Skyler came by and looked at my job and gave me a straight forward honest assessment of what condition my roof was in. I originally wanted only the AC roof replaced and while looking at that, he noticed several parts of the roof were almost at the end of life. Although there was probably a year or more still left on the life, I decided to go ahead and get the re-roof done. He was very polite, honest and stated that he could do whatever needed to be done when they get into the job. He quoted me a price that was 2 thousand dollars more than my best estimates, but he stated that he would do whatever needed to be done when started. There turned out to be more rotten wood due to an ac leak a few years ago so there was more plywood needing replacement. He went and got all the extra wood and replaced it without any hassles. The previous roofers would not commit to that and I was told that any additional supplies would be more money. Skyler stayed in touch with me all through the process and communicated whatever issues were found, and once again was all inclusive i the estimate. they also replaced an additional 20 feet of facia boards that were not rotten, but warped, added additional roof tiles that were damaged, and blended the non matching tiles to my roof and left me additional for future in case they are needed. One more thing I especially liked was that the crew were very fast and knowledgeable on the roofing system I have. my wife was upset though that they made a very big mess all around the house with debris and dust and the kitchen was very dirty from the skylight being removed above the kitchen while blowing dust from roof. I would have expected this, but my wife is a clean freak so I don't think was an issue. After the job was done, the area was cleaned, hosed, and all debris was removed and the roof looks great. I would highly recommend them for more work and although they are new and not have many reviews here, I would not be discouraged by that as i said, they did a great job with everything. I waited to post this review until after the rain to see how it would perform. After all the wind and rain, there was not a single issue. All water drained, and the roof performed perfectly.

We just did our complete roof replacement at our primary residence in Ahwatukee phoenix area. Both brother John and Mike are very courteous, friendly and sincere. They do not try to over sell anything to me like most other roofing company i previously tried to get quotes from. A standard double layer of G40 underlayment's option is what was proposed and they told me should will last for a while. My house which is originally a 1993 built and was still with the original roof of single layer underlayment, that lasted pretty good without any leak or anything for more that 30 years in this Phoenix heat so i was also not planning on putting anything beyond standard materials and i think no one should requiring anything more than that these days even big roofing company will try to sell you various additional upgrade materials like gold diamond platinum etc. to force you to pay more John was also was able to put me into schedule immediately after initial visit which is also a big difference from the so called big roofing companies who claims they have waiting on 2 to 3 months! The crews were fantastic and did a great job. The whole replacement work took exactly 3 days as promised and the crews worked pretty much all 3 days from 7AM to almost 6PM. There were few misc. items remaining that Mike with a small team took care of on day 4 morning which was also a weekend but it was done in time and without any anxiety. The house perimeter area was cleaned everyday after work by the crew. The entire roof underlayment replacement and other upgrades and details were also done beautifully without any surprise. Both brothers were immensely nice, quick and responsive in answering my texts during the time the crew worked on the roof which was very relaxing and also a nice experience for me as a home owner. I previously had to chase some of the general contractors when they worked on other renovations of the house and and most cases the response time from them was random or late or never. I check obviously for plenty of good reviews. I'm looking for professionalism, timeliness, pride in workmanship, and just overall customer satisfaction. L and R past the the reviews. Plenty of people seem satisfied. The next thing is, I check their website if they have one. Most businesses do now have some kind of online presence. Theirs was very smooth and easy to navigate. I requested a quote online, and in about 24 hours got a response. The owner, Luis, came out, climbed the roof, gave me a rundown of what to expect, should I use their services, and told me they would not contact me again or try to pressure me. They certainly followed through on that. They did send a quote. Their website makes it very easy to accept the quote and has finance options. Their contract is laid out very straightforward, full disclosure. Nothing hidden. In this online business world, where people expect more online transactional capability, you just expect businesses to offer that. But many don't, particularly in the contracting world. So, anyone who is attentive to making it easy to transact online is very focused on their business, in my experience. It's just another sign of professionalism and tells me that probably they will also be attentive during the actual construction process. That's just my general experience. It does not always hold true. But in this case, it did. After the HOA approval, I decided to use them for the roof replacement. Costs were in line with about what everyone else is charging. I paid the 50% down, and got a call from Victor the foreman to schedule replacement. They were very accommodating and got busy. There was a minor hiccup, but not their fault. The supplier delivered the wrong tiles. I'm sure that caused a bit of stress for Victor, because they have plenty of jobs scheduled. Anyway, the day after the day they were supposed to do the work, the new tiles were delivered. And then the following Monday, the tiles were loaded onto the roof. The next day they were laid and completed at the same day. I'm no roofing expert, but have some common sense. I climbed the roof before they laid the tiles just to check out their work. All the flashings were very nicely placed. Everything seemed to be high-quality. The underlayment was very nicely laid. And, each day they cleaned up pretty well. When the work was completed, they cleaned up better than I had the yard cleaned up. Victor very professional. If I need any maintenance on the roof, I definitely would consider L & R again. However, I suspect the roof will out last me and my wife.
