I had to leave for an emergency and am stuck in the parking lot because they let people park behind me and blocknme in. I have been trying to leave for a half an hour and can't do anything.

I have avoided attending concerts here because the traffic mess is legendary. But Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, I'm in. We had a premium parking pass and that really helped speed the entry and shorten the walk from the parking lot. There are lines for everything, buying tee shirts, bathroom, and food and drinks. To their credit, they had a small army of staff, but lines were still long. If you bring a water bottle, you have to empty it at the gate, but if you keep the bottle, you can refill it for free on the inside. The seats were comfortable, and there was ample leg room. Seats were more desirable if you could sit under the roof, otherwise you baked in the sun until the sun went down. The sound wasn't very good for one band, but for Willie Nelson, it was spectacular.

This place is a complete dumpster fire. 18 year olds run the show and are seemingly difficult on purpose. Traffic is HORRENDOUS. I absolutely hate seeing shows here, especially lately because they way oversell the lawn. I only go if it's one of my absolute favorite artists. I would rather travel to another state than go to starlake.

Food is fair but pricy. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The venue has great acoustics and usually well kept grounds and restrooms. VIP parking is so much easier and convenient. Entering and exciting can be a bit trying but overall I have a great experience.

Went to see Tyler Childers and had a blast! The venue is well maintained and sound quality was excellent. I read horror stories about getting in and out of the venue, but honestly, it was normal concert traffic. Pack your patience when arriving and leaving. Food and drinks were pricey as expected but good size portions.

Drove four hours to go see Noah Kahan as this was the closest show. I truly had so much fun and had a great experience! We got there two hours before doors opened so that way we weren't rushing around to get into the venue & weren't screwed when it came to parking, as we had lawn seats. We also got extremely lucky to get end spots, so leaving was a breeze. We were out of there in 45 minutes! Overall, I think having another entrance/exit would highly benefit the venue, but sound is great and you can rent two chairs for the lawn for $30, which personally I think is a great deal. Star lake is one of those venues that if I planned on going to a concert here, it better be someone I really want to see and be the closest option. As it is quite a drive and next time I would get VIP parking as I know not a lot of people were as lucky as I was & idk if I would have that type of luck again

I attended the Noah Kahn concert on 05/29/24. If I could leave a lower review, I would. The parking for the venue is horrid since most parking is in a vast open field with no organization. When leaving the concert, there was only one exit and no one to direct traffic towards the back of the field, which led to a ginormous traffic jam. I was stuck in traffic for over an hour and a half and was NOWHERE near the exit. I understand that concerts will have traffic jams, but there needs to be a better system to prevent such things from happening.

our bartender Jamie was phenomenal! she was so personable & kind, 10/10 we would literally die for her

Oh Star Lake, how I have a love/hate for you. Attended Dead and Co. The show and the staff, all very wonderful and a 10/10. The frustration I have is with the parking, entrance, and exit. If you have not been, this venue has one way in and one way out. You either park in the top lot (where we parked due to an alternate route via Google maps due to traffic) or drive up towards and past the venue to more parking. The direction you come from often determines which lot you're directed towards. I believe premium parking was $70 on site. With the one way in/ out, expect to wait on the road to get to the lots as well as another wait on foot to get into the venue once you make your way to the gate. We unfortunately couldn't head to the venue early as I worked until 5, so the show had started before we got through the gate. When leaving, it took 30 minutes of sitting in our car before we were able to get out of the upper lot at the end of the show. Bring a cooler with snacks and Gatorade for after the show to help the time pass and to refuel for the ride home. Lines inside are long as well - for merch, food, bathrooms, drinks - you name it. Highly advise if you want merch - to get in line as soon as you can to avoid the lines. You can bring an empty water container in and they have self-serve refill stations - bring your Nalgene. Also it's helpful that they have a sizable clear bag policy or size of hand bag policy, that is pretty standard of late. Go see the shows. Embrace your inner zen while waiting in all the lines.

Nickel back concert!!! Great seats. Great night for a concert. Lots of great food and ice cold beer. What more can you ask for?

We had a great time here for the #deadandcompany!!! Parking was easy, tons of bathrooms. We loved the smaller size venue. We will be back

Ask the Community - The Pavilion at Star Lake

    VIP access worth it?

Yes . No lines to the bathrooms.. Fast wait for drinks if at all .. lots of seating

Can you wear steel toe boots?

    Seriously???

Hey I'm from out of town and will be attending the Alice in Chains show at the Keybank Pavilion. I was planning on Uber or Lyft as my ride to and from the airport hotel. But now my googling of the topic makes that sound crazy...What's your thoughts?

Personally I wouldn't just because traffic is a nightmare out there, you will be walking a long way after getting dropped off and pickup will be a nightmare. I've only ever driven and parked, VIP or premier parking is your best bet, but even regular…

What exactly is the "Upstairs Lounge"? Is it worth the upgrade fee? I am wondering if you can see the show from there, as it is 100% chance of rain tonight and we have lawn seats.

If you're referring to the stairway to heaven type lounge that you have to go up a bunch of stairs and pay a fee to hang out at the bar and they have private bathrooms there?? Then yes I agree 100% that you should pay the extra fee because if it…

Does anyone know what the different levels of parking are and how much? We have a party bus and are looking into paying for parking ahead of time but aren’t sure what to get.

Although they will sell you preferred parking they won't guarantee you a space (oversell frequently). Getting there 2-3 hours before a show might help. Overall horrible staff so good luck.

Is the venue mobile ticket capable?

    Yes

What is the last row in section 6 and 7 that is under the pavilion?

    Row X I believe
