I have found that the set meals to have gotten a lot better which is great I do tend to get the carvery which has always been lovely and tasty The drinks are great and service and staff are as well They do monthly quizzes which is great however I hope someone else is doing them now as before I felt the quiz master wasn't he's best and didn't do really themed quizzes read more

Decent pub not far from the Britannia Stadium. All the staff were welcoming....order food at the bar and get a decent discount if your staying at the nearby Holiday Inn. Recommend the chicken and gammon pie & chips. read more

This pub has a nice atmosphere... Located just enough out of the way that it's close to the shops but away from traffic and distracting noise. The food is reasonably priced and a real treat to eat on my most recent visit my fiancée had a carvery sandwich that she couldn't stop raving about and I had a chicken melt sandwich that was beautiful my only criticism I would have loved the option of bacon....... Very well placed for a decent and reasonably priced meal, whether you are passing by on the A50 or living and shopping locally.
