So much in one little shop…read more I popped in this morning just as they were opening (9am) and the two people working inside were so cheerful! I have never met a friendly saturday morning worker in my life, it was great to be met with a big beaming smile. Even though I couldn't find what I was after (some self adhesive wall hooks, stron enough to hold a coat - any ideas anyone?) I had a great experience in this 'find pretty much anything you are after' store! From pet accessories to allen key sets and wierd and wonderfull collection of goods.

On the contrary it's one of those magical shops that has whatever it is you're looking for. I go in for incense, they have it. I go in for a present for my niece, they have it. Spilling out onto the streets, all the bits and bobs you could possibly need to make a house a home can all be swiped up here. Don't let the name confuse you though, the only trading will be with actual money!

The prices are great, the quality can be beaten but is good considering the price, and they're bound to have what you want. Those reviews here belong to a long time ago when an old lady was managing the store and customers were happy. As long as Abdul, the new agent is running the store, it is awful! In fact the current seller of this shop is not a normal person at all. The shop pretends to be a cheap place, while has some bad quality stuff with triple the price of similar stuff in other shops and never cuts a key which can work at all. The man in the bright day light takes your money without any shame and then accuses you of racism! He charged me £7 to cut 2 keys, not working. twice I took them to the shop for a refund. The third time he refunded me on my debit card. The next day I checked and realized rather than refunding he had taken another £7! I went there, burst into anger and asked for my £14 or will call the police! He was laughing at me what did the police do? When he noticed I was serious, refunded me in cash. There was a CCTV there, recording all that happened. He lied to the police I spat on him and called him a bad name! It is now recorded in the police station. In the future, be aware if he wants to play the race card, he has at least one record in this regard at the police station BE MINDFUL WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD, HE GETS MONEY OUT OF IT WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT AND WITH NO SHAME, IN THE BRIGHT DAYLIGHT!

The staff here are very chatty and helpfull, make you feel like you can just walk round and look and not have staff on your case. The shop looks very colourful and good selection in different colours and all set out very well. I brought four items and just came under £13.00 and this is for my holiday, and includes 2 tops and 2 bottoms. It is well worth the money. Lets hope that this shop does not close down.

Clovers is a good shop!…read more I visited the one in Berinsfield before I realised there was one in Wantage, and they are both quite similar in terms of size and what they sell. They have a huge range of stuff from toiletries to suitcases, and loads of storage boxes which for some reason always really appeal to me! They are also very cheap! They are situated next to the pound shop in wantage, and are much better in my opinion!

This place was one of the gems. More specifically than Oxfam it is an Oxfam Music Shop and it's really one of the best offerings Oxfam has. There are boxes filled with records of all genres from bluegrass to techno and a good selection of CDs and music books too. The prices are much better than you'd find in London and more akin to a charity shop than a record store. For me the best part was the classical music selection. 10 records for £5. That's 50p for an LP. Insane. I was giddy, I couldn't take too many back with me but I managed to find 10 with some supremely awesome arrangements and wonderfully designed covers. At 50p you can just pick 10 random records and take them home to listen to, if you don't like it you can redonate it at no really great loss and if you do then it's a bonus. I really wish I lived closer so I could go back time and time again. Also, erm, the staff were supremely hot. I mean it's kind of a cliché that hot indie types would work in an Oxfam music store but they do. Seriously.

This interesting charity shop is set just off Broad Street and sells primarily CDs, DVDs, sheet…read moremusic, LPs, EPs and other vinyls. Sometimes there can be some real classics to purchase, and when I was in there a customer enquired about an Iron Maiden LP which I think was priced around £35, so some collectors items can be had. I bought two pieces of sheet music which they priced at 99p each (both single songs). They have music for piano, recorder, organ, keyboard, double bass and guitar. I was very tempted by a Placebo CD for £3.99 in excellent condition although I refrained. Definitely worth a look if you're into music, and also want to help a worthwhile cause.

My one piece of advice would be, if you see a bargin, grab it while you can as it may not be there next time you go. The staff are friendly and helpful but don't know themselves what is going to be on the next delivery. There is a small car park attached to store but this is often full, there is a council pay and display carpark just across the road. A shop well worth popping into regularly to spot a bargin or two.

The shop has a keep back service on the wool for a month if you can not afford it all at onceloads of patterns but it can be difficult to browse these properly as space is so limited and only a little shelf where all the pattern books are kept.

They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining.
