I bought a t-shirt here that was so ridiculous I don't even know if I could wear it in public. The thought cracks me up though. If you haven't figured it out yet, Silver Spur is a t-shirt shop geared towards tourists. There are a plethora of designs on the walls to choose from. The neat thing is that you get to pick your color and size t-shirt and they add the design while you wait. I picked an absurd one and my youngest picked a cat in space design. She loves it and I love mine. The design has held up through many washes and looks as good as other shirts I have ordered online. If you want an absurd shirt, make sure you stop here.

My friend and I wandered in on a lazy day to browse the cards, books and jewelry we saw from the outside. The store was super quiet and both staff members (including a young girl that brushed by me and a man cuddling with a tiny, rat-like dog) didn't say hello to us. I finally looked at the staff member and smiled, asking him about his little dog. The dog proceeded to run over to me for some affection (no wonder considering how emotionally chilly that place was!). The store had some neat things, including body wash from France, thick books on architecture and handmade cards, but we didn't stay long. The warmest reception I got was from the little doggy and he was the only one that looked sad when I left.

New location, new review!…read more Chic'tique is my favorite boutique in all San Antonio! I've been a loyal customer for five years and the owner is the sweetest human in the whole world. This shop is women and latina-owned, and they carry a very limited selection of items that you can't find anywhere else. Every time I wear something from Chic'tique I get stopped and people will ask me where I got it from? The owner takes so much pride on making sure everything that is at the store is unique and of great quality. She is always adding new brands and items. They recently moved to a new location in the Broadway area acoss from Central Market. I love this location because even though is more intimate, the changing room and the vibe is so much better.
