Prices are lower than other independent shops around, and it's conveniently at the heart of downtown Toronto. For such a tiny shop, they bring in many plant varieties that even Canadian Tire next door doesn't stock. The owner is also sweet and accommodating and would give you tips on plant care if you need it. Here are some plant goodies I've picked up in the past year: - Rubber Plant 3.5inch pot $10 - Hoya Pubicalyx 4inch $18 - Peperomia Hope 3.5inch $7 - 5inch white round ceramic pot made from Germany is less than $15 During the lockdown, they do pickups and payments in-store. Well, there's a reason why third time's a charm, and I called the owner of the Brampton Flower Shop - she directed me to their website to give her an idea of the kind of flowers I wanted to send, and I ended up finding an arrangement I thought my Grandma would like. She was very patient, and she double checked to make sure the arrangements I did like had the flowers in the description (example, she didn't have yellow lilies for one arrangement I liked, so I chose another that was more pink/red based, equally as beautiful). And she was willing to deliver to Caledon! 2 hours later I got a phone call from Grandma telling me the flowers are gorgeous and that there are so many! The flowers looked just like the description on the website, and my family in Canada let me know the flowers were beautiful and fresh. After calling the store about ordering flowers for our wedding we were set-up with an appointment with Ron. When we met with Ron at the shop we went over all the items we needed for our wedding and we showed him some photos of the colours and look we were going for. Our experience was a very personalized experience here. Unfortunately, they are not very responsive through e-mails and it is best to contact them in-person or by phone for more complex/large orders like ours. Value (5/5) We ordered my bride's bouquet ($150), three bridesmaids bouquets ($85 each), four boutineers ($10 each), and two corsages ($20 each) and a table top floral arrangement ($75) from them for around $700 tax and shipping included! Many of the other stores we were inquiring from were quoting us around $1000 for this so we saved around $300 from ordering from them in comparison so other wedding floral shops. Shipping was only $10 for each address and we got half the flowers shipped to the groom's house and half to the bride's house which worked great for putting on the boutineers and corsages for the parents. Quality (5/5) The flowers were all very nicely packaged in cardboard boxes and safely kept so not as to damage the flowers. The bountineers and corsages were shipped in a box and each of them were inside little clear plastic bags with water inside so keep them staying fresh for longer. A friend of mine told me about "Sara Flowers". Basically, she's the go to person in Toronto for flowers. If you're looking for someone who knows their stuff and has talent and is still affordable despite the hype. When I visited, I chatted with her and she's done stuff like Rob Ford funeral, stores like LV, restos like Kasa Motto, Chase, etc. I went in and basically said do what you think is right, after giving her some general instructions, and watching her work, she really is brilliant. In terms of the actual store itself, I was really impressed at the stuff they're carrying. There's a large retail front selling house items, and gift items. Very cool stuff actually. The card section is excellent. Hilarious actually. Everyone's got succulents, but these guys also carry coral cactus (the only store in Toronto I've seen so far). They also carry Parkhill Candles (really hard to find, but excellent) and at a cheaper price than I paid in the U.S. Other cool things as well if you're looking for gift ideas. Overall, this place is worth the drive for me. Flowers are expensive, but at least I don't feel ripped off here.
