My favorite restaurant at my favorite winery! Our family has been members of Ponte for the past ten years. We frequently come here to pick up our wine orders but also to dine at their restaurant. You can have reservations, call in, or stand by and wait on their waitlist. They only have outdoor seating and fans with mist for the heat during the summertime. During our visit with our friends, Ramon was our server. Not only was he humorous and silly, he was very professional and accommodated towards our needs. He was very communicative and quick, too! Our friends and I had two bottles of wine with a charcuterie board, salmon sandwich, mussels, and a flatbread. My absolute favorite are their mussels!! It comes with this amazing sauce. Probably one of the best winery restaurants among the handful of wineries I've visited in Temecula. I love the outdoor seating and how it has a beautiful view of the veranda, the shades and gazebo are also beautiful. The food is delicious, the menu always changes every season which is nice. While in Temecula touring wedding venues, we had lunch at The Restaurant at Ponte and were amazed by the fresh ingredients and great dishes we had. This is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner while out having wine in the area. The seating is outdoors but in a covered area. Our favorites were the salads, the Caesar was so good and the crispy parm was a great topping on each bite! The calamari was one of the best calamari dishes I have ever had, the jalapeño lime aioli was to die for. The burger was cooked perfectly and topped with a delicious smoked bacon and crispy onions. I've had this restaurant bookmarked for a while now but not living in the area makes it hard to visit. But we finally went back to Temecula and had the chance to go to Ponte for a birthday dinner. They have a pretty outdoor patio which looks into the vineyards. Unfortunately the night we went it was raining so the patio was covered. Service was great, staff was very friendly and attentive. Our waitress was kind enough to walk me through the different wines they offer. I ordered the ciopinno which had shrimp, scallops, clams and fish inside. Overall it was good but the curry overpowered the flavor. The truffle pizza was good but not enough truffle flavor. I think the bolognese was the best dish out of everything. The service here is phenomenal from the moment you arrive until you leave. The staff really makes you feel taken care of the entire time. The food was great, and the drinks were just as good. My wife especially loved this place for the food--we're not huge wine tasting people, but we still enjoyed having a nice glass of wine with our meal. As wine club members, we always plan to have lunch here when we pick up our wine. We have never been disappointed! The menu changes seasonally, and the food is always delicious! If you have a purse, they bring a basket for you to put it in by your table so it doesn't sit on the ground. Club members also get an amuse bouche to start the meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, and he manager stopped by every table to be sure that we were happy. I won't feature any item, because we've never had anything that wasn't delicious. Took some friends visiting the Temecula wine country to lunch at Ponte winery. Besides the Beautiful garden areas, they have an excellent restaurant with quality food at reasonable prices. In the pictures below, I included the autumn day menu for the content of each dish as well as the four entrées we ordered. Everyone graded them as an A for presentation, taste, value. I had the burger with sweet potato fries, and it was an A+. The service was excellent and responsive. The patio dining allowed us to enjoy a perfect day in the Temecula wine District. Fried to perfection. Crispy and tender at the same time. A difficult task hard to mastered when you are frying seafood. Teresa my server was fenomenal!! Omg!! She is the best!! She knows when to approach you and ask the right questions. I will say she is 100/10. I have dined at other places and she is amazing. Recommendation: ask for the house aoli with siracha and salt and pepper on the side. Is worth it. I know they can't cater to specific community, but this is your savior if you like spicy and well seasoned aoli. The entree was pan seared sea bass. It was perfectly done and well seasoned. Slightly crust outside, flaky and moist inside. The fish was laying on bed of pan seared carrots, creamy risotto with puree peas. The puree peas were light in texture and flavorful. It contrasted with the risotto and fish. The dessert was matcha cheesecake with coffee. The matcha cheesecake originally comes with some coconut flakes , but they made a substitution since I can't have it. This was a recommendation from my server. We ordered calamari for appetizer then summer salad with goat cheese, almonds, star fruit, kiwi, tomatoes and micro greens with balsamic dressing, and shrimp and zucchini pizza. The calamari was crunchy, crispy that came with tomato and some skirt of cilantro dressing. Really good. Sumer salad was fresh and just right for sharing. We also shared the shrimp and zucchini pizza, which was surprisingly pretty good as well. First time trying this type of pizza. Customer service was great. Our server was helpful and attentive. The complimentary cheese bread was a hit. It was soft and tasty with pesto and basil. Will definitely return when the season cools off. The environment was very nice, and the hostesses were cordial and welcoming. Unfortunately, the lunch and service fell short of expectations. Once our food was dropped off, our waiter seemed to ignore our table. We needed salt and pepper, an extra side of horseradish, and a few other items, but by the time he returned, our food was already becoming lukewarm--especially disappointing since it wasn't very hot when it was first served. As a group, we also agreed that the dishes were surprisingly bland. The seafood pasta lacked depth of flavor and could have benefited from more garlic. The halibut was extremely lacking in seasoning, the meat in the sandwich was dry, and the horseradish had absolutely no kick whatsoever. Ironically, the best thing we were served was the green condiment that came with the bread. Given the small portion sizes, we expected the dishes to be bold and flavorful, especially considering the inflated prices. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Overall, it was a truly disappointing meal, made even more unfortunate since we were celebrating a birthday and Christmas dinner with family. read more

Rather, she was all alone, with six tables and over thirty guests. Mind you, this was on a Friday night, in your Members Tent!! Everyone had reservations and therefore, you knew ahead of time how busy it was going be. Shame on you! The back of the house made up for the front of the house. We had dinner on the patio. The setting is lovely with a light breeze and live music. The menu has a wide selection of proteins, pasta and pizzas. The kids menu is great for families. Our server was friendly, but the only time we saw her was when we ordered and after we finished our meal. We were essentially neglected during our meal. No one refilled water glasses or checked in on us. We were hoping for a glass of wine with dinner but we never had a chance to order. Imagine not being able to get wine at a winery! It's a nice restaurant at a beautiful Winery. We were here to celebrate a family member's birthday. Things started a little slow as they were very busy and short staffed. Things smoothed out after 15 or 20 minutes. Our friendly waiter has been here for many years and this was his last day, as he was leaving to be with his family in Brazil. Menu was still their "Winter" menu as I guess their Spring menu is still in the works. I opted for the Halibut and ordered it blackened. We also shared a Winter salad.
