Lack of shade is sadly still an issue at Owen with only shade over the baby pool (which my baby hates) We only swam for about 20 minutes because I got the heebies about the sun. There are two diving boards here and a slide that ends in the pool. It was packed and there was alot of tweens in bikinis gushing over boys wandering around - we sat on our towel in the shade and listened to a 10 min conversation about how hot Matthew is, and whether she should change her bikini incase Matthew saw her tan lines (in case you were wondering Matthew was completely oblivous of any of this and was just swimming) The staff are friendly and the price is better than our local pool. I just wish they both had shade!

These gardens were absolutely gorgeous, but in a way there was much more to this place than just…read morethe gardens. Okay, the bridge itself was pretty cool, but in many cases this was one of those parks that I generally missed the other times I have visited Burra. Yet, as a park it was pretty nice. There was a rather large, and quite lovely, lake, and the facilities were pretty good as well. However, the thing that stood out the most for me here were the gardens, they were magnificent.
