We've driven by this bakery a bunch of times and it's been closed (closed Sundays and Mondays) so we were happy to see that this time it was open. Plus they had delicious, scrumptious, sweet donuts today, and man it is 500 times better than Dunkin and 1000 times better than Krispy Kreme. It's not very big on the inside and there's no seating inside or outside but plenty of delicious baked goods, meats, and cheese, as well as sodas, juices, and other beverages to choose from. Good coffee, good breakfast sandwich and nice spot to sit while waiting for the coffee. Definitely a little wait for that coffee as the person who was to take more order was making multiple coffees before me so it took some time. Most times that slower pace is most welcome and is what is great about Garrett County. This day I was trying to get my caffeine fix on the way to meetings 3 hours away in metro Washington, DC. Definitely loved reading the "Why our town is called Accident" sign while I was waiting for the coffee. Fun story of local history. read more

Came mostly for donuts...in a Tuesday, which sadly is a mistake; they only have donuts W/F/S. Casselmans is also only making weekend donuts, and Deep Creek Donuts is only open on weekends. Am I crazy to think maybe someone should provide donuts earlier in the week?? Anyway, got a peanut butter iced bar cookie and a loaf of bread. Both were above average, but I'm not sure if they were good enough to get me back. read more

We stopped for breakfast. Baking is their main forte but they do have a fast casual breakfast option with no wait service. They bring it to your table, coffee is self service and a nice huge ice water dispenser. The breakfast was good. Standard fare. Fresh and tasty. I prefer table service myself. Good value for your money. read more

$12 for a dozen homemade glazed donuts similar to how my mom made them. These were a bit bigger than my mom's and a little less dense. They just expanded the menu and have a nice new location as well read more

Awesome bakery with an old school vibe. I visited here while strolling through the cute small town of Accident looking for souvenirs and shops. I am so glad I did! The store is pretty small but packed with a ton of good stuff! First, they have a nice stock of Grandma's Pantry canned goods (which is a very popular local company with some delicious canned foods and spreads). They also stock local Maryland maple syrup in several sized bottles. They have a small cooler of pre-made sandwiches and salads, as well as grab & go items. They also have some homemade dressings and I snagged 'Rachel's homemade dressing' - a bit sweet but yummy! For sweets, they had homemade granola, cookies, pies, cakes, and lots of cookies! They have a deli case with meats and cheeses, and also offer a lunch menu which uses those infredients on their sandwiches and paninis! The special of the week was a BBQ meatball hoagie so they must also have a foodie back in the kitchen whipping up awesome lunches! I grabbed a ton of the canned goods as souvenirs for friends, family, and my cat sitter. We LOVED the snickerdoodles and the granola!! I also grabbed a fresh loaf of bread (to die for- I forgot what 'real' bread tastes like) and the Cajun Crab Dip - YUM! It is made with imitation crab but honestly that was the perfect choice for this salad/dip! The employees were super friendly and helpful- they kind of giggled because I bought about 1/4 of the canned goods on the shelves and tons of bakery items but everything just looked so good and fresh I couldn't pass them up! Stopped by this gem to take a peek at what they were offering. Super cute interior and a wide variety of items to choose from. Picked up a loaf of freshly baked banana bread and one of pumpkin bread. Also picked up a bag of mini pretzel bites and a slice of homemade apple pie. There is a deli, interior dining area as well as tons of other bakery options to choose from. Do yourself a favor and stop by the rolling pin bakery if you are in the area. They have plenty of parking, and so many options inside. Their fresh oatmeal bread was the fluffiest most delightful thing I've ever head. They have great soup options, hot coffee, and a made to order lunch menu. Inside is a small but cute goods store. read more

We passed this place on our way out of Deep Creek lake and will make it a tradition from here on out! The food is cooked but a bunch of cute Amish people including a sweet old grandmother that, upon seeing, I knew we were in good hands. The bread made the delicious paninis and sandwiches even better and though I did not get to indulge in the sweets as I am watching my figure, they looked absolutely to die for. We will absolutely be coming back and I strongly recommend for anyone in the area to stop by! read more

Delicious deli sandwiches and friendly service! We couldn't help but buy some yummy baked goods too. Cut out sugar cookies with icing, chocolate chip chocolate mouse pie, a loaf of freshly baked bread...so good!
