As yous might know, I rarely give five stars, as I believe there is always room for improvement. Further, to get four stars from me for a burger is not something that happens very often! However, THESE burgers were cooked perfectly, and when I asked Haley, our server, about how they check the temp she knew what I was asking, which for me as a chef, was great to hear. The restaurant was clean and although it has a full bar section it is very nice the way it is set up to be separate to allow kids in the non bar part. The music was the perfect level and tho there were TVs they were not loud and intrusive. I think you can tell a lot about a place by how nice the bathrooms are, and the bathrooms at The Porch are beautiful. The only thing I would have changed is that there were no paper towels. There was a hand dryer, but I never will use the blower dryers. This is a fun and tasty place for a date night. The cost is a bit on the higher side, and many things are added on with an up charge, so be sure to ask if you are concerned about cost! Lastly, and this is very important! There was a mixup on our bill and I mentioned it to Haley, and she quickly responded with the offer to discount our bill. It made all the difference for us. Nice place, very clean, the acoustics are just loud, the place is built that way. The food was slightly better than average, the fish and chips were the best plate of our four. (sorta sad) The mahi tacos were 3 street tacos, they were good, but the portion was small compared to the other plates on the table. Seems like it was missing a side of rice, or something. Everyone else had a huge pile of fries. Everyone agreed, the fries are outstanding. It was a nice place for dinner. Haley was outstanding, really made things happen, and little asks were handled swiftly, and gracefully. Haley made this experience shine! read more

For Ambience definitely a 5 star. Food was more like between 3 to 4 star. Service was 4 star. I really liked their taco. The Greek Quinoa Salad was bit dry and chicken pieces were hard. Ambience was pretty decent given it is a small town. However I think I was charged for taco's full price although I it was on happy hours time. I just can't verify it because I didn't review the receipt. Overall you can do this place. read more

After reading reviews, we held off on trying The Porch for a while. We finally decided to try it out last Friday. Wow! Reviews are pretty accurate. Food is overpriced and extremely bland. My husband ordered the Rib Eye and it was $40, smothered in gravy and raw cherry tomatoes. Asparagus was somehow overcooked and chewy. Not a hint of salt on anything. However the service was pretty good. We sat in the bar area and the bartender was right on top of our needs. Unfortunately we will not return. Management: PLEASE look into revamping your underwhelming menu! The venue is beautiful and could really be something. read more

We came here last minute for a group of 30 and they were amazing!!!! The service was so fast. My wedge salad was so delicious. We were in and out with full bellies in less than two hours. Which I find amazing for that large of a group. read more

We came here for dinner. Reservations were not needed. The staff was friendly and prompt. We ordered drinks which were reasonably priced, correctly made and very tasty. Had the fish and chips for dinner along with a caesar salad. Portions are very generous so be sure to bring your appetite. There was background music but it was not intrusive. the decor is muted but tasteful. All in all it was a most enjoyable experience and I will definitely be returning. read more

I've been to The Porch before and it wasn't terrible but last night it was a major disappointment. We were seated by the door with a baby and it was so cold! I ordered a filet cooked to medium. What showed up was a very well-done top sirloin. Our server never came to ask how things were or if we needed anything else. My carrots and broccoli was actually squash and broccoli with absolutely no flavoring or spices. My boyfriend ordered a drink from the bar and they didn't ask what brand of alcohol he wanted and was not made right. Overall, it was a very disappointing dinner and wouldn't recommend or go back. read more

What a great place! Love how it's decorated, the service was exceptional. The food was DELICIOUS! I got the wedge salad upon the waitresses recommendation and it did not disappoint. I always stop by when I'm in town and last weekend was no different. Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Wasn't sure what drink to get but Vicente recommended the blackberry crown royal lemonade and it was so good! He took care of the table and was very attentive and friendly! Mixed feelings. Pros: -Steaks (skirt steak, steak bites and the New York) were good -potatoes were plain but I personally like it that way lol Cons: -service was odd (my senior father got mad, he felt ignored anytime he tried to get something) -corn tasted like a tv dinner corn (only way to explain it, it was weird for me but oddly familiar. When I was kid I had kid cuisines and those were the bomb to me and this reminded me of it lol. I liked it because it was nostalgic but at same time it made it feel cheap and just a weird side to me. -$ I slightly feel like it wasn't worth it for what we got when compared to other places we spend that. $181 I think after maybe $28 tip. 3 dinners and two appetizers. 2 lemonades. Found ourselves in Ellensburg at lunch time and wanted to try a new place. The Porch was close to our destination. The atmosphere is nice whether one sits in the bar or main area. My spouse had the Pesto Turky Wrap with bacon, avocado, mozzarella and garlic aioli which he really enjoyed. Good fries. I have a small appetite and couldn't decide on which small appetizer, so I let our server "Lil" pick my meal. I loved her choice of small Nachos, which was more of a Tex-Mex style (without meat). Some reviews the prices were on the high side but seemed in the range with our restaurants. THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST GARLIC BREAD UGHH WITH CHEESE ON TOP!!! I ordered the fettuccine with steak the first time and the second time took a major risk ordering the bacon Mac and cheese! The steak was so bland but the sauce was on point!!! The only reason I ate the whole thing! Oh my GOODNESS!! This place genuinely MADE my weekend. We stayed up here for a vocal competition and found this place. We just barely snuck in between reservations and had the time of our LIVES! The food is pricey but completely worth it! Everyone there was quite kind and felt very authentic to the fancy look it gave off. Every last detail from the server, the food, and even the decor made us feel like this was the right place. I truly do recommend this place as it is a LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE! Came in for a date with my partner. We sat in the bar hoping for a more laid back environment and were greatly disappointed with our service and food. Our server was named Miranda and she was very nonchalant and dismissive towards us. All hype. Vastly understaffed for a Sunday afternoon. Walked in and there were several other parties waiting despite numerous open tables. No one ever greeted us and when we asked if we could sit at the bar, the waitress told us the bartender had just told her not to seat anyone else in the bar area. Even if you are low on wait staff, you don't leave patrons standing at the door. After 10 minutes, we left and went to the WONDERFUL Mexican restaurant up the street. Parking is only street parking arrive early and be ready to do circles. Walking in, the place is a wonderful atmosphere. Came during lunch and sat inside with plenty of inside (including bar area) and outside. Received water and the glasses were not clean but quickly taken back and replaced. The staff was very pleasant and nice. Server Haley was excellent, looks like she was serving the restaurant. Food was average, nothing exciting (Street Tacos / Fish & Chips / BLTA). Nice amount of spacing for seating at and in the bar. Excellent service at the bar, especially welcomed on Father's Day.
