Came here for the first time and started off with some artichoke dip, table side bread and a potato soup. The potato soup was easily the best appetizer. It was very creamy and there's bits and pieces of soft potato within the soup. The artichoke dip was just okay - wished the table side bread and the bread that came with it was hot and fresh (was a bit stale). For the entree I got a prime rib medium well and I will say it's probably the best thick cut piece of prime rib I've gotten in a while. So much meat on it and well worth it! It came with a sauce and I asked for horse radish as well. The vegetables on the side were nothing special but the rice was deliciously seasoned. The waitress recommended a strawberry martini and while you may think it might be very alcoholic tasting, it actually just tasted like strawberry lemonade! Lastly, we got crème brûlée and it was very creamy and not too sweet. We were also celebrating a birthday so they brought out a slice of carrot cake for the birthday guest. This carrot cake was DELICIOUS. I wish it was on the menu in general! Our waitress took great care of us and got us everything we needed. Our food came out within ten minutes. When we got in it took 20 minutes for drinks and another 10 for one appetizer, the bread and honey covered butter was delicious. My husband ordered the 18oz rib eye steak, he asked it to be cooked medium, he got medium well, but the cut was horrible for the 40-plus dollars we paid. I ordered the chicken entree that came with broccolini and potatoes, my broccolini hard and stale. My chicken was way overcooked and hard with hardly any flavor. The brussel sprouts we ordered came with thick bacon pieces and herbs, this item was good. The house salads we ordered were good as well, served in a cold bowl. We never got a refill for our drinks. Atmosphere is ambient. First course after appetizers (if you order any) is usually soup or salad, depending on your order. They offer freshly ground pepper, which is always nice. When the main course arrives you may already be full. Steaks are cooked the way you order and the sides are delicious. Staff is pleasant and great at handling requests. We also ordered the baked potatoes skins which were filling and could have been a meal on their own. My husband ordered the special of the day: For $30, a 16 oz. rib eye steak, baked potato, broccoli, green salad, and dinner roll. In return he received back $20 in casino play. His steak was really good, cooked medium rare as requested, and the rolls were warm and soft with sweet butter. I ordered the barbecued salmon, rice pilaf, green beans, salad, and dinner roll. I loved all of it. The salmon was wonderful, moist, flavorful, with a tasty bbq sauce drizzled on top. I took half of my meal home in a to-go box. The rolls were warm and fluffy with a hint of sweetness. The steaks were hand cut and had an amazing amount of flavor.
