An overdue review, but had to write one (finally) for The Pizza Press. Located on Harbor Boulevard and attached to The Anaheim Hotel, The Pizza Press is typically a reliable option for "individual" sized pizzas in the area. Sizing is debatable and could be sharable depending on whether you want leftovers or are super hungry. Although they do share the space with The Anaheim Hotel, there is free parking right in front of the establishment for diners. The restaurant also has tables and chairs inside for anyone wanting to eat on site. Perhaps one of the biggest pluses to The Pizza Press are its late night hours. Perfect option for anyone who may decide to stay late at Disneyland and want a bite to eat after. The Pizza Press is a build your own pizza type of spot. They have a menu in the sense of some pre-suggested combinations or generic pricing for a pizza with a certain number of toppings, but for the most part, the diner comes in to create their own personal pizza and have it baked on the spot. Wait times are generally reasonable. The staff does a good job of pushing the pizzas out in a timely manner. Service is hit or miss in terms of patience and friendliness, but that doesn't minimize the quality of the ingredients used for the pizza. Most times our pizzas have turned out just right to perfect. Price point is reasonable, especially given the location. I typically order The Post which is one sauce, mozzarella, and two toppings. Never any major complaints or gripes. Overall, The Pizza Press is a solid option for a quick and filling meal in the Disneyland Resort area. My family and I are always satisfied and full after dining here. read more

Came here on Christmas Eve around 9p and was told they opened till nightlight. A good spot to have some bites and drinks when all other places were closed. I like that they had the options for all flats for their traditional wings and we asked for no sauce. Wings were in decent size and tasty. Beer options were limited, we took the last 2 bottles of Pacifico. Restaurant was spacious so shouldn't have issues finding a spot. Haven't tried their pizza yet so perhaps we will next time. Would have been 4 stars if we were greeted with smiles and a more organized counter. Staffs seemed depressed that night and avoided eye contact when we tried to get their attention for questions. There are two size options, a bajillion toppings options so you can practically build any pizza you want and they don't skimp on the meat. Highly recommend adding the pesto and balsamic glaze at the end of the line. Grab a fountain drink because wow the juices are really great blends. Don't know if they rotate but they have a mango, strawberry dragonfruit, and a cherry grape blueberry punch. All amazing. read more

It's a large space on the inside with lots of seating and decent parking. I'm sure it gets busy since they're right next to Disneyland. I do like that they have hand sanitizing stations throughout the area. The pizza is a bit pricey at $17 for preset toppings or $18 for custom. They do have a kids meal with half a reg pizza 1 topping a cookie and drink. Why I probably wouldn't come back, the drink fountain is completely molded. It was so gross I lost my appetite. On the north side, you'll see Grand Legacy Hotel, and The Pizza Press is right next to The Anaheim Hotel, even connected through a small indoor hallway. Parking: Turn right from Harbor Blvd into the lot -- left side is for The Pizza Press, right side leads to The Anaheim Hotel parking. Super convenient! Atmosphere: Spacious interior with around 20-25 tables, and there's also a nice outdoor patio where you can enjoy your pizza and people-watch. Great for both small and large groups. Ordering Process: Similar to Blaze Pizza or Pieology -- you can build your own pizza or choose from their signature pies. One thing to note: they don't offer a mini/single-size pizza, which might be a downside for solo eaters. Service & Food: When I visited, there were about 3-4 people ahead of me, and my pizza came out in 4-5 minutes -- super fast! Staff were friendly and efficient. Pizza quality was decent to above average, and the overall experience was great -- quick service, tasty pizza, and clean space. I have been going to The Pizza Press for about 10 years. They had a place in Fullerton by the Fullerton State College and they were excellent. Then they closed and I go to their Anaheim location on Harbor and it's still my favorite pizza. They have a thin dough pizza and you get to add your choice of toppings. It goes through an oven and it's cooked perfectly. One of the most popular items is the Cheese bread it's the best that I have ever had. The staff is always welcoming when you walk in they make sure you get the toppings correct. The inside is covered with wallpaper of pictures of old time newspaper printing machines. I don't know many people that I have told about them to not be happy with them. read more

Staying in the area around Disneyland can become expensive. After getting to our room we wanted something quick but good and not too expensive. The pizza press is not only open late its staff is super friendly and got our food made quickly. We got a 8slice pepperoni pizza to go. The pizza looked different and I was a little worried I wasn't going to like it. It was love and first bit. The breading was super thin but with the cheese was one of the better pizzas I have had in a long time. The ambiance was modern pizzeria, but we did not eat in restaurant. I would consider myself one of the most loyal and staunch supporters of Pizza Press that doesn't live in Southern California. I always make it a thing to pick up a pie from here whenever I'm in town. I've been going here since they first opened over 13 years ago. In fact they started this place in a different location (closer to the McDonald's in front of Disneyland on Harbor blvd). I just visited this place and it completely fell the F off. Place is a mess. Employees all look like they don't wanna be there. The quality has gone downhill, their dough is razor thin now and doesn't hold any of the toppings. It literally slips off when you try to pick it up and eat it. My pizza was also really burned, dude watching the pizza from the cashier side decided to leave it in longer for no reason which made most of my toppings hella c I don't relish writing this, but something's gotta give. Blaze Pizza is down the street and much better. Though in its hay day, I would've recommended Pizza Press over any of the larger chain BYO pizza joints, bar none. Horrible pizza! We ordered a large pizza to go and as soon as ww got to our hotel next door we opened the pizza and the dough was still raw! We wasted $46 on a pizza we couldn't even eat and had no energy to go back after a long day in the park. This is outside of the Anaheim Hotel near Disneyland. Spacious and plenty of seating even for big parties. You start from right to left to get your pizza made and then pay at the register. It's a thin crust, can be oily. You can build your own or get one of their signatures. Dropped by for Pi Day for a $3.14 signature pizza. What a steal! This spot is conveniently close to Disneyland without being located in the park or downtown Disney. This place was busy around dinner time, 7:30ish. The wait time was VERY long, about 30-45mins from walk in to walk out. We got ours to go. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, letting us add or remove items from our pizzas. The pizzas are made fresh including "press"ing the dough I to its round shape. There are several pre-made options but you can also choose your own toppings. We decided on "The Herald" and "The Sun". I wouldn't recommend The Herald, it's pretty bland and the white sauce doesn't have much flavor which makes the whole of it fairly unsatisfying. The Sun on the other hand was very yummy and I would recommend it whether or not you like pineapple. 3/5 stars due to extremely long wait to even order and blandness of one of our pizzas. I would come back again, but maybe at a different time and choose a different pizza. read more

The interior is very modern looking and the employees are both patient and welcoming. As for the pizzas themselves, the lunch special pizza tasted really good, but it's limited to only 2 toppings and nothing else. If you only want 2 toppings, the lunch special is the best deal. However, if you don't come at lunch or want more toppings, I would highly recommend the PYO pizza. For only a few dollars more, you can get an unlimited amount of toppings on your pizza. When you get the PYO pizza, you can put extra toppings on at the end, called "finishers". I was a little sad that you couldn't put any "finishers" on the limited topping pizzas, but I guess it makes sense. read more

I like Pizza Press in Long Beach. I was happy to go to the Anaheim store. We placed our order and walked along to get to where we pay and pick up the pizza. There is a 4" shelf between the plastic and equipment, I see a long hair. I brushed it away. Then I looked at the shelf and it was filthy. Clumps of dust, it has not been cleaned in a long time, I kept walking and the filth got worst. I told my daughter we needed to leave. I told the employee to cancel our order. I told him the place was filthy, I said it loud enough for all the people that were waiting to hear me plus the employees. I cannot go back in there after what I saw. read more

Hustling, smiling and delivering good drinks, food and vibes - the pool guy for the win! Now for the pizza... It was "okay." Not great, no bad. Salad was "okay" too, not great, not...you know. I have to give the place a little credit for being across the street from Disneyland in a large hotel as it's probably a lot of effort serving the masses who file in/out regularly. I'm surprised at how many good reviews this place has. We went in late Friday night about 45 minutes before closing and were told we have to take it to go. The restaurant was very dirty and the employees so rude. There was a girl with dark hair sweeping around us and purposely slamming chairs onto the tables next to us. As people were walking in she was rudely glaring and giving dirty looks to people coming in. You could tell that tables and other surfaces have not been wiped down in who knows how long. We left Disneyland and just wanted a pizza to take back to the hotel and relax. I called and ordered ahead but in reality it's a MOD pizza type place where they make it for you custom as you go down the line. No need to order ahead. I paid $15 for a medium two topping. A yummy build your own pizza place. The employees were really nice and patient. The pizza was pretty good, they had a good selection of toppings both veggie and meats. The pizzas weee all just slightly floppy in the middle which was annoying as we ate but the flavors were good. As the other reviews say, it does take a longer time to order and get your pizza but there is ample seating indoor and outside. It is attached to The Anaheim hotel so there are restrooms, a bar, and a gift shop nearby if you want to walk around. We would definitely go back to this pizza place, hands down so much better than most of the traditional park foods. As for the pizza, I got The Journal which came with 3 toppings. I chose spicy chicken, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms. After it went through the oven, I added fresh basil and balsamic glaze. The pizza was crispy and very delicious. The pizza was around $13 which was on the pricier side, but that's Anaheim for you. What did bother me was that when you look online for the Anaheim menu, the prices were lower than when you go in store. I hope they update it soon. Overall was a good experience.
