The Permaculture Bookshop is the real world home of The Green Shopping Catalogue (http://www.green-shopping.co.uk/ ) and open to visitors during the week.
It's well worth a visit if you're in to environmental issues and sustainability - there are books here that are very hard to get hold of elsewhere, and even though you can order them via mail order from the catalogue, you really can't beat browsing the shelves to find hidden gems.
You might also be able to pick up autographed copies - Permanent Publications who run the bookshop also publish green books, and hold stocks of copies signed by the authors.
The main draw is the books, but you can also get hold of the tools and other items the catalogue sells - everything you need to live a more sustainable life. Just don't expect a huge place - the bookshop is tiny, part of the Permanent Publications office. But it's a very friendly place, so don't be afraid to drop by!
The home of the bookshop is the Sustainability Centre - itself open to visitors, so once you're done shopping have a wander around the woodland. read more
