It has a small dance area but plays really decent music. Not cheesey music at all, mostly old skool rnb and garage. Definitely make your body grooving! No food is served at this place but the drinks does make up for it! ( eating is cheating...right?) The price is reasonable for London especially the sharer. Although it said for 3- 4 to share. We went with 11 girls everyone does get at least more than afew mouthful! What is also amazing if you booked and reseved table the barman does look after you. They also will keep topping water up for you, which it makes a lot of different in a hot dance floor. I teally enjoy my night with my girls. It also you don't have to be blasted to have a goodtime. Also forgot to mention, in the ladies toilet as you walk in don't be alarm to see dismantle babies nakely framing the mirror. It was very bizzard!

The staff were pretty top notch, minus the odd grumpy bartender who clearly wanted to be anywhere but there. I dig the nostalgic concept and will be back to try the food, which seems to be all the rave. Definitely a place for groups and dates.

Hey have a pretty good deal - £6 burrito that includes a soft drink. It wasn't very busy but it did take about 5 min to come out. I guess I'm used to burrito bars where most of it is already made. Donde está el sabor? Sadly the burritos I make at home with the kits have more taste. It's presented very nicely and surely they use nice ingredients but sadly when you mostly taste the melted cheddar cheese or sometimes the plain rice - it does deserve a one or two star review. I had to drown it in the jalapeño sauce. When you have places like Tortilla that's considerably fast food and tastes really nice - probably wouldn't come back here for the food. I always want independent places like this to do well but sorry do they know what Mexican food should taste like?

Sufficed to say the beer was the best thing out of the experience. What we ordered: Chicken Burrito - it looked good because it was overstuffed with chicken, but looks can be TOTALLY deceiving. The chicken had NO flavor and it was COLD! Wtf! Baja Fish Tacos and Carnitas Tacos- the fish was ok but that was it. The tortillas for these "street tacos" were dry and crumbly Never again!

The pub is superb - five stars! Excellent selection of drinks, great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They even had my favorite Cornish ale, on tap...something I have never seen outside of Devon, although when the cask was gone, it is gone and another interesting ale takes its place. The restaurant is not-superb. I had been looking forward to trying it, since the pub is so good. The meal didn't start off bad, the service was good and friendly. The menu is a little weird, ranging from veal brains to fish and chips but oddly not very varied and largely fish based. We ordered rib-eyes, for £21 - pricey, so I was expecting them to be good - we had two done medium-rare and two medium. They all arrived rare, and mine was a poor and fatty cut, even for a rib-eye. Having read other reviews from last year I am glad I didn't send them back though, better rare than cremated. By the end I did not feel good, and after looking at the lackluster desert menu with a build-your-own cheeseboard (can't you do it?) we passed. Sorry chef, if you can't cook a steak...then I wont be trying your veal brains. Very disappointing!

So depending on what I'm reviewing, my rating would be quite different. The four stars I've given the pub reflect only the restaurant experience, but I have also briefly described the bar experience below. Last time I was at the Prince of Wales, I had a vegetarian pappardelle that was to die for. The sauce was delicious and the pasta was cooked to perfection. My b/f had a steak that was tender and perfectly cooked. The wines are reasonably priced and well chosen to match the food. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and happy to recommend their favourite dishes and wines. They really know their menu--maybe because some of them live upstairs and as a result source all their food and drink from the pub. The décor in the restaurant is quite unique. With taxidermy, skulls, antlers, chandeliers, solid wood tables and a view into the kitchen, you'll feel strangely at home. I would definitely go back for a meal, especially since it's so close to home. But I'm not sure I would go there for just a drink. The space is cramped and full of really annoyingly loud drunks. It's not that I'm an old kill-joy or that I don't know how to have fun, I just happen to think that being fall on the floor drunk at 6pm in the evening is a bit OTT.

I came during happy hour, but towards the end so it wasn't crowded. Their list of cocktails are extensive. I love trying a different drink whenever I come. I tried their twisted mojitos, which is a spin on the classic mojito. Instead of rum, vanilla vodka was used and I enjoyed this unique touch. I finished my two mojitos very quickly that's how good they were. This location was a short bus ride from where I was staying. I wish the Be at One chain would come to the States, specifically California! I know they would do well because they stick to only cocktails and they do it right.

I'm in pain, the tooth is split and I'll probably have to have root canal. If anyone knows this girl please give me a name, I'm in touch with the police. She was probably somewhere around 5ft 5, petite, looked like she was with a group of guys, perhaps late teens early twenties, dark hair - brown or reddy I'm not sure. It happened past the bar in the back bit to the left as you're facing back - not right at the back. After it happened and I went to get someone she scarpered so we didn't get to see her face properly, it was all a bit fast. Help much appreciated! The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive with getting my details etc. Normally I enjoy going here.
