The owner greeted us in a very friendly manner, and continued to provide excellent service throughout the evening. The choice of dishes was extensive, and every thing we ordered was beautifully prepared, and very good value for money. The only negative was that the list of deserts included only one Italian dish (tiramisu), but that too was one of the best I have ever tasted. Intending diners should be aware that main course prices include only potatoes; vegetables or salad have to be ordered as a side dish. We had previously been here for the cheap lunchtime specials; this was our first evening meal. It certainly wont be our last.

The only negative is that despite the opening hours being dispalyed on the entrance, they do not always open to those hours. A case in point being last Saturday (20 Nov). The shop had two staff in it and looked open. I tried to go in but the door was locked and one of the the staff members indicated to me that they were closed. I actually chose to come here, but ended up going to nearby Linford's. If they keep this up, a lot of people will vote with their feet.
