It was difficult just to schedule a showing because the seller did not want to move, which already made things complicated. On top of that, communication from Bri was very poor/ little to none. She was SLOW to respond to my realtor and often delayed getting back to us, which made the process unnecessarily stressful. Once we submitted an offer, we were told there were multiple offers on the property. (LIE) Shortly after, the seller significantly raised the price.(20,000$). The entire situation felt more like a game than a professional transaction handled with transparency and integrity. It honestly felt like we were being pushed to increase our offer without clear evidence of other active buyers. Ultimately, we decided to move on and pursue another property, which ended up being a much better/cleaner fit. Interestingly, once we canceled our offer, the home went right back on the market and continues to show as available. That definitely made us question the "multiple offers" we were told about. She doesn't care about veterans or military/law enforcement. Buying a home is already stressful, and clear communication, honesty, and professionalism are extremely important. Unfortunately, that was not our experience her AT ALL. I don't recommend using this flashy mindless realtor. She also tried to threaten the open house and bribe me to not have the open house for me to pay more. If I could give her ZERO stars I would. Her name is big and all hype if your serious with money and want something with quick response time stay away!!!!

Laura quickly figured out our needs better than we understood them ourselves and in short order found us a place which we love, in a neighborhood we are comfortable in, both of which grow on us day by day. Without being pushy she guided us to a property which suited us while showing us a variety of properties, some of which were more attractive to me at the time but whose unsuitability I understand more clearly as time passes. And her negotiating skills got the seller to accept an offer under listing price. I'm glad I trusted her! Laura is a consistent and quickly responsive communicator, a pleasure to talk to, and she held our hands (as inexperienced buyers) through the whole process, which went better than I imagined it could before we met her, while we were trying to figure things out on our own. I can't think of any drawbacks to mention.

She helped get the house truly "sale-ready," managing details I didn't even know existed and coordinating things so seamlessly it felt like magic. When the house fell out of escrow the first time, that gut-punch moment every seller dreads, Cherrie never missed a beat. She was back out there doing open houses, scheduling showings, and keeping the momentum alive. She never gave up on us, not for one second. Cherrie checked in every single day, making sure we always knew what was happening with the property. She communicated clearly, anticipated issues before they became problems, and handled every twist with grace and grit. Letting go of my parents' home was bittersweet, but Cherrie made the entire experience feel supported, steady, and surprisingly peaceful. She didn't just manage a transaction, she honored a family story. I would highly, wholeheartedly recommend Cherrie Brown for any real estate transaction, anywhere. An "Exceptional" Experience--If You Enjoy Disappointment!…read moreSelling my home with Renee was truly a remarkable experience--if by remarkable, you mean selling for $60K less than the original listing price after nearly six months on the market. Oh, and let's not forget the most hilarious part: my home, which is 600 square feet larger than my neighbor's, sold for just $10K more--except they managed to close in 1.5 months, while mine dragged on for half a year. But hey, their home was cozier, had better upgrades, and was just overall superior, so clearly, it's my home's fault. Now, Renee was fantastic at making the process smooth and staging the home beautifully. She moved fast, which was impressive... until I realized that staging and speed don't mean much if your actual selling strategy is a disaster. Here's where things went downhill: 1. The Staging Fairy Tale Renee was so passionate about staging, comparing it to dating--because, apparently, selling a house is just like putting on makeup and getting your hair done. And yet, after all that effort, staging did absolutely nothing to help my home sell faster or at a better price. Next time, I'll skip the expensive "makeover" and just hire a realtor who doesn't charge double the commission for theatrics. 2. A Pricing Strategy That Was a Masterclass in Excuses I told Renee I wanted to sell quickly. Her brilliant plan? List high, get no offers, and then blame external factors. First, we were overpriced. Then came a long list of excuses--holiday season, LA fires, global warming, the alignment of the stars... you name it. The result? Six painful price cuts and a house sitting vacant for six months. If I had known this was the strategy, I would have just lit $60K on fire and saved myself the stress. 3. Negotiation? What's That? A realtor's job is to advocate for their client. Renee's approach? Pass messages back and forth like an unpaid intern and let me handle the tough decisions. Even after I directly told her I expected her to negotiate on my behalf, she remained clueless and simply relayed whatever the buyer said, placing all the pressure on me. The Contingency Debacle: One offer included a sale contingency. Renee assured me this was a great offer because the buyer was on a tight timeline. When I told her I was uncomfortable with the contingency, she didn't even know we could negotiate the timeframe. Later, she blamed me for not countering--because, apparently, I'm supposed to be the expert here. The Lowball Circus: When a buyer lowballed me, Renee had no guidance on whether I should counter or by how much. She was more eager to close the deal than to fight for my best interest. We finally accepted the offer and made it crystal clear that no additional repairs would be accommodated. And yet--shockingly--the buyer came back with repair requests. Did Renee stand her ground? Nope. She simply relayed the request, wiped her hands clean, and said, "You can totally decline it." Final Verdict If you're looking for someone to stage your home and send messages back and forth while you handle all the hard decisions yourself, Renee is your person! But if you expect a realtor who will actually negotiate, strategize, and fight for your best interest--I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

A Realtor Who Truly Knows Her Craft…read more Selling a home can be stressful, but working with Renee made the process much easier to navigate. From the very beginning, she was well-prepared, professional, and responsive. She has a real talent for presenting a home in the best possible light--her staging and photography made the property stand out online and brought in steady interest. What impressed me most, though, was her ability to keep everything organized and moving. Real estate transactions involve so many moving parts, but she kept communication clear and timely so I never felt left in the dark. Whenever questions came up, she provided thoughtful guidance and practical options, which helped me feel confident in making decisions. While every market has its challenges, Renee always maintained a positive, solutions-oriented mindset. She was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting the best outcome possible. At the end of the day, I felt supported throughout the entire process, and I truly appreciated her dedication. I would recommend Renee to anyone who values professionalism, attention to detail, and an agent who treats her clients with respect and care.
