Instead of Christmas presents we as a family decided that experiences are better than stuff. So since it was my husbands first time at the pink Chandelier, this is where it's happening. Their wonderful Christmas tea. It's only on the weekends, so two days after Christmas was the plan. My husband was impressed. Not only with the tea selection, but the food. We were here celebrating a birthday and a graduation. Our server was exceptionally lovely and friendly. Checked in on us multiple times and explained all the courses. The tea and scone were my personal favorites... we love a lemon curd over here. The soup was warm, like many have mentioned it's definitely not hot. The sandwiches were fine. My niece loved the chicken salad. The ham pinwheel thing was not a crowd pleaser at our table. The cereal pieces in the chocolate sweet treat became chewy and had a weird texture. I took my little girls for their 5th birthday. It was such a fun experience. We ordered the Queen's Tea with kid options for the girls. This came with our own tea. The girls chose to have hot chocolate instead of tea however they had none caffeine options that were recommended if they wanted to try tea. Next we had sparkling apple cider and momma had a mimosa. Tea was then delivered with hot buttery scones accompanied with a Devonshire Cream, lemon curd and strawberry jam. So delicious! Mom was given a hot cup of tomato bisque and an English pea salad. Then the main event arrived, a three tiered tray with delicious sandwiches, ham and cheese (girls choice but was offered several kid friendly sandwiches like PBJ's, Turkey and Cheese), curry chicken sandwich, cucumber and a eggs salad Tea sandwiches was delivered with adult section. Second tier had watermelon, grapes, oranges, goat cheese petit fores, quiches, sausage rolls. The third tier was completed with lavender cookies, lemon cakes and fruit tarts. Let me say there was a ton of food. Although my girls were not as well trained for a proper tea party they had an absolute blast. There is something about having your own tea pot with fancy tea glasses and lots of silverware that just makes things fun. They especially loved the cubed sugar on the table for the their tea. I literally only went in, because it smells so good walking by. All the fragrances from the candles and soaps and stuff was wonderful. Turns out as I noticed they do high tea here with the little finger sandwiches and all kinds of stuff. The wait staff even dressed up in suit and tails was pretty cool. Set up an afternoon Christmas tea with five of us. My first time here and it was delightful. Colette, the owner, took so much care from table setting to service to food to conversation. Everything that was put on our tray was made in their kitchen! I say this because it's rare these days when so many places still consign a few things out. A quaint and adorable spot for vintage finds from clothes, home decor, and all sorts of ways to spruce up your kitchen! Everything was well organized and spaced out to provide ample roaming space. I came here for the first time during an event that was happening near the park. My boyfriend and I were walking our dogs and wanted to get drinks from here as I have wanted to visited and try out their menu. I got the peach lavender lemonade which was tart and refreshing! Also, my boyfriend had gotten us reservations for a Disney Princess tea party that they were hosting. I was super excited as a huge fan of Disney and Disney Princesses! We came in a second time and saw that they were full at the dining space, which was lovely to see! And yet it didn't change our reservation time at all and we were seated on time then presented the cutest and extensive menu! It was so hard to choose and I even had to order extra stuff as I wanted to experience everything they had to offer. We each got our own pot of tea, 5 courses of themed goodies and sweets, and a cup of their loaded potato with bacon soup. Everything tasted divine, and we had no complaints! It was the right amount of portions as we left very full but not enough where we were overstuffed. I would love to do another high tea experience in the future and want to come back to try their regular menu as well! The staff here were all very kind and professional. We got to interact with several of them, and you can tell that they took their job seriously and also enjoyed it. Afternoon/high tea is such an enjoyable event and is something I do every year on my birthday. Though it wasn't my birthday this time around, I reserved a spot at this establishment for my 2.5 year old daughter and I because they were offering a Disney Princess themed afternoon tea. As this was my daughter's first time joining me at afternoon tea, this made it even more special for me. Upon being seated, we were offered a drink for toasting. Then two scones with jam, butter and clotted cream were offered along with our tea (hot chocolate for my baby girl). Her first time drinking hot cocoa and she was ecstatic! We were then provided a blue colored sherbet which I assumed helped to clean our palates for the main course. A two tiered plate of delights were then brought to us, though it was a bit disappointing to see as they only offered one of each item although we were a party of two (I've provided a photo of the tiered plate). My daughter absolutely loved her time at this establishment and I would have given them 5 stars, no problem, but I settled with three stars just because the price point for two people (although my guest was a two year old) was a bit steep given that we were only provided one of each item in the tiered plate course. I understand that with any themed events, prices will be more but I can't justify giving them 5 stars. read more

It looks like they take walkins, but you'll really want to make a reservation since there are a handful of tables and half of the business'es space is taken up selling lady merch. Our servers were gracious and constantly checking in on us. The food was pretty good. Our favorite bites were the chicken curry croissant and the salmon sandwich. My niece was obsessed with the cage of parakeets so she'd run over there to look at them. Mom and my SIL bought some cool merch. OMG!!!! I cannot give enough kudos to this place!!!! I was literally in heaven . Atmosphere, service and prices were to die for!!!

Having read the reviews of this place that recommended just going ala carte I still booked a full tea service thinking we would over order if we did that. In hindsight I wish I had heeded that advice as we had several items we just did not like and I think they charge way too much for this serving. For starters, the tea was excellent, no qualms there, so on that alone I would return. The scone I happened to love, but the explanation of the accompaniment confused my table mates as they thought the lemon curd was butter and would not have used it otherwise, and wound up not really eating their scones. The lemon curd, raspberry jam and clotted cream were all served in dollop sized containers and not nearly enough for everyone in the party to actually get a fair amount. Pity as the scones themselves I thought were quite good. The soup... it was slightly cool. My table mates loved it, I do not care for sour cream but finished it. Then the make or break for the service, the underwhelming three tiered tray. The turkey sandwich was heavy on the sweet cherry spread. As I knew one of my companions would not like it and had already not eaten a scone, I took one for the team and traded my curry for their turkey. Everyone liked the cucumber sandwich. The fruit...not plentiful and not very appetizing. The desserts, well I thought the cookie was pretty good, and all of us hated the cake. It was awful. One bite each and we all agreed. Now, service was at times too slow, but fine. However nobody gave the slightest concern about the items that went untouched. For what you pay for this service and the paltry amount you receive, I would expect a higher attention to detail at a minimum. I believe they also mention that you get unlimited tea with the service but what they mean is you get unlimited hot water. So if you are expecting a fresh pot be aware of that. It was also quite warm in the cafe for the duration of our visit, very nearly uncomfortably so. While I would not rule out a return, I would at a minimum order differently. read more

Unfortunately, we had a less-than-desirable lunch at the Pink Chandelier. I came for lunch with my mom and daughter during a very quiet service period. We ordered two of the lunch specials, "grilled" pesto and turkey sandwich with tomato soup. After a considerably long wait, our sandwiches arrived with my daughter's order. The bread was not grilled or even toasted, there wasn't really any pesto on the sandwich, and it was made with turkey deli meat that was not even evenly put onto the sandwich. It was too bad because we had wanted to like this place and had a very disappointing meal. The service was not good, and the sandwich was terrible. I only ate half to be polite at the table, and the small cup of soup that was lukewarm. All this while being seated at two tables for two that were both at different heights. I didn't make a fuss because I was there to enjoy the food and my guests. ( There were other places we could have sat for three people, as there were only two other parties in the restaurant) I hope others have a better experience. We will not be returning. read more

We've been to afternoon tea many places and will definitely come back here. Normally there's an item or 2 we aren't a fan of when we go to afternoon tea, but everything here was great. Had such a magical lovely Princess Tea visit with my niece in celebration of her birthday. Not only did Prince Charming greet us at the door and take us to our table, but 3 friendly staff members were dressed in costume too. Snow White, Elsa and Cinderella.
