Came here on Valentines day hoping for a romantic dinner not realizing it was a pre-fix menu with nothing we wanted to try. We sat by the bar and enjoyed the cocktail while listening to a young man playing the piano. We liked the ambiance and overall vibe of the restaurant. We look forward to coming back on a regular day to try the food.

Wow, from the warm, modern interior and cozy atmosphere/music/lighting, to the knowledgeable and attentive service to the beautifully plated and delicious food we had an amazing experience at this hidden neighborhood gem! Had a bunch of appetizers along with the Salmon and Chicken main courses and Boba Flan and Tres Leches desserts - everything was unique, spot on flavorwise and you can taste the love in each dish! Looking forward to returning to try the rest of the menu soon!

It was aight - my bf and I also came in after the Justin Timberlake concert was canceled so there's that. *wah* the staff is very friendly and attentive. The inside is sleek, modern and elegant. I tried a mezcal cocktail which was delicious. The cavatelli was delectable but a little underdone and salty. The trout was delicious - huge portion and interesting presentation with the head on. The crisp, more fried portions I found delicious along with the marinated veggies on top. Was a bit sad the waitress had said there was only one halibut left and someone else ordered it right before us. Also the chocolate dessert wasn't able to be prepared to go, however the meal was overall tasty and presented well. Loved the background music and ambience. Seems like perfect spot to grab dinner or hang especially if you live locally or are staying at the adjacent hotel. :)

First time for lunch. Started with lovely glass of white wine. I decided to have two appetizers. The first was the mushroom dumplings and followed with tuna tartare. Enjoyed them both. I always feel comfortable eating alone at this establishment. Everyone is so professional.

Jersey City finally has NYC-caliber cuisine thanks to Roxy. Came here on a Saturday for cocktails and apps and was really happy with our experience. The atmosphere is chic but not stuffy. We sat inside but will try the sidewalk tables next time. We ordered glazed carrots that were nicely cooked and seasons as well as the burrata, which was tasty with a stunning presentation. Mushroom dumplings were delicate and a nice option for non-meat eaters in my group. Cocktails were creative and wide-ranging. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, the food and drink felt as refined as some of Manhattan's nicer restaurants but at a fraction of the price (and a much shorter commute for Jersey folk!)

Phenomenal experience! Went with two friends, and while they didn't have any walk in tables available we sat at the bar which was great because the bartender was really friendly. The menu is definitely smaller, but it changes often. Everything we ordered was fresh and had so much flavor. There was a ricotta & duck stuffed ravioli as an appetizer, the octopus was really tender and the Cavetelli pasta was so unique - it was almost in a Marsala type sauce with mushrooms? 10s across the board! Huge drink menu as well, and the inside is super cute. Can't wait to go back!

I love coming here for date night! Amazing cocktails and delicious food. The waitress was kind and knowledgeable. She even brought water out for our pups since we dined outside with them.

Our first time here was a great experience. Our server had extensive menu knowledge and was very personable. Our party of 5 had plenty of space and we all enjoyed our food and drinks. The menu is "French Asian fusion." This is a nice quiet spot to catch up with friends and the food leaves you feeling satisfied, not stuffed.

My husband and I are huge fans of Corto in JC heights so when we heard Chef Rachel from Corto was mostly at the Roxy, we had to stop by- as expected, it did not disappoint! We got plenty of apps to start. The scallion pancake was unique with a tangy and lemony sauce. The mushroom dumplings had a great umami. I also ordered the lavender lemonade as a mocktail and it was not too sweet and super refreshing- and the price was great at only $7. My husband loved the mussels which had a unique miso butter sauce. We also shared the Peruvian chicken which was really flavorful- garlic rice and green sauce that came with it were delicious. The menu seems to change regularly so we will absolutely be coming here more often!

I was excited to try this place right in my neighborhood, just a couple blocks away. Very cute place, decorated nicely and good lighting. Unfortunately, they had the door open and A/C off at the time, which was uncomfortable while dining. The portions are too small and the menu is too small. I felt personally victimized when they brought out the "skewers" and it was a single piece of meat with two skewers in it. No steak knife. The waitress was sweet and knew just about everything about the menu. Although, she neglected to tell me that the oysters would be pre-dressed with the sauce. The octopus was ok. The star here is the chicken. The chicken on its own earned a star from me. Good portion, great flavor and the skin cracker on too was chefs kiss.

This is the best restaurant in Hudson County. Their menu is creative, American cuisine with nods to French recipes and Asian flavors. Hard to find a better combination of cuisines imo. We had mussels and sardine toast to start- the mussel sauce was both smoky and sweet but not overpowering. I'm dreaming about it now, days later. For mains we both had the duck entrees- the Pithivier and the seared breast. Duck breast is one of those things I have to order if it's on the menu, and their's is one of the best I've ever had, internationally. It was so incredibly tender and flavorful. Absolutely gorgeous interior decor, can't wait to go back!

Was very excited to try a new place close to work. Bar area looks bright and exciting but the dining room was a bit too dull for me. Seating is very close. I'm a wide bottom girl and had difficulty getting in and out. Service was on point. But timing out of the kitchen was off. Cocktails were delicious and there were a good variety of exotic options. Ordered the liver parfait which was served with two whole pieces of bread absolutely delicious. I ordered the halibut which was served cold and raw in the center, but yet it had an excellent crusty sear on top. Our waitress immediately brought it back into the kitchen and was told they would make me a brand new one. My friend ordered the pork chop , she was surprised to see it was off the bone and pre-sliced making it a bit dry. It came whole collared green leaves with kimchi. We ordered the duck potatoes as a side dish as my halibut only came with four cockles. The potatoes were served immediately after our appetizer and were cold by the time our dinner arrived. They want ice cold by the time I got my second halibut. The highlight of the night was the strawberry rhubarb pie absolutely fantastic. Best thing I ate all night. The manager brought us an after dinner drink apologizing for the fish. I found the portions to be quite small for the price they were charging. I'll give it one more try in a month or so. Satis or 87 Sussex are a better option.

Fantastic! I recently visited Corto and as soon as I heard Roxy was its sister, I had to go, I was not disappointed! They nail the balance of flavors in every dish. Plating is beautiful. Nothing is too much or too little. Cocktails are perfectly crafted. Great all around! Highly recommend.

We were politely informed that we'd have to leave before the match was even over. I want to be very clear that this is not a reflection of the staff. Our servers, hosts, and bartenders were wonderful. They rushed our food and drink orders in before the kitchen and bar closed, checked on us throughout the evening, and handled an awkward situation with professionalism and kindness. They did everything they could within the limitations they were given. This falls on management and ownership. If you're going to actively advertise your restaurant as a destination to watch World Cup matches, your hours should actually allow people to... watch the World Cup matches. Otherwise, it feels misleading. Soccer games don't end at halftime, and anyone planning these promotions should know that. The weather was absolutely ideal -- warm enough to enjoy being outside but still crisp, with very little humidity. Basically, rooftop weather perfection. The biggest draw here is, without question, the view. The space itself is beautiful, with a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, but seeing the Manhattan skyline illuminated at night is what makes this place special. It's one of those views that reminds you why people romanticize New York and the surrounding area so much. They offer a full food menu, although it appeared to be available primarily for guests seated indoors. The outdoor area seemed to focus more on drinks and lighter bites. Just know before you go: this is definitely a splurge spot. Everything is priced at a premium, so prepare yourself accordingly. Unfortunately, the service experience got off to a rough start. Both the security staff and hostess came across as unwelcoming and not particularly friendly. Whether they were overwhelmed or simply having an off night, it didn't create the best first impression. My biggest disappointment, however, was the restroom situation. By around 9:30 p.m., the bathroom was already in pretty terrible condition. Honestly, it was hard to believe it had deteriorated that much in just a few hours, and it gave the impression that it may not have been properly cleaned earlier in the day. Overall, Rooftop at Exchange Place delivers exactly what most people come for: spectacular views, a beautiful atmosphere, and an unforgettable skyline backdrop. Just be prepared for premium prices, a potentially lukewarm welcome, and hope that someone has checked on the bathrooms before you arrive.

I had an 8:30 reservation and arrived 30 minutes prior (according to their strict directions via text). I waited in line for an hour and 15 minutes and only received a wristband as the fireworks were going off and after arguing with the manager Jude. He consistently let walk ins in before dealing with any reservations. We also paid 35 dollars in advance. Once I got up to the rooftop, I was informed I would have to wait longer as they were kicking people out of our table. I asked to speak with a manager and again was forced to wait 35 minutes and witnessed a hostess quit mid shift. I do want to note, while waiting in line, a kind security guard informed me that the manager was letting people in who were late to their reservation. For example, a couple came at 8:00 for their 7:15 reservation and were let in. This was a horrible experience and will never be back. I understand the craziness of the 4th of July but this could have been avoided. Do not spend your money here, there are plenty of amazing places in Jersey City. Check out District!
