And Brandon Shoe Repairs also do as they say, and fix shoes, and they do it well. I've taken two pairs of my boyfriend's shoes in there to be mended, one made of suede and the other of leather. Not only were they resoled but they also had the leather repaired in areas. Each job was carefully finished and the shoes came back looking as good as new. Even the price was low, especially when compared to the price of a new pair. Parking on Ipswich Road can be haphazard at times, but the street to the side is nearly always empty so there's plenty of room. Brandon Shoe Repairs is well worth a visit if you have shoes in need of repair, or if you just want to savour the smell of leather and shoe shine.

The staff at The Good Guys in Lutwyche are very nice. Kim in particular is very kind and helpful. She helped us out when we were shopping their last time and was able to do a good deal for us. First of all the place is very spacious and doesn't feel cramped or that everything is on top of everything else like so many of these opportunity spots. I loved that there seemed to be a great range of furniture and a lot of it in very good nick. You could easily fit out your whole kitchen for a very reasnable sum if you were a student setting up house. An excellent rack of books for adults and kids and the clothes are well organised and tidy. Definitely worth a vist.

I've only had them for around 8 months and don't wear them every day, yet the sole has already developed a large horizontal crack (around 10cm long). It's quite significant, and it honestly feels like it's only a matter of time before the entire sole rips off. For the price, I expected them to last much longer, so unfortunately I don't feel the quality matches the cost.
