We stopped by for a quick lunch, and discovered that the pecking room doesn't exist anymore! Too bad, as the patio and view looked amazing.

The menu is varied, but not too overcrowded, making choosing simple, yet still catering for various tastes and palettes. Some items are limited, such as the Burnt Ends, due to the time it takes to smoke and cook. If they're available I would highly recommend getting. So tender and flavourful. There's a good selection of craft beers, as well as a few non-alcoholic options to drink. We were seated pretty quickly, and service was fast, friendly and attentive. We never felt an urge to be rushed. Although I suspect in peak season this place will be extremely busy and crowded, so would strongly suggest making a reservation before showing up.

Parking is available in the gravel lot next to the building. I must say they did a freaking amazing job on the building. The inside can easily pass for a museum or movie set. I had to ask the staff. The building is actually brand new. No, it's not an old coverted barn. The venue has nice high ceilings, and has a mezzanine and outdoor patio. Staff are friendly and chatty. Beer selection is pretty decent. Mostly ales. Flights come with a cup of beer nuts, which is nice. They have a full on BBQ selection here. I didn't try, but the food looked and smelled pretty awesome. Looks like I have to come back at some point. Worth a trip out, even if only to see the interior. Recommended.

FOOD: Im no Korean, but the food here was amazing and legit. It did take half an hour to make the dish as we sat patiently for it but it was worth it. Definitely felt like a mom and pop restaurant because they were both in the kitchen supporting one another.

We came here for lunch during the Covid times (on December 31, 2020). I called beforehand to make sure that they are open. The owner picked up the phone and asked me what time I will be showing up. I told him that I will head there now. He then proceeded and asked me how many people and my name. No he didn't take down my phone number so I am guessing he probably wrote it down on a piece of paper. But regardless, we were the only people dining inside. The reason why the owner asked for our name was so that he could set up 2 tables. A high-top and regular dining table. We got the option to pick which table we wanted to sit at. We ordered two dishes to share. We got the Galibi BBQ ($24) and the Grilled Pork Belly ($19) to share. The Galibi BBQ came with rice and a small dish of sides. The Grilled Pork Belly came with lettuce, dipping sauce, rice and a small dish of sides. The food was very delicious but not wow. I found the portion size a bit small and also their prices are much more higher than their competitors in Kelowna. For example their Kimbap is $10 for a roll and their competitor charges $7.95 for a roll. This goes with every item on the menu. On top, their sides are not free refills like many other Korean restaurants. Note that they are not located downtown too. So most of their customers are local / neighboring residence in the area. We came during Covid times. So note that this places charges for tap water. On top, they will only roll the food out in a cart and you will have to serve yourself. This is a family ran business. The restaurant is not big. The husband of this restaurant is the waiter and cashier. The wife of this restaurant is the chef. So in the entire restaurant there are only two people working. There are free parking out in the front. Is this restaurant worth coming to try, you ask me? Well it is nothing special and also with the prices it charges, I wouldn't make a special trip here. The food is authentic. Was I full after the meal. The answer was not really. If this restaurant was in Vancouver, I would give it 3 stars. Note that this place doesn't have the Korean Grill BBQ available. The food that they serve are all cooked in their kitchen.

We loved the decor and Blues music playing softly in the background. Started with some of their delicious cocktails before enjoying a bottle of reasonably priced wine with dinner. Ordered the Elvis Platter and Seafood Medley which was plentiful for the 6 of us - our party consisted of 3 men with large appetites and they made a great attempt to finish the platter but we still ended up taking a fair bit of meat and potato salad home. All agreed was a great way to sample everything! Everyone enjoyed it and everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was excellent, very accommodating adding another table so we had lots of room for the larger platter. We definitely will be going back!

This is your place if you enjoy sweeping vineyard views, authentic delights from the smoker, great salads, astonishing wines and uber friendly service! Everything on the menu is fabulous but the ribs are phenomenal (and I'm from Texas where we know a thing or two about ribs!) and the Bison Burger is unbelievably messy but delicious! Everything is smoked over 'retired grape vines' and the flavours are amazing! The staff is amazing both in the wine shop and restaurant. Liz and David (the tallest chef in the valley) are super helpful and welcoming! Of course it is a winery! And while all their wines are super I find their leading seller 'Autumn Gold' to be the perfect match for the BBQ. Although if it's ever available again the Red Horizon Meritage style blend is also dynamite! Smoke and Oak is seasonal and closes for 2020 on October 11 so don't delay! Otherwise you're waiting until next April!
