Once we entered the building we looked at their menu. They have extensive flavors and also sorbet and low sugar options. They do let you try and i've tried a few. I ended up settling with hazelnut and peanut butter flavor. The gelato has nice texture and flavorful. Not overly sweet either. Service was great and the staff was very attentive. The crust on both was perfectly flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious. The strawberry rhubarb struck that just right balance of sweetness with a bright citrusy lift, and the apple was the kind of all-American comfort you dream about for a fall wedding. We picked the pies up in person, and Apple Shed was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Planning from Arizona could have been tricky, but they were so accommodating and incredibly helpful, making the whole process seamless from afar. Truly outstanding pies and equally outstanding people. Highly recommend!
