I put it off simply because I didn't know what to do and I basically felt paralyzed. Long story short, I made an appointment for a consultation, figuring I couldn't qualify but maybe they could recommend another option. The attorney Janine, completely put our fears to rest. We qualified despite the issues that I thought would disqualify us. It wasn't a stress free process by any means but the attorney and the paralegals guided us every step of the way and helped us understand what to expect each step of the process. My only additional advice would be, to do the steps as quick as you can. There's lots of info they need and the longer it takes you to get it all gathered, the longer it drags out.
