When you enter you are greeted by a person with a friendly smile, she asked which wedding I was attended and she pointed and gave us the directions to which door to go to. The place is beautiful!!! Nightmare! First of all arrived and took almost 20 minutes to Valet. I get inside and the place is beautiful...than here comes the food... the Chicken Marsala was disgusting, my entire table sent it back. The server was sweet and did a great job but the constant folding of our napkins was truly annoying. Every time I put it down she was there to take it and fold it again. Then the desert comes out and was pre served and frozen. Ice cream, whipped cream and even the cherry was frozen solid. To end the night and top it off...when we went ti valet to get our cars they gave us the keys and told us where they were parked so we could go get them ourselves. 2 out of 10 night for me! read more

My issue was the lack of staffing. The people that they had were very pleasant but I felt bad for them because they clearly needed more help. Last Sunday I attended a wedding at The Royal Manor and it was one of the best venues that I've visited. The place itself is beautiful and very clean. I loved the chandelier that was hanging in the lobby. It definitely brought a certain elegance to the space. I also liked the floral arrangements that they displayed throughout the building. This provided the environment with an additional upscale feel. As a welcome from the Bride and Groom, the guests were offered four different types of cocktails (this was a nice touch) The room were the ceremony had taken place was intimate and well decorated. The food from the cocktail hour and reception was exceptional. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is planning on getting married. This venue would be a great choice. read more

I wish I could give them no stars. My fiancé and I booked our wedding reception here and we needed to reschedule due to COVID. They were not willing to work with us and basically told us we can't have any of our money back which was about 75% of the total amount and that we had to sign a whole new contract and pay everything again. It was also extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone whether it be via phone, email and even in person. I recommend staying away from this place at all costs. read more

I had the pleasure of attending one of my best friend's wedding at this place on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. After looking at the other reviews, I'm quite shocked at what others have written about. At least from my point of view this place is a great wedding venue (and I've certainly been to many weddings to know otherwise). First off we'll start with the decor. The place is elegant outside and in. The guest arrive at the front lobby greeted with a glass of champagne and a whole lot of glass on the hanging chandelier and wall lamps! The color scheme is off white with tasteful accents throughout. Then the ceremony room, cocktail hour room, and dinner room continue the elegance. If you want to take a breather there is a nice outside patio/seating area with a small waterfall to look at. Now let's get to the food. Many reviewers said the food was terrible and some people even got sick from it. I had a different experience. The cocktail hour had great choices of food (duck wrap and German sausages being one of my favorites) and the open bar kept guests very happy. And trust me they were not skimpy on the alcohol. One of my new mix is Ciroc coconut, Sprite, and orange juice and the bar tender delivered it perfectly. The dinner menu consisted of lobster ravioli, salad, and choice of steak, chicken, or fish. Then a trio of dessert with the three tiered cake to top off the night. This place certainly delivered on style, decor, and food. Celebrated New Year's Eve here. I feel let down. I went with people that have been to the same party the year before and they couldn't stop talking about the abundance of food all night long that would be presented. At $180 per person, I was looking forward to everything that they said would be there (as it was last year). I was also just going by The Royal Manor's own words which they had listed about the event on social media. So the few things they all collectively bragged about: lobster, oysters, two whole suckling pigs (not that I was interested, but others were and there weren't two pigs, there wasn't even one pig) plus a full dessert buffet - were all missing. There was still more food than necessary, but I can't say I wasn't expecting the lobster and oysters and dessert buffet if those were the things promised. Other gripes: - Sit down dinner was a disappointment to the meat eaters. It was supposed to be a duet of filet mignon and stuffed chicken. Well, the red meat was NOT filet mignon and the chicken was dry. As a vegetarian, I asked for fish. I was given Chilean sea bass and I have to say, it was delicious. - The band was great. But their choices of songs were questionable. Another major concern with them (which they got several boo's for) was cutting off the DJ (who did 15 minutes sets between the band playing) right in the middle of a great dance song. They didn't let the song finish out and worse, they stopped his dance song to go into a slow song which completely killed the vibe on the dance floor. Not cool. Still, I danced nearly the entire night. - Coffee was never offered. You kind of had to take some off a tray nearby if you were lucky to spot it. - Drinks were premium, strong and free all night. That's not the gripe part. Servers would come up to the table to bring you your drinks but they started to bring them two at a time. While that might be something to put on the plus side of things, the ice quickly melted and you ended up drinking probably more than you should in order not to waste the ice. Haha. This place gets rave reviews for weddings. I would expect that the New Year's Eve party would be just as good as a wedding, if not maybe a little more special. Sadly, that was not the case this year. It was disappointing to me, but especially to those that were there last year and really could compare the events against each other. It left them feeling bad about recommending it so highly to the rest of us, only to have everyone feel like the night left much to be desired. read more

Went to this venue for an event with over 200 people. The place is nice and elegant, staff is nice, it even has valet. But the food here is pretty bad. Almost everything I had was bland and tasteless. I had the calamari which was rubbery and hard to eat, their chicken tacos are under-seasoned and boring, and their salmon tasted like McDonald's fish sandwiches. We recently had our wedding at the Royal Manor - this past August. First I would like to say the whole team there is great. Joey and Doug made everything just flow perfectly. The bridal attendants were very helpful as well, anything we needed or wanted- they were right there to help. Best customer service. Olga is also great - I called her a bunch of times for silly questions and she was always cheerful and helpful! The food was great. Especially the cocktail hour (we still have family members coming up to us saying how great the seafood (raw bar/lobster/shrimp) and the roast pig were. We stopped downstairs to see it ourselves, and were so glad we did. So much to choose from, and so fresh! The dinners were great- Love the Royal Salad and The mushroom soup (which they made special just for me: Bride!). The Viennese hour was just as amazing as the cocktail hour. The decor was great. If you have extra to spend- def. ask about the lighting package with the technician - he did an awesome job. Loved the Royal Manor...can't wait to go back there again. Would like to begin by stating that this review is strictly based on our experience with the management and ownership. Our wedding was scheduled for early October of this year, but once again due to several COVID related issues including the continued travel ban from Europe, guests still being afraid to be at a large scale event, and a member of the bridal party catching COVID we were forced to postpone the event. The manager, Vince, and the ownership could not have been less helpful with this difficult decision. 1) It was very difficult to meet/reach Vince, even before this decision was reached. When we originally signed our contract, Doug was the general manager, he was extremely helpful and involved in our process. Sadly he is no longer part of this venue. 2) The ownership could care less that we were dealing with a difficult time. When we first met with Vince to discuss our situation he said he would have to speak with the owner. After over a week he got back to us stating their is nothing the owner can do, and we would be out 75% of the total value of the contract. This percentage equated to over $20,000. (NOTE: Most venues only hold 50%)We tried explaining that we are simply POSTPONING and not canceling, they still were not backing down from their contract standards. After this we offered the owner $15,000 to cover his loss for that night and we would immediately sign a new contract for the following year. We understood COVID was hard for businesses as well and wanted to be fair to them. Once again they turned us down, telling us we will lose 75% and MIGHT be able to lock in the same per plate price we originally had. We told Vince that if their was no flexibility we would be taking our business elsewhere when we reschedule. They came back to us telling us they would give us a $11,000 credit that would be applied to the following years event. BUT, the price per plate was increased by $85, at 175 guests this equated to the wedding being even more expensive than before. Their "deal" was simply them trying to sneak a higher cost on to us. The ownership here has a reputation of being GREEDY and unwilling to work with anyone. We tried every way, shape and form to be FAIR to all parties and they would not even contact us directly or be willing to speak with us. Beautiful venue and food, not very accommodating and very pushy when it came to signing the contract. This venue knew we were in between two venues and we're going to make a choice asap, but we felt very rushed. I got an email almost every other day asking us when we were going to make a decision. We were also asked if a contract should have been typed up before we attended a tasting. No way! Also,before we inquired about a different date, we were told our original date was going to be released if we did not make a decision ASAP. Really? According to the paperwork we received at our first visit, we had 30 days to make a decision, not two weeks! My fiancé and I were looking forward to having our 2017 wedding here, but because they were unable to work with our budget and were extremely pushy, we are signing our wedding contract with a venue who is more than willing to accommodate us and throw in some extras. read more

I am very happy to have made the decision to have the Royal Manor as our wedding venue. Everything went absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and exceeded the expectations of my guests. The cocktail hour was amazing with plenty of options that Wowed my guests. The options for main dish were also wonderful! Not a single dish was dry or without flavor. All perfectly decorated. We had a little some tables that had to be the rearranged because of guests that failed to come and others that showed up- but they were accommodated without issue. Our wedding on 10/5/14 was amazing! The royal manor did an amazing job. I have very high explications and was very pleased with our special day. Our guests are still raving about the lavish cocktail hour and dessert hour. They said the food was "out of this world and service was top notch." I started planning our wedding one year prior and Jolanta was helpful though every step of the way. She stopped working at The Royal Manor several weeks just before our wedding. I wish she could have been there too. She transferred me to Douglas to finish everything up. He was helpful in finalizing all of the last minute details and helping me with menu selections. Our ceremony was outside in their garden area and was absolutely stunning. Our florist constructed a beautiful arch way, combined with their beautiful landscaping and waterfall made for priceless photos. Joanna was the maitre d' for the event and Anna was the bridal attendant. They were both so helpful and attentive through the entire night! They did an absolutely amazing job! Anything we needed they took care of. We did have a medical emergency at our event as well, and they handled it professionally. Friends and family members all said they hope to be invited to another event at The Royal Manor in the future (myself as well) : ). They all told me how each table had their own waiter/waitress with the best service! They said their glasses were always full : ) The decor is beautiful. They also keep the place spotless. I highly recommend adding the Venesse (desert) hour. It extends your reception one full hour and your guests will LOVE all of the desert stations and choices. The reason for a 4 star rating vs 5 was there was some errors along the way. We met with Douglas prior to the wedding to finalize details. I told him we will have a confetti blast done during the reception. He said the clean up fee was $175. I told him I would think about it and let him know. I sent him an email confirming we will go ahead with the confetti blasts and I would bring a check. He then said the clean up fee is $600. That is a HUGE difference. After some back and forth we settled on $250 because I had already paid my DJ for the confetti blasts. Understandably, the confetti does make a mess, but ours was not huge and you stated the fee was $175. Funny how in just a matter of a few weeks, it went from $175 to $600. Both confetti blast were entirely cleaned up in less than five minutes. Did not warrant a $250 clean up charge, let alone $600. I did send photos of what I wanted our ice carving to look like and Douglas said they were able to make it just like the photo I sent. I believe it was an oversight and they made the completely wrong one. It still looked great, but it was not the one I emailed him and confirmed with him prior to. All in all, The Royal Manor did a phenomenal job and I would absolutely host another event there and recommend them to any bride searching for a venue! We went per the recommendation of a very good friend whom raved about this venue. One of the best weddings I've ever been to all thanks to this superb venue! Upon getting past the valet and entering, it literally looked like something out of a classy James Bond setting. There a big white room with colorful art and lights and champagne lined up for a mile. I grabbed one and headed into the hors d'oeuvres area or what I'd like to call the grand buffet on crack! This place had it all, meats, cheeses, fruit, salads, pastas, desserts, a sushi bar, a lobster buffet, and of course, this being a Polish wedding, all the kelbasi, pierogies, and potato pancakes you can eat! Think wedding food is boring now? I decided to fill up here because I was not too enthused on the traditional chicken, steak, or fish dinner entrees and boy did I get stuffed like a Polish prince. The wedding reception hall where all the action happened was nice and big with a spacious dance floor. I met tons of family, danced, drank, and laughed the night away. Before I knew it, it was midnight and the dessert buffet opened up in the same area as the hors d'oeuvres area and it was pretty much the same thing EXCEPT replace everything with candy and cake! I was too full to eat but I just stood there in wonder and awe and felt like a kid in a candy store...err candy empire. I know the host probably spent a fortune on all this but without the help of this venue, none of this would have been possible. Well what can I said about this amazing incredible place The Royal Manor. A year ago I was looking for places to celebrate my daughter sweet sixteen from all the other places that I look around. The Royal manor was a perfect places to celebrate my princess sweet 16 not only they celebrate your weeding you can celebrate other events. I just celebrate this past Saturday on June 22 my princess party and I have no words to explain or say starting with the treatment you guys were very professional. The food was amazingly good the sweet table I was impress it was something more them what I expected all the waiters they were so professional and they were very attentive with all my guesses. Attended a corporate function just recently. The establishment's decor was a bit dated, but clean and bright. The food was nothing special but was displayed nicely along with a beautiful carving station. Now why I rated so low... The valet left us waiting over 15 minutes because they took the wrong keys. We at one point believed the car had been stolen. Turns out they left our car unlocked in the parking lot the entire time. Being as how this isn't the best of neighborhoods, it certainly left me a tad annoyed. But my biggest gripe BY FAR were the employees. At the cash bar, the bartender took our CC and informed us last round, she would be closing the bar...no problem. I do have a problem when she just leaves the bar because the food station is being broken down. We asked numerous staff to get her back to the bar to close us out only for her to still be chewing when she returns. We waited 20 minutes for to get CC back. Appalling behavior!!! Everyone is still taking about it being the best wedding they have been to and my wedding was over a month ago! LOL I am glad all of my hard work and nights paid off so to hear the rave reviews is rewarding. PROS: I would like to mention again that ANNA is amazing! She was extremely responsive and very helpful. I feel like she is my best friend now. :) The venue is very beautiful. The food was great! My bridal attendant was very sweet. CONS: There is a chance that three events can be going on at the same time. The venue has two ballrooms on the main floor and another smaller room near the bridal suite upstairs. If you can afford it I would recommend renting out both ballrooms on the main level which is called the Grand Ballroom if you are looking for a more exclusive event. I used the Royal Ballroom which is the bigger one out of the two ballrooms on the main level. So I had access to the cocktail hour room right next to it. I was supposed to have access to the outside garden area but since they had an event right next to the bridal suite they were in the garden area as well. The staff did a good job of telling them to leave but they shouldn't have been there to begin with. Not too sure if management turnover is an issue but when I signed my contract a year before my wedding, I was working with Jerry who was great! Then I found out a couple of months before my wedding that Jerry left which I was unhappy about finding out the way I did. But I would get everything in writing just in case the person helping you leaves. We were promised a couple of things verbally but they were honored because he left. My family & me were at the hall for a party. The air conditioning seemed to not work. Our hostesses told us they requested air be put up higher, they were told by staff there was not anyone on premisses that could move temp. I seen some quests leave because was tooo hot! The hall itself was beautiful, dinner was great. Pop was flat but they did correct problem. But temperature was not acceptable! Other parties on other floors were complaining of the same problem. I later heard this has been a problem at this hall. So keep that in mind when renting this hall. read more

Just had my daughters wedding there-5/20/2016 I can't say enough about the Royal Manor everything was absolutely wonderful- The staff did their best to make sure every thing went perfectly- the food was delicious! On Saturday Oct. 15, 2016 my husband and I had a attended a wedding at the Royal Manor. The cocktail and the Venetian hours were great, however the dinner was really very unsavory. No guest at our table ate their dinner, whether it was the fish, chicken or fillet minion. The service was also of very poor quality; very slow service and very abrupt behavior.. We have given and attended many different venues, and for us this was one of the worst ones! read more
