Ice cream flavors

This is one of the best burgers o have had in a while! I was surprised how good it was! Also military gets 50% off so dont forget to ask! I came here with some friends and we walked up and placed our order right away. The inside had a very simple but inviting vibe with a self serve soft drink station. You place the order then grab a seat and theh bring the food out to you. I ordered the ODB burger and a side of cheese fries with ranch. The burger was so juice and very well seasoned with bacon that was a little too crispy for my taste.. but my friend's burger had bacon that was cooked perfectly and not crispy so we switched bacon straps lol. The sauce on the burger was really nice and the pickled jalapeños really complimented all the flavors nicely. The fries were cooked perfectly also with a satisfying crunch on the outside and pillowy soft in the inside. The ranch was just okay. Not a house made ranch, just a bit sour but still good. The cheese was also a nice touch but it ended up getting cold fast so dipping fries in it was a little challenging. They also serve ice cream here! My friend got a smores ice cream with pumpkin ice cream in it and the marshmallow qas perfectly toasted! It was beautiful! Ranch score: 6/10 Over all the service was good, the food was freshly made and absolutely excellent and the price is well worth the amount of food you get! I will definitely be back!

Looking for a good, seasoned smashed burger with good crispy edges? Looking for fresh cut fries cooked perfectly? Looking for a delicious milkshake to go with it? This is the spot!! The customer service was perfect! Shelby was an amazing person who had great ideas for good milkshakes. The only thing that I didn't like, and it's only because I'm not big on it, but the burgers were a little greasy... BUT THEY WERE SOOOOO GOOD...!!

The mad scientist/evil genius who came up with the menu at The Peanut Gallery knows a thing or two about umami. I mean, just reading the menu and imagining the burgers/sandwiches paints a pretty satisfying image, but then when you taste it...mwah! (Chef's kiss) I tackled the Shaolin Burger -- 2 patties, cheddar, carmelized onions, mushrooms, black garlic aioli -- TBH this burger was pretty intimidating -- very large and I was afraid to put the two halves together because I didn't think I could pick it up. So I used a knife and fork ( classy!) The beef patties were well-seasoned, had a good flavor but was a little greasy. The carmelized onions, mushrooms and black garlic aioli was very tasty -- I could have eaten a bowl of that. The fries are a very generous portion, although they were too crisp. The Shaolin burger was masterful at defeating my hunger pangs. It was pricey--my burger, fries and drink was $24. I would come back to try the ODB burger or Seoul fries. The ice cream/ shakes sound very tempting as well.

My first visit was memorable. I really enjoyed their ODB Specialty Burger. Only issue was the burger is so hot the styrofoam melts onto the burger. Had great flavor. Busy place, they have one table out back for Al Fresco dining. Had to finish with a scoop of CAPPUCCINO BREAK from Chocolate Shop Ice Cream. Very friendly staff offering samples of ice cream and a cup for water.

I'd really say this place is a 3.5 star experience. It's a small shop but they have a bit more seating, as well as some arcade games, downstairs. I love the rap inspired burger names, bonus points for that. I had the iron flag burger, Seoul fries, and the keays to happiness shake. I'm embracing my burger snob arc and this burger was just okay for me. The toppings were well executed but the thinner gridded patties just aren't my preference. I found the flavor of this particular burger to be a little bland, on a return visit I think I'd just build my own burger. I WOULD come back for the fries and shake. The fries were great, both the fries themselves and the toppings. I also liked that the kimchi and sauce weren't just on top but layered into the fries so I never had a dry fry. The shake was a great finish. I don't know anything about zanzibar chocolate but it was very tasty. The workers were nice enough, while this seems like a counter style place they do bring you your food so there is some service. I would say I recommend this spot, the burger wasn't amazing for me but It was far from bad.

Omg! Best burger in north shore. I didn't know you could make a double thin patty 'smash burger style' burger so amazing! Crisp yet moist. I just did blue cheese and burger! Simple! Hubby's ODB is amazing in its own way with the egg yolk and jalapeños. The fries was nicely salted and is an excellent vehicle for me to soak up whatever yolk, cheese and stuff mixture leaked out from his burger! Lol

I wish I lived closer!! Working in Lake Forest for a couple of days and wanted a burger. This is an amazing hidden gem. Menu is way above and beyond a normal burger spot (see pics). I had the dirty bird, and she was duuuuuuurty!! Messy, and surprising, and complicated, and so forking good. (See what I did there ) Fries were perfection. Small seating area inside, small seating area outside in the back, but the treasure is in the basement !! Prices are incredibly reasonable, considering the location. Milkshakes and ice cream seem to be kind of a specialty too. Definitely definitely going back!!

The food is amazing! Best burgers I have ever had. The ice cream and milkshakes are also delish. The service is nice and you order at the register. The ambiance is amazing with a casual feel.

So good. Literally the best burgers in the world. And their ice cream and milkshakes are to die for, especially Zanzibar chocolate. Staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. This will always be my favorite burger joint

We've driven by this restaurant SO many times and have yet to come by until now. What a fun…read moreexperience we had! When you pull up to the plaza you would think anything of the restaurant but when you go inside it's a fun colorful experience. When we were seated we were brought waters and menus. We took some time to look at the menus but ultimately took our server's suggestions on drinks. I ended up having a virgin Rose Colored Glasses drink and absolutely loved it. The drinks were large and I felt they were worth the price. My husband got an old fashioned. To start we got the cheese curds, and when I tell you these cheese curds still live rent free in my mind I kid you not. They were so good, the cheese was battered in a tempura batter with a truffle cream sauce and it made for such an incredible dish! For our entrees we got the pork chop with the brown butter sauces and bavette with a red wine reduction. The pork chop was great with the brown butter you just gotta make sure you mix it up, and the red wine was a bit too salty for me but it was okay because I ended up loving the steak by itself! For our sides we got the grilled zucchini under the snacks option instead of the sides option because I wanted all the fixings. It was a great choice! The fixings really made and I could eat a plate of that and just be happy (with the cheese curds of course). The wiped potatoes were great as well. Now I was going to pass on dessert because I was SO full already, but twist my arm when you tell me the cookie dough ice cream is a must try. It had real cookie dough chunks on top and bottle and the vanilla ice cream was not boring vanilla, I ate almost half of that bowl and couldn't stop. The chocolate chip cookie dough was house made and it was the perfect blend of sweet and salty that tied the whole ice cream bowl together. Can't recommend that enough as well. All in all, we had a great experience! It was so fun to see so many regulars and so many new folks who came in to dine at the same time as us and we all peeked to see who ordered what before we ordered and got some great recs as you can see! Can't wait to come back to enjoy my favorites and more!

So the first time we were here it was amazing but this time it was subpar at best. Don't know if…read morethey have a new chef or what but the food was not good. Started with the bread and crabcakes and the bread was amazing and definitely fresh but the crabcakes needed more crab and flavor. Basically everything needed more flavor. We also ordered a bottle of wine which our server struggled with and never came over to refill the glasses. Then the entree's; my husband's bolognese was bland and desperately needed at least salt and pepper. Then the real problem was my steak which was supposed to be medium came out well done and then classically when it was recooked came out rare or medium rare if you are being generous. Then the waitress said she would check back and she didn't so I had to get salt myself from the server station which is kinda ridiculous especially when paying $54 for a steak that already has no seasoning which is why they offer free sauces which makes a lot of sense now. When she finally did come back I said it was under but not waiting for it to be overcooked again so reheating it at home with the cold side of mushrooms I ordered WITH my steak. I did talk to the manager after and he was not really helpful or sympathetic and I was really talking to him so in my review I could say well at least management cares but that is not the case here. I gave 2 stars because their drinks are good and the ambiance is nice and the hostess was super friendly and was the star employee after our visit. Also we paid for everything even the cold mushrooms and over/under cooked steak! At minimum also remake my mushrooms or comp them. Would I eat here again hopefully not but it is locationally desirable for me and my in-laws and have lots of GF options so might have to and if I do hopefully they will have made things better.

It wasn't so much a speakeasy because it was not hidden, but that didn't really matter to us once we were there . The food was Asian themed and they had different drinks than the other restaurant next-door . I thought the focal point would be a bar in the middle of the restaurant, but there was never any bar that I could locate so that was also confusing. The food was really good. We had black garlic, deviled eggs, some tuna tartare and a lamb Ragu that was really good. So if you're looking for speakeasy, this is not really a speakeasy, but it has really good Asian food so just an FYI when browsing the Internet. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I was expecting one thing when I walked in and I got another, but we were pleasantly surprised with the food and drinks that we received so we will be back.

It's a smallish place with lots of street parking nearby. It was a cold night when we were there. We thought we would have eight-to-ten people in our group, but ended up with seven people. They don't take reservations, but if you call an hour before you arrive with your largish party, they will hold a table for you. And they did. When you walk in the front door, you immediately walk to the right for the bar or dining room seating to the left. They set our table up across from the door. Every time someone went in our out, we had a cold blast of air hit us and that was a bit unnerving. You just couldn't get warm. There was a wall behind us, but apparently another dining section on the other side, we should have sat there, it would have been more comfortable. Our party was debating about getting an appetizer as we saw someone else get the wings which were big and juicy looking. They couldn't make up their mind, so I got their soup of the day: cream of chicken soup. It was pretty good and much needed on a cold nice, but it was just okay and I can pass on it next time. The soup was warm, almost room temperature, so they'll have to heat it up next time. I ended up getting their 8oz Lantern burger. They have a junior option at 6oz and a Tiffany at 10oz. The middle was fine. I got it medium rare with American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and mustard and a side of tots. They have a lot of options and the server recommended the tots. They were good, but no better than anywhere else. The burger was juicy and good, but the meat is not seasoned. Though if it is, I couldn't taste it. However, the bun held up really well despite how juicy the burger was and the burger was cooked to perfection. Others in our party thought the burgers were just okay. Over all, we had an average score of 4.00/5.00. The burgers were good, but I bet there are better items on the menu which boasts the best burgers in town. Not sure about that, but decent enough.

The lights above the table were not lit. Phone flashlights were needed to see the menu (old folks). Time was 5:30pm. Unsure why, but we had the bartender as our server (Fred). He was lights out! Food. I had the skirt steak. It was ok. The amount of salsa accoutrement was too much, it was the only thing on the plate and matched the length of the steak. The salsa alongside the steak you could tell was not fresh, it had a dull grayish look to it, with no fresh vibrance to it. The potatoes on the side were ok, probably more suited alongside the steak. Overall I'd say, if the middle of the Shepards Pie was cold that tells me it's not fresh made to order, and the not so fresh salsa, they just need to tighten up. I think it's very close to a top notch restaurant in a sought after neighborhood.

We were quickly seated with a reservation and the tables were lovely - gorgeous wedgewood china (even for the kids!). Greeted with prosecco for adults and sparkling juice for the kids. Service was really friendly and helpful with tea selections. There are about 4 options for children if they want tea as well. Food was good and there was a tower for the kids (their the older child at our table wanted the adult sandwiches...). Plenty of sandwiches and sweets. The scone actually was the standout though - orange cranberry - very soft and delicious. Customary lemon curd, jelly and cream - delicious. All in all, this was a nice, fancy time for tea but there were some negatives namely: no one ever asked if we wanted more drinks (I would have had a glass of champagne but no one returned or asked - I could have flagged someone down but was surprised at this level of hotel that service wasn't so helpful). We also felt rushed - I would have stayed longer to enjoy but get they were cleaning up our table quickly. Instead, we brought some of the treats to go. While the staff was friendly, they weren't really there a lot - I saw some tables get asked if they wanted more sandwiches - but we did not... and it wasn't because we had kids at the table because I'd say at the time we went, more than 50% of the tables had kids with them. We did get a nice little to go gift of tea, chocolate and a tea strainer. I'm conflicted upon returning just due to feeling rushed....
