Apartment hunting in New Jersey as expected has been arduous and time consuming. We frequently…read moreencountered units that required us to compromise between critical amenities and ideal neighborhood environments. The 210 was previously a prime contender on our list but considering the limited availability and lapse of direct communication at the time.We sought home elsewhere. Fast forward to August, we received a call from a Mr. Sean Harper. He explained that the building would be under new management and after scouring through the mangled leads that were left behind. Mr. Harper thought it'd only be right to reach out to us and offer the best availability and services he and his team could provide. I am delighted to say that Mr. Harper came through on all his efforts and within 3 weeks we are happily nested in our new 2-bedroom apt. With all of the amenities in the heart of a booming city. The level of execution of Sean's team and commitment to his residents allows us to rest easy that any concerns/request; will be handle with the utmost attention and timeliness.

Don't waste your time trying to rent an apartment here…read more They gladly took our $100 application fee, but after that, communication completely stopped. We never received an update, and my calls went unanswered. For comparison: * At Walcott in Hackensack, we received our approval in less than 24 hours. * The dog screening process uses the same system as other apartment communities and should only take about 24 hours. * We even showed up to the leasing office at 11:00 a.m., and there wasn't a single person at the front desk. The customer service here is terrible. A lack of communication and professionalism made this a frustrating experience from start to finish. Save yourself the time, money, and stress--I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

The office manager Lea has addressed any issues me…read moreand my husband have ever had regarding the apartment, cannot complain, we have called the super Sokol on several occasions to fix things in the apartment and he has literally been there within 30 minutes. He's awesome and super friendly! Even during bad weather, the building is always taken care of with the snow being removed before I even get in my garage and leave to work.

DO NOT RENT AT ANY CJ LOMBARDO PROPERTY! THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER!…read more Now that I have that out of my system... I lived at King Alfred Apartments in Passaic, NJ for 2 years. I was the ideal tenant. Never late on rent payments, never loud, had no neighbors complain about me, etc. Then when it came time for me to move to Brooklyn, NY for another job, I gave CJ Lombardo written notice almost 3 months in advance of my move. Then when I received my returned security deposit check, about a month after my move, I was shocked to see that they charged me a $110 cleaning-up fee and they also deducted one half-month's rent because, they claimed, I didn't give them 60 days written notice. I called and complained but the lady on the other end just ignored everything I had to say, responding with, "if I had a nickel for every time some one told me that". Are you kidding me? How often do you rob people like this? Don't be enticed by the affordability of their apartments. When it comes time for you to end your lease they will rob you with these outlandish fees that you can't complain about because they will not listen nor do they care. And that lady I spoke with, she has no manners or respect for other human beings, it seems like. If you're poor you may not have other options but if you're a young professional working at St. Joseph's hospital in nearby Patterson, there are much better options that may be a little more expensive but the RESPECT is worth it.

Had an overall good experience 1-Maintainece staff is nice…read moreand courteous. Front lobby night doorman keeps changing, I can't keep up with who's who. 2-The building lobby and public area are ok, but not as luxury as they appear. Units are definitelg huge and patios are nice. 3-Noisy apt. Noise from street cars, ambulances, buses and trucks, gardeners, and from jets and airplanes. I hate it and had to move out. With the door close, it is bearable.

We rented a two bedroom renovated penthouse in January 20 21…read more 2 weeks after Audi started building announced that all three Elevators would be replaced over 9 month period. The replacement took over the year, they were times with no elevators and we had to walk up and down from the 18th floor. There were times we had to go into an elevator on memorial day weekend plan and other holidays) with people moving their furniture in and out of the building. The building had a faulty fire alarm system they were nights where the fire alarms went off multiple times discontinued for many months until the building replaced the fire one system. The building shares a swimming pool with 160 Prospect Ave. a swimming pool is part of the online advertising , the swimming pool has never been open. There were multiple other complaints, which I will not enumerate. Suffice it to say we are thrilled to have moved out of 140 and have put this nightmare behind us. Anybody looking at the building should inspect and ask questions. The building may be better at this point in time than we experienced; however, we should have been told about the elevator replacement and multiple other issues. The other other issues included rain and snow coming through the doors and windows.
