We returned from a trip expecting to find our painting project completed, but instead came home to a massive mess and workmanship that was well below what we expected from a professional painting contractor. The crew failed to cut in cleanly around edges, leaving sloppy lines throughout the home, and the drywall repairs were poorly executed and did not appear to have been performed by someone experienced in that type of work. Multiple paint cans were also left half-full and open to dry out, unnecessarily wasting material and clearly that paint should have been used to finish the job. Even more concerning was the lack of care and respect shown toward our home and personal property. We found paint drips and splatters on floors, baseboards, wooden stairs, railings, and other surfaces. The crew used our refrigerator, microwave, and bathroom and left these areas dirty, along with trash left behind in the home. They also entered my closed garage without permission and took two of my personal ladders to use for the job. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company due to the lack of supervision, poor craftsmanship, inadequate cleanup, and disregard for our home and personal property. The owner, Sean Flanigan, is prompt, professional, caring and does high-quality work. As a property investor in Florida, Maryland, DC and Virginia it is important that my contractors say what they do and do what they say in the time they say and provide quality products and services and reasonable/competitive pricing and this company hits all the buttons consistently. There is literally nothing they cannot do - and guarantee their work. They were able to take on some very complex issues in my rentals (specialized tiling, complex plumbing issues and electrical as well). I also contract out to them regular maintenance for my properties in Florida as I cannot always be there and are quick to respond and be on-site. They save me tons of headaches and money and even have saved me on property insurance in Florida which is HUGE! I only wish they provided services for my other properties in the DC/MD/VA area as I would contract them there as well. I'm currently considering two more investments in Florida (Melbourne Beach) and they will be the first one I reach out to as both would need remodeling.
