THE Retro fix II turbo is THE best party/event space in the Bay Area. First off parking is easy peasy lots of parking lots for the late attendees but I got there early to get front side street parking easy to unload balloons and food/bevs. Rudy is by far the most chill/elite party host there is.. always there to help with anything and everything. bathrooms are clean and easy to access same floor. ADA access for my uncle in a wheelchair. This is the second year we had my son's birthday party here. The appreciation to all the staff for all their patience and guidance. my son got presents there on the spot and had his friends bring extra money if they wanted to buy anything and everything the sold anime books, characters, clothes, dvds, games and more. My son said " this is all my friends dream" the value of what we had was above and beyond expectations as always. thank you for all making Thiagos birthday special!!!

First Timers for my family and I. Lots of video game options to play(for free), video games and accessories to purchase, food to purchase from downstairs. My kids LOVE this place. They said it was better than Chuck E Cheese, Dave & Busters, or Boomers. There are family days and times. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. After a certain time, 7pm it opens up to 21 and over. Definitely a place to just hang out and play games. Comfortable and positive environment. There is street metered parking.

Lots of mystery bags to purchase

What a cool video game, anime, and toy store. Not only was this store fun, but it was also interactive - customers could play classic video games for free in the store. There were also many nostalgic items from the days when Nintendo and Super Nintendo were the highlights of my days when I was a kid. But at the same time, this store also offered new games and anime. They was a lot of cool figurines on display to admire. I was hoping to see more Demon Slayer items but only managed to find a few, but that was fine. My cousins and I had fun here and would visit this store again in the future if we're in the area.

This place is cool!!! Came in with the kids cashed in 20bucks for quarters and let the kids play away. We were there for the video games then ventured upstairs to see the retro toys, computer stations, tables to play cars games. I enjoyed it. I thought some of the games was a bit pricey to play!!! I would come back again with my adult friends for beer and video games.

    Game collection

Second visit to this awesome hidden gem in downtown Campbell! First time I got myself a used 3ds and this time, I dropped off some old consoles I had lying around just collecting dust. They do an inspection followed by a play test of everything before finalizing the deal (walked out with $200). Sure I could have done this online through some random used market but I figured why not support local businesses. While you wait, you can browse their amazing collection of used games, consoles, anime figures and goods! The guy also let me chill in their game lounge while he worked and played some PS5. All in all, great place and definitely will be back!

Great little spot. Loud music, areas to reserve and play. Had what I needed at a slightly better price than elsewhere :)

Poor service and expensive prices. Head off to Cartridge Cartel or The Gameshop Downstairs instead

Ask the Community - The Retro Fix II TURBO

Do you guys fix powerA xbox controllers?

We do not offer any repair services unfortunately.

Do you guys buy gaming consoles?

We purchase most quality gaming consoles and games from the 80s through the early 2000s as well as anime related goods from these eras as well. Stop in during business hours and we can assist you directly. Thank you.

Hello, I just found 2 of my old consoles, gameboy advance and gave it advance sp one turns on and the other doesn't. Do you all by chance repair them?

Hello. We don't do much repair work anymore but this might be a simple battery issue that we can help with. Stop in during business hours and we can assist. Thank you.

I was wondering what exactly can be sold here? And if it were games, would they need to be in the original box?

Video games and anime related items. Original boxes aren't required but add to the value.

Do they have Amiibo or other type of Nintendo Figurine?

Yes we do. Amiibos and anime collectibles as well as statues.

Employees are helpful and knowledgeable even when there's an influx of customers. Trades are done quickly and accurately. Good value on single cards and packs for the most part! Definitely check and do your research to make sure you're getting a good deal. A lot of the employees are better at customer service than a lot of card shops in the Bay Area. Would love to see more Japanese sealed product available too! A variety of different TCGs available along with accessories and merch! When I first walked in, the box was clearly marked at $359.99. I went to the counter, and to be fair, the employee was helpful and gave me a reasonable offer of $365 in store credit, which I agreed to. No issues there. But when we walked over to grab the hobby box, the price had suddenly jumped to $510.99. That's a huge difference, and it happened while I was literally in the store. When I pointed it out, I was told they were "updating prices" and that they could only honor the original price if I had taken a picture of it. That's not how you run a business. Changing prices during store hours--especially while a customer is actively making a purchase--is unprofessional and unfair. Expecting customers to take pictures of price tags just in case they change minutes later is ridiculous. I understand prices fluctuate, especially in collectibles, but updates like that should be handled before opening or after closing--not in the middle of a transaction. This experience left a bad impression, and I'd be cautious about doing business here again.

Brought in my old GBA SP which had a busted screen, I've watched videos on how to fix it, but wanted to also swap out the shell. So after countless videos of people saying the trickest part is the hinges, I figured it was best left for the professionals. I also wanted to mod the GBA SP charging port to a USB-C but with Eli's insight, replacing the screen with an IPS and upgrade to USB-C it would probably be better to just buy an entirely new Modded GBA SP. So I just stuck with the shell swap and new IPS screen. We ordered the parts from Ebay as he showed me what was available on 3/28/2026 and called me 4/9/2026 to let me know it was ready for pick up so roughly a 3 week turn around since he had to wait for the parts to be delivered. Finally had it back in my hands and it was beautiful, 15 settings on the brightness and it opened and close with those satisfying clicks the OEM came in. Couldn't be happier, I will say the buttons do rotate when I'm gaming a little too hard, but nothing like rotating them back into their place fixes it. As for the shop itself, BEAUTIFULY CLEAN, it's spotless and they really make this place feel like gamer heaven. All the games in the store were in their respective locations and you had no issues finding what you wanted. (Unless it was in a container with no label)

They're selling some of their games at both locations for 2x eBay prices. The games I brought in can be found used online (GameStop and eBay) for a total of $150+. Not worth your time if you're looking for a fair deal on either a trade or even just a regular purchase.

As an action figure collector this store consistently stood out. While the selection was not massive there was always variety and more often than not I would find something I was actually looking for. Sometimes the hardest to find figure was just sitting there on the peg waiting for me. I cannot say the same for the other nearby locations. Fun fact I live right across from the GameStop at Great Mall. The staff there is friendly and they almost never have anything in stock. I might get lucky two or three times a year. Because of that I would gladly make the drive to Saratoga instead. The staff here was always friendly and the store had that slightly overstocked feel that collectors appreciate. It may not have had the latest and greatest every time but there was always something worth browsing. They were short staffed and the line was really long but the workers and the owner were still very positive and doing the best they could. This GameStop is a small store but my daughter did find something that she really wanted. She is into Fallout (yeah I know it's not a kid's game), and she found a Fallout lunch box. We hadn't seen anything like it before. They also had a lot of POP figures and we were looking for a Fallout POP but couldn't find one. We ask the worker and he said that there were none. My daughter was happy with the lunch box. I hope that this GameStop stays in business. The workers work really hard and it's really hard for businesses like this to stay because of all the online competition.
