Our tour guide, recommended this place and I am so happy we ate here. The ambience was pretty cool and right off the main street in Bath. It was pretty busy when we got there but luckily our group was small, three of us. We were seated on the 2nd floor which was pretty roomy and a bit warm but then again, we are in a pizzeria. I ended up ordering the La Bella Vita pizza which had mozzarella, pepperoni sausage, Italian salame, torn chicken breast, and bacon. It was delicious and the cheese was perfect and not too cheesy. The sauce on the pizza had a great taste that put it over the top, amazing. I paired it well with my Aperol Spritz and took in the views while eating. Our waitress was great and recommended some must see locations while we were in town. She was great. If I ever come back to Bath, I will definitely stop by again because there were some other menu items that caught my eye and plus, the service was great. read more

The jerk with the beard in front is rude and pretentious. You have to spend 15 pound per person to sit in their shabby pizzeria. Go else where save your money . If you go down the street there is much better cafes in the shade . Don't give your money to these rude people . I hope this crappy pizzeria closes down !! read more

Had a great meal here our first night in Bath. Sat outside and enjoyed beautiful weather (the servers were very keen to accommodate our request to sit outside and made sure a table was immediately cleaned off for us). Shared one of their specialty pizzas (very tasty, only wish there'd been a bit more generous helpings of the meat topping, as not every slice had it), Caesar salad (big portion, perfect for sharing), and a sampler of their dipping sauces (for the crust -- so good!). Busy place! We did get lucky to be able to get in and seated in their upstairs. We each ordered our own pizza and it was a good size! I ordered the Parma pizza that has rocket lettuce and prosciutto. My fiancé got the Diavola which has pepperoni and jalapeños. The pizza is a thin size and you can get a dipping sauce if you want to dip your crust. I got the garlic butter (thanks papa John's). Right when we got off our tour bus we walked right past this place. It was packed, and we figured it might be just super touristy, however, it looked delicious. After walking and knowing our time table, we figured, it might be best just to eat here as nothing else looked super appetizing. We had a little over an hour to eat and go back to the bus stop. We ordered their garlic bread with cheese, it was really delicious! The garlic was not overwhelming. We also shared La Bella Vita. The pizza is pretty big, plenty for two people to share. It's nice because they have an open kitchen, so you can see them tossing the dough, adding, the toppings and baking the pizza. It's a wood oven, so the dough toasts up beautifully. Be sure to add for the garlic oil and the chili oil, adds and extra bit of flavor the amazing pizza. Very affordable and quick, if you in a rush to catch your tour bus, it's a solid option. read more

This place serves very good Pizza. I had the 'Nocina' - spinach, mozzarella, gorgonzola, and walnuts. Hubby has the 'Pollo con Funghi' - chicken, mushroom and mozzarella. They had thin crisp bases made with really delicious dough, the crusts were both light and retained an elastic bite. I enjoyed every last morsel! The service by the waiters was very good. They were friendly, personal and attentive - a pleasant surprise considering this is an informal pizzeria, not a fine restaurant. We popped in on this place to fuel up after spending several weary hours doing 'last minute Christmas shopping'. As it was about 3pm on a Monday many other restaurants and cafés had stopped serving lunch, but this place was still open. Being a large restaurant located just around the corner from the Abbey, this place is pretty busy with shoppers, tourists and families. There is plenty of seating, and despite the numbers in the restaurant we were served quickly and didn't wait long for our lunch. It's a large restaurant in two floors, high ceilings, wooden floors and lots of and natural light due to the original sash windows. The decor is a little shabby around the edges, but I suppose that is expected with the numbers of visitors it gets. For a casual and informal lunch this place is spot on. read more

Excellent value, very good staff...and a deal to boot! Our inn told us about the Bath loyalty card...and it's discounts, and as we fancied pizza we checked the place out on a quite Sunday evening after a couple of pints of Fullers. The pizza base could have been a little thinner for our liking, but importantly it was really well cooked in the brick oven and had exactly the right level of singe. The base was however crisp and not soggy and it wasn't swamped with cheese like those mass market brands insist on doing. The toppings were excellent. We had a glass of wine and a select beer, and our server a Czech guy could not have been more helpful or personable...and we took great delight in tipping him a fiver as he was a credit to the business. The olive on top of the pizza...with the Bath card it was buy one, get one free....an excellent deal. We'll be back when we are next in Bath. read more

The name of this restaurant begs the question, "Can one get good pizza in London?" Back Stateside, I've had friends claim they will only eat pizza in New York. They say this quite seriously, and look at you with this expression of defiance as if to even suggest that one could like pizza in another part of the world would surely relegate one to Neanderthal status. On that note, let me say that the pizza here is excellent. It's not greasy like NYC, or deep dish like Chicago, but it is flavorful with a perfect crust and a wonderful blend of fresh ingredients. We ordered on our waiter's recommendation La Quattro Stagioni pizza, and I would definitely get it again. The only downside was that the place is a bit small and the location was beset by tourists, so it pays to be a bit patient. But if you're not in a rush (and you shouldn't be in Bath), relax, enjoy and treat yourself to pizza that's way better than a slice in New York City. read more

Pretty good thin crust pizza near the touristy part of Bath. We tried the Vegetariana and the Proscuitto & Funghi pizzas, and both had a good number of toppings though could have used a bit more sauce near the edges. Also, the center of both pizzas were kind of soggy, and we definitely had to fork and knife it. Not being Italian or having ever visited Italy; I have very little authority on what a real Italian pizza should taste like. So I can't attest that what I ate was indeed a 'Real Italian Pizza' BUT I do know my own taste buds - and they were very pleased with my pizza! The base was thin, crispy and delicious. The generous toppings of meaty Italian sausage, rich sun dried tomatoes and onions were balanced by tangy capers. It was a very, very good pizza! The restaurant is quite large (although it doesn't look it from the ground floor) - upstairs they have lots of seating. There were plenty of staff to cope with how busy it was- I thought the service was excellent. They have a good selection of drinks (including a wine sourced from the family home town in Italy) and plenty of desserts to choose from. My message is - if you're in Bath - give this a go! As we walked in the door you can see the wood fired oven, and sense the aroma of wood fired pizza and pasta being prepared. Unfortunately there was no room down stairs beside the wood oven, so we dined upstairs. The wait staff were very efficient and professional. The menu reflected a genuine Italian pizza range. It really is authentic and it tastes great. The friendly staff are only a bonus. There is a lot on the menu other than pizza if you want something different.
