The chicken vegetable dumplings had great skin and texture. The peppercorn salad was adorned with pickled cabbage, capers, maple coconut, crunchy chickpeas and more - it was amazing. We also tried the Thai basil risotto and it was good but I'd go with the peppercorn salad over this if you're sticking vegetarian. We ordered the Katana Platter, Green Salad, Vegetable Tempura, and Tonkotsu Ramen. We also had Green Tea - you order per pot and they make it for you (no tea bags). Everything tasted fresh and great. The tempura was not greasy at all. One thing to note is the rolls fell apart when picking up so not quite made firm. It didn't change the taste though. They also gave us complimentary Motoyaki which tasted awesome! Staff were friendly. It's a nice little restaurant and we are glad we tried it.

I guess we are spoiled in BC where the sushi is generally good and our experience in Calgary was disappointing.
