Some material might be more expensive than Home Crapo or Crowe's but I never enjoy being there, you can never find an employee who can help with knowledge, and last time one of those places sold me a riding mower alleging it could handle my land. False. Now I spent $9k on a real one. See what happens when businesses hire smart, educated, knowledgeable employees? I hope they pay well and benefit these workeds

I voiced my dissatisfaction with the quality of their services and stated that I would have just gone to Home Depot if I wanted my order to be wrong causing 2 return trips to the store. I let the employee on duty know who originally sold the product so that he could let his manager know. He was not concerned and then told me that that person had been promoted. (I laughed). And stated that they had lost a future customer and was then told to leave his store and never come back. Don't worry kid when it comes time to start the house roof I will most certainly find another supplier. Cary (the owner) came in with the first of several estimates. Of the contractors I contacted, he best understood what I wanted. My house had rotting window frames, uneven bad-looking shake shingle siding that was long past the day I should have done something about it. A house down the street had the look I wanted, and Cary quoted me the price. I also asked about replacing my front and side doors. The siding color I wanted was a special order, so I had to wait a couple weeks for it to be made. It was well worth the wait. Lifetime supplied a brand called "Perfection" and it is truly perfect siding. The siding sections lock together in a way that I don't think even a hurricane would loosen them. All the rotted wood was replaced with Azek trim. The result is my 70-year-old run-down house now looks like a new build. The doors that leaked cold air during the winter are gone. I am very satisfied.

They came out and gave me an estimate where a competitor wanted to come out and do the work but wouldn't give me a ball park number first. Others didn't respond. The weather caused the appointment to be pushed multiple times (snow and high speed winds which is what caused the damage in the first place), but the work is done and the gutter appears very secure now. Pricing seemed reasonable for the time and materials used. They were friendly and open to various payment options. The estimate came slightly under the quote, (rounding distance so very slight) which is always nice. Notes: I know it's hard being a contractor and taking calls while working, but more prompt notifications about appointments being moved would be nice. Communication wasn't timely but I had the sense that there wasn't a home office fielding work, so I'm certainly more understanding. Hard to be timely when you're dangling from roofs trying to get work down before the next storm wave. They were certainly better than some other contractors I recently worked with.

They also installed wallpaper on the outer walls in the foyer. There was one glitch which was not their fault. When they opened the box of Shoemaker wallpaper they found the wallpaper to be defected. I felt terrible as they could have carried on about what they were going to do next, as all their ladders, tools, etc were already in the house. They didn't complain, just reloaded their truck and moved on to another job and returned to the job when the new wallpaper arrived. In addition, the paper is sisal AND it is patterned, and they had it cut it around a 4 X 6 foot window, with just a small amount of t of leftover paper! If you took the time to read all of this review - well good for you. I would definitely have them return for my next project

Josh was knowledgeable and pleasant. He was also the only one to point out to me the 2 layers of siding on my home (there was old wood shake under the existing vinyl). I liked everything about the way he did business, so I went with them. The roofing was done in 1 day and the team of 13 guys he had was efficient clean and very pleasant. A Lead showed up for the delivery of the roofing to make sure it was properly placed to protect my driveway. The team that came to do the siding was just as good. They all seemed very happy to be at their jobs and just did a fantastic job. I had all the windows and doors rewrapped and had all new gutters. My wife and I couldn't be happier.

Don't go to this place. They're incompetent and insulting. We had a contract to paint my house and…read moreremove shiplap from the kitchen and replace it with drywall. When time came to remove the shiplap they tried to pull a fast one and suggest using putty and tap to go over the gaps in the shiplap then sand and paint to "look" like a normal wall. I wasn't aware but that wouldn't work. Shiplap is wood paneling so the paint would just crack since the wood contracts and expands. So they attempted the same incorrect fix and when I kept cracking they tried to say it's something to do with it being a load barring wall or the previous owner don't let me know there was an issue. This was insulting as they either were lying or they were ignorant about shiplap. I knew the family there is nothing wrong with the wall. They were unprofessional to work with and the painting for poorly done
