a share. They take the average bill of all the tenants, and bill me the those amounts. They wouldn't budge. Wouldn't work with me. As a result, they took my cleaning deposit to pay that. I had a remainder of $124. I decided I would just pay and put this hell hole behind me. When they emailed me the links to pay, they wouldn't work. I communicated several times with the front office and their billing service, they would resend payment links that would never work. I couldn't pay in person due to COVID. So, two weeks go by and I get a bill from a collections company. If I were you, stay away from this place. Just a headache all around. read more

This place is annoying as hell. My boyfriend and I live with two other roommates in a THREE bedroom apt... THREE of us 4 have a car... they give you ONE parking pass. My boyfriend and I get home after 12:30 AM. There is NEVER any parking on the left side (where I live) so I have to park in ten buck two all the way on the complete opposite side of the complex. On Saturday April 3rd, I got home from work and saw a open parking spot in the middle-back of the complex. The next morning (Easter Sunday) I went out and found my car missing - it had been towed due to a Karen who decided to call a tow company. Now I know parking in undercover isn't allowed but but they should give at least two passes for people who live in a 3 bedroom. The people who live under me have I believe 4 older women, they also have ONE parking pass WTF!!! I get towed for having my car in a covered space for 11 hours BUT here's the worst part. A car sat in a UNCOVERED parking spot for SIX MONTHS AND NEVER MOVED!!!! Until one day, it got towed. Had expired tags since 2019 and a orange warning sticker on the back of the windshield for months and wasn't towed til last week. This parking situation has been like this since I moved in March of 2020 and continues to get worse every single day. I can't park in uncovered when people with the parking pass are parking in places like uncovered WHERE IM SUPPOSED TO BE!!! read more

I gave a 5 star review of the Paseo on Google after my first month of living here, and now it's been a year and I can honestly say my experience has been excellent throughout. Everyone in the leasing office is super friendly and easy to deal with. They made moving in a breeze and were always helpful with any questions/requests I had afterwards. The shared facilities - the gym, two pools (with hot tubs), mail area - are always pristine. They just installed brand new gas grills to use @ the pools. There's a locker system for receiving packages which is awesome. Easy to use and keeps everything safe. My apartment itself was spotless upon move-in, and I love it! I'm moving out of state for a job, but otherwise I'd just keep renewing my lease here indefinitely. The washer and dryer that came with the unit always work perfectly. Ditto for the kitchen appliances. Walk-in closet is HUGE. Really cool built-in shelves in the bedroom for displaying pictures, plants, etc. I think that's a really cool/unique feature compared to a lot of other apartments around here. My balcony is small, but still perfect for two chairs and a table and sitting outside for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night, taking in the AZ sunsets. The ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom help negate cooling costs in the summer. My electric bill has never been outrageous. I've never had an issue with parking, always able to grab spot close to my apartment. No break-ins or anything like that since I've been here, even when I've been traveling and left my car unattended for a week plus. It's a safe complex and you really don't experience any crazy noise or mischief in general. Good location, you're within 5 min of Fry's, Safeway, Walgreens, Starbucks, nail salons, restaurants, anything you could really need. Easy access to the 10 and 303. I highly recommend the Paseo for anyone looking to move to Goodyear area. read more

The manager Tanya is rude condescending and in the end when you make a legitimate complaints then she gives you a non-renewal notice after three years of being a great resident paying my bill every month on time and having to put up now with drugs drug activity loud residents fighting beating each other up having to call the police. Poorly-maintained property dog poop everywhere bird poop everywhere no attention to detail they tell this is luxury. Maybe at one time but now it's just a bunch of run-down beat up carpet. I have reported to the office so many times about 2 vehicles this man has that don't have a parking pass but his 3rd does and the 2 that dont he always parks them under the covered spaces when he shouldn't cause it's not aloud. The manager Tanya refuses to do anything and I've called the towing company my self and they said that I have to report it to the office in order for them to come out and do something but clearly the office doesn't care. I come home from work at midnight and there's never any spots open for me because this man parks where I should be parking. OVER ALL THE MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO CHANGE SHE CLEARLY DOESNT CARE ABOUT WHAT ANYONE HAS TO SAY. She's very rude when you speak with her even if you have the nicest tone. This is one of the worst places I've live in. They fix up the outside, when they need to fix up the apartment in the inside. Also when you go month to month the jack up the prices. Every 3-months they ad on a extra $100 to your rent, just to get you to sign a lease that's crazy. The water bill the divide it by the 4 apartments. So if it's just you and no kids well you are going to get screwed. Usually people in the other 3 apartments have kids or there apartment is larger, so you wind of paying high water bills. It was just me and I was careful about how much water I used well it didn't Mayer my bill was always $69-70 every month. The garage is always over flowing and if you live by it it stinks. People throw the trash on the ground and everywhere except the garbage can. People don't clean up their dog poop, so watch out for that. That front office has a high turn over rate. The ladies put on a act like they care, but they really don't. The inside of the apartments aren't that great, the carpet is raggedy needs to be toss in the garbage, but the keep reusing it. The cabins are raggedly dirty, they just paint it and slap some tack paper in the draws, where at the while it starts showing stains coming from under it. Some of the apartments have a bad order to them. If I were you I would run away from the Paseo, I wish I had!!!!!!! read more

My husband and I lived here for just over a year. We started in a one bedroom apartment. Of course when we toured the models, they were impeccable; perfectly painted and taken care of. We were taken back to the office and shown a layout of the entire complex with the open units indicated. We chose the layout we liked and picked between the different location options. We weren't given the option to actually tour the unit we would actually move in to. When we did move a few weeks later, we were quite disappointed. It wasn't explained to us that certain bells and whistles that were in the model weren't in the unit we chose. Built-ins that we thought we standard were only in some units and the appliance weren't the same quality. Awhile into our lease, we got pregnant and asked to transfer our lease into a two bedroom. This time we made sure we got every bell and whistle that we would be paying for even if they weren't included in the unit. The real reason that this is only getting a two star rating is the NOISE and management's total lack of care. Getting a full night's sleep was rare and when we would call and complain, management would claim to 'take care of it' yet the same raging music would continue without pause. Needless to say, as an exhausted, hormonal pregnant lady, I was steaming mad. I went to talk to management face to face and they said simply that there was nothing they could do and that 'kids would be kids.' Turns out that most of the units in our building were being rented by newly HS-graduated kids whose parents had signed the lease. There were sometimes up to 8 people living in a 3 bedroom apartment - something that we were told was prohibited. Once our son was born and he was continually awakened in the middle of the night, we decided to say screw the lease and moved out. The only reason I'm not giving it one star is because the facility itself was really nice and pet-friendly. The pools were well-kept and the fitness center had good-quality equipment and was kept clean. They also had a business center with free internet access for residents that came in handy since I didn't want to pay for DSL or cable at the time. The price was pretty high however. When we did eventually move out, we got a 1900+ square foot house for the price of our two bedroom apartment. read more

My review goes like this; First year fine pretty much quiet and clean as promised so didn't mind the $$$ amount. Second year not so good. Trash, dirty walk areas, handrails, common areas, spider webs, dog poop. Areas around dumpsters dirty from liquids or spilled food. I have a neighbor that plays music with loud bass at all hours for hours from Sunday-Saturday sometimes after 11pm and before 8am.. I've told management twice. I wanted to break my lease without penalty but no mention of that came up when receiving mgmt call back stating the problem was resolved. So I'm living on top of a music studio. Bass rhythm up and down loud and louder all day when I'm home. I sit above this unable to hear my own tv. Crazy that my privacy is constantly interrupted..rude! What happened to the association rules? My contract specifies rules and actions for those who violate them. Don't say it if you don't do it. Oh well leaving in a couple months and guessing this must be common for apartment living nowadays. Parking has always been first come. So staying out after 8 pm may cause you the inconvenience of parking on the other side of the property, walking the distance with groceries etc.. read more

When I originally moved in, my family loved this place. The floor plans are spacious and inviting and beautiful. However they recently got new management and had I known I would have never renewed. Tanya is now holding SOME apartments accountable for patio violations and not others. I placed a bamboo shade on my balcony because I have a two month old and it gets rather hot in the room. The shade worked perfect and the residency could still see on my patio. However I got a notification saying I needed to remove my shade while others are still violating the balcony "rules". A higher up stated I could keep it up as long as they see the bottom of the patio. (I'm on the top floor). Tanya states that her higher ups are incorrect and that I need to remove mine immediately while others can leave their violations up. Her messages are rude, unprofessional, and contradicting to higher ups word. I'm very disappointed in the new management and mad I renewed these apartments. I would NOT recommend. read more

I moved in here last year and really love the location. The staff is very nice and helpful. On the negative side there are tons of Scorpions! We are just into spring and we have already seen six in our apartment. Something needs to be done about this. Also there are no rules for the pool and people are screaming all hours of the night. I do have to say though the grounds are kept impeccable! UPDATE: This place has new management and it has gone downhill considerably. Our neighbors all around us are dirty and leave trash out next to their door. The pool has no curfew or rules and there are parties till 1 o'clock in the morning. I have been living at this location for the past year now, and my lease term is coming up soon. I would HATE to leave at all, they have been so helpful and understanding when things around me got a little tough. My son was born here, and it has just always felt safe, and very family oriented here, I love the pool areas and the little gym they have to get my post baby body back in tip top shape! I am definitely signing into a new lease with them, maintenance has been wonderful, and overall the staff is amazing. Especially Danielle! She was pregnant right around the same time I was when I moved in, and it has been such a pleasure working with her over the past year. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for peace and quiet, friendly neighbors, and an overall great staff. I moved here recently and am thoroughly enjoying it. The complex and grounds are lovely and kept up impecably. The apartment is beautiful and they have included touches that make it above the ordinary. The pool and gym are really nice and I have enjoyed using the BBQ (that has always worked). The staff is great and have always been available and respond very quickly to requests and work orders. My dog also enjoys having nice clean sidewalks and grassy areas for walking and poop bags and disposal cans are readily available. I am glad I made this choice and actually feel like I am in a resort setting, look forward to many years here! read more

We live here right now. Its a good place to live if you stay in your apartment. With the staff you never know what to expect sometimes they are wonderful and other times they are horrific. The pool is disgusting, they seriously never clean the tile where the water doesn't touch there is a half inch of grime on there been there since I started living there. Also they never clean the workout room today there was live mold growing in one of the cup holders and the whole place just smells. . . It was making me anxious just being in there. The place is nice to look at but there is more to meet the eye!! Management is a mess.. Uncaring and you never know what you get from day to day. I was a past tenet and was evicted due to the fact that I was late on my rent due to my high insurance deductible. I had to have a life or death procedure. I explained this to Veronica the manager that walks all night on patrol!! I produced the funds the day the constable arrived and was told to get out now!!! I was blamed for dog mess... It was never my dog,,, Many cats and building 3000. I will say beware not of just this property but all management company owned properties.. They only care about $$$. Management of this property pick and chose what items of their lease agreement they want to uphold. If it involves charging tenants more money, they will enforce something; however if it doesn't monitarily benefit them, forget about it. On the south side of the complex, you have to fight for a covered parking space. The lease agreement states one COVERED parking space per unit, but is not enforced. There are multiple violations of dog breed restrictions, satellite dishes hung from areas NOT authorized in the lease agreement, and people storing stuff on their balconies. Compare the common area outside the models to those of the residents and you'll see a big differece. The stairwells are dirty and dusty and the bushes/landscaping are . They claim there are bbq's throughout the grounds, however, there were several times I'd have my meal prepared to grill and could not find a working grill. The pools were kept fairly clean, but the decking, chairs and tables were rarely, if ever, cleaned. If you get an apartment by either of the pools, be prepared for alot of noise and late into the night. The only recourse you will have is the local police department. The gym is decent and basically well-maintained. Overall the complex is decent, but definitely overpriced. You could get so much more in a larger house with a garage for the same price or less. read more

Whole complex went to paperless payment and now charges $30-$46 to pay with debit card or you can use money gram which is a $3.99 charge and you have to go to a Walmart or CVS to pay via electronic money order. Police are constantly at the complex every weekend due to some sort of domestic dispute. The security gates are always broken and the remotes to use them rarely ever work. Many nights people wander up and down the covered parking and look inside the cars, my neighbor called the police and had them arrested. The leasing office is rarely ever staffed, and when they are the staff are rude (update: they hired new management and the aforementioned staff no longer work there). Mail system is horrid and they only use Parcel Pending which you are charged an initial fee to use. The maintenance personnel have no idea what they are doing and the appliances are subpar. The doors and cabinet doors are hung uneven and my husband and I found water damage next to the tub that they covered up with some spackle and paint (it ended up moldy and the only way we found it was when we started wheezing and were forced to find the source). Upon further inspection they did not use correct materials (greenboard) around the tub/shower when building, they used regular drywall. The windows are drafty as well. I could really go on, but I won't... The only reason my husband and I are staying one more year is because moving is too taxing and expensive to live elsewhere. If you are looking for a great place to live that has great square footage and wonderful living arrangements- don't move here.... Move to The Wyngate at Sycamore Farms I wish I would have never left. read more

My boyfriends car was broken in to with $500 worth of damage and my car was stolen and recovered with over $7000 of damage. They claimed they have parking lot security which I've never seen. They don't even have parking lot cameras. Half the fences don't even lock into this "gated apartment." They pick and choose whose car they tag for not following the parking lot guidelines. They lied about the price completely. I even asked if there was hidden fees and they said it was all covered in my rent ($1369) and charge us around $1500/mo. (Not including my electricity) You get one pool pass per apartment and that only covers two guests. The picnic area advertised is also untrue unless they live here. The outlets in that area don't work. My whole building got a warning for two cigarette butts outside. The only kid friendly amenity (splash pad) doesn't even work. I could go on but this review box is limited. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I have lived at Paseo Apts. for over a year now. The entire staff is very professional and there customer service should be and example for many to follow. They respond very quick to maintence calls, now that is a 5 Star act. I cannot say enough about the office staff just meeting new residents I have had them to tell me how much they LOVE VERONICA!! I'm currently living here at the moment and I have to say that the management is very bad. Although they offer all of these amenities for tenants the business center created to assist us in being able to use the internet and have a printer the computers are never working and when you ask what's wrong with them they say oh the storm messed them up but their computers in their offices are just fine. The printer prints very light so you can barely see what you've printed. The maintenance people are weird and obviously stalk clients because I got a dog on a Monday and that Wednesday the office called and said you need to come pay for having a pet when my dog never barked once so I know they didn't find out through a complaint. The apartments are nice at a glance but I can tell there's a lot of stuff covered up with nice paint and ikea like designing materials. Lastly the office is always closed! read more

We have been here for a year and I'll have to agree with the previous reviews. The overall landscaping is nice the pools are usually clean and maintenance people and the Monday bug guy are great! Alex in the office is sincere, helpful and friendly. I don't know what happened to Kathy but this new guy Aaron must be related to Veronica because they are both ass holes! They care more about the new people they are scamming into renting here then the people in line to drop off their rent and pick up packages. They say they'll be right with you yet still allow you to wait for 20-30 minutes. If I were the people checking this place out it would be important to me to know they care about me after I sign the lease too. We are by one of the pools and there are certainly times it's loud. The neighbor above us are always up and always loud!! Your lucky if the grills and the hot tubs are working. We will be moving soon and purchased a house and will be paying less for more than what we have now. Our apartment was not up to par and barely cleaned before we moved in. Good bye Paseo. SO OVER THIS PLACE!! TONS OF SCORPIONS! The exterminator will tell you they have 40+ scorpions a night but yet the front office and corporate will tell you that you're the only ONE with the issue! It's crap! You talk to neighbors and people all over the complex who all have the same issue as we do with the scorpions!!! The front office people have no idea how to run this complex and I have to constantly call cooperate directly to get ANYTHING taken care of. Not only do we have a whole jar full of scorpions, my daughter got bit in the foot and we went to the emergency room because she was having seizures!!!! I'm furious!!!!!! And hate this place!!!! Cannot wait to leave this place! Half the things here are done so half-assed and broken! We pay WAY too much to be living in a place where the grills don't even work! The gates are always broken! I am a current resident of the property. I have been here 6 months now. the models make you feel like you found the perfect place! But , beware, it is all a illusion! Work orders are slow to be filled, and then not done properly and , it usually takes a third trip to get it done correctly. The staff does not enforce rules or violations. I have the neighbors from hell. I had made several complaints, useless! I have had to call the police to get noise enforcement enforce. There are several things in units that need to be updated. I had plumbing problems in all the sinks, dishwasher flooded out my apartment the first week I moved in. The toilet is cracked and leaks. They put a patch on it, still leaks. There is definitely plumbing problems that need to updated, in several units. Certain office staff has serious attitude problems. The give you the impression that when you put in a work order it's a favor to you, nothing else. Or don't place the work order at all. They cleaned up the water that leaked in my bathroom with rolls of my toilet paper, and left the mess for me to clean up after wards. Very hard to communicate with the maintenance staff. That is why the order is never completed, they don't understand. No sense complaining to the office because they won't do anything about it or believe you. The residents upstairs child runs and jumps so hard that my ceiling fan shakes, and pictures have fallen off my walls. They said they would relocate me but I would have to pay all expenses and higher rent. My neighbor is staff so the noise complaints don't matter. the paint is cheap and peeling outside my door corridor. The apartment walls are not insulated so you here everything, I mean everything! The rent is overpriced for the quality of the apartment. I love the location, but will be moving as soon as my lease is up. If you so still fall for the illusions of the complex, keep everything documented because in the long it will be you that pay for damages. I took photos of everything broke upon move in, so that I don't get stuck paying some frivolous charges. Residents speed thru this complex, without yielding. Keep your children close. They do not enforce any rules with the dogs or noise complaints. I asked to be let out of my lease without a penalty because I am so unhappy. I was told yes, and now there is new management and was told no. I am counting down the months so I can get out of this place. Renting a house is cheaper compare to this place. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE MODELS. These "luxury" apartment complex is over priced for their cheap appliances and everything In the apartment itself. I had problems with my kitchen sink, dryer, bathroom tub, and since they never fix it right the first time I had to keep putting in work orders which take up to 4 days for them to fix the issue. You have to keep calling them and the staff are so rude. They act so nice when they are showing you around and getting you to sign the lease and once you sign everything they don't care. The grills never work, at one point all 6 grills were not working and they blame it on the renters. Another issue that they have is since the apartment complex is small the water bill comes out to $75-80, but it's not because the water; it's usually the sewer which is a set price for all the renters and the sewer itself is $45. When we asked about the water bill they said it will be around $40-50 they lied just to get us to lease in these poor quality apartments. I was so upset when we moved here, because the apartment was not near on how nice the model was. read more
