We sat up at the bar and met Vince, the owner/bartender, and over the course of about 2 hours we kabitzed with Vince and simply chatted about France in general, soccer (there was a screen behind the bar showing a soccer match), American football, music, you name it. Vince has got an interesting collection of Star Wars items sprinkled around here and there, and simply created a nice place for people to just come in, imbibe, and sit to chat with friends. This was a memorable spot on our 10-day tour of France, and we loved it here so much that we'll go out of our way to go back for a visit next time we're in the French Riviera.

So we stopped there 3 days in a row after sightseeing. The draft beers (pression) were great, the wine was great, the people were nice as can be. We were the only non-locals there which is nice. And we had an amazing cheese and charcuterie board that was the best deal we found in France. This is not a tourist place, just a very charming little bar.
