Several years ago we found ourselves needing to find a new church home. After visiting churches for…read moremonths we were about to give up hope, and then we found New Life Christian Church (formerly Bella Vista Christian Church). We knew from the first visit that this was the place God wanted us to be in. What really sealed the deal for us was the church's unwavering stance on preaching the Gospel and not conforming to worldly views. As a father, is it so comforting knowing my family is being taught the true words of Christ. While the church is growing in size, with the multiple services it still has the personal feel - and there are many opportunities to jump in and feel as connected as you want to be. Finally, the Youth program is AMAZING. I have 2 teenage daughters who have been very involved with the youth group, and it has really helped to shape their lives. Sure there are lots of fun trips and outings, but most importantly each week there is a strong lesson delivered to the students followed by small group discussions to take a deeper dive into the subject matter. If you are in the same boat we were in and looking for a new Church, please put this one on your list to visit. If you have children you want to get plugged into an active and thriving youth program, please have them come visit!

I went to an adult group they had a few times while visiting that was spiritually nourishing. I have had some bad experiences with a staff member being overtly rude then suddenly changing attitudes finding out I worked in television. Also, there was a young adult group leader that I'm hoping has matured since I attended the group. That group was extremely elementary for being for adults living in a world facing real problems. Things happen as churches grow larger and it becomes harder to keep up with these things. I do think God's hand is over Cross Church and blessing it. I hope they continue to grow but more importantly are able to keep the community warmly welcomed from all walks of life leading to Jesus and the bad attitudes of the set few are changed so no one is turned away.

While in service, there was a smoke/fog of some kind, that burned my eyes. The service was strongly about "look at me" performance,with cameras zooming in on "performers" and not about worshiping our God. Very disappointed.

Last year, I knew there was something I was still missing, there had to be more than just going to church. I've always heard of having a personal relationship with Jesus but never had it. I thought with all of my past and iniquities that God wouldn't want me. Even though i prayed, read my bible every once in a while and did bible studies, I never felt the presence of God in my life. I watched TPC messages online, attended service, was welcomed with open arms and hand shakes. Someone came up to me and said let's meet and study what the Bible says. We met the next day and I had my eyes and mind immediately opened up to what the word says about my salvation, Acts 2:38. I accepted that verse as it was written, I didn't need anymore explanation and i immediately got to work. My mentor gave me verses, not a study, on repentance, how to repent and forgiveness. I read and understood and listened. I got on my hands, knees and face and asked for forgiveness. I asked God for forgiveness and heard Him say "yes Chris, I forgive you" first time I've ever heard God speak to me. I was beyond excited and told my mentor and asked him when I could get baptized, I was baptized later that day. TPC is real, authentic and truly interested in your salvation and having a relationship with Jesus. My life has changed for the better and I am so thankful and so blessed. You can tell the vitality of a parish by looking at confession times offered. Sat. 8-9. And…read more Thursday 5-6:30. A parish this size should have confession offered EVERY day!! The times are also very inconvenient for those who work or have families. You have several priests. PLEASE offer more confession times. We need it more than ever. The parishners are forced to go to other churches because you aren't taking care of your own.

I wasn't able to go, to my local church so I decided to go here…read more After some time of Not hearing the Novus Ordo and just hearing Mass in The Extraordinary Form, it seemed diluted. The priest was late and the whole service seemed like he didn't want to be there really, the way he moved and was performing the Mass seemed lazy and sloppy. We all have one of those day, I pray he's better if something happened but if not, we didn't come late so why put that burden on us? All in all this statue really caught my Eye and freaked me out for a minute. Idk what symbolism behind it or who it is, they didn't have a description so I assume it's Jesus...?

The message emphasises Heaven on earth, within in us now, not as some far-removed concept. I would encourage folks to listen to Stan's sermons online. However, if you attend in person, please be aware a few in the congregation tend to chat right through the entire sermon with their neighbors, or speak loudly in tongues during songs, making it difficult for some to focus on a personal spiritual experience, or Stan's amazing message. If you enjoy that sort of thing, well, this is the place for you. Personally, I'm with 1 Corinthians 14:28 on this one.
