The doctors are good however they're also good at the other clinics that I have visited, and unfortunately at Fountain Corner you are required to pay a larger fee when in comparison. Having said this, the doctors here are probably above average and I do think when it comes to health Fountain Corner is an appropriate and efficient clinic. Overall Fountain Corner is a nice and friendly practice, which can be found on Unley Road. With a fairly nice vibe attached to the environment here it's a pleasant experience, however just a little pricier than your standard fully bulk billed doc.

I have been going there for years, and have always been treated with respect. The front of house staff are really lovely, and the chemist attached is the best in greater Adelaide. This is one of 3 medical centres in a triangle within about 1 to 2 kilometers apart…read more I consulted doctors here in 2008 after I moved to the area and because their waiting room is almost always empty, despite this they have recently extensively renovated in 2012. I had a diagnostic scan done interstate before I moved here and brought this to a doctor as it shows a foreign item in the radiology image. The doctor I saw turned the X-Ray upside down and pretended not to be able to see the foreign item. Refusing to talk further to me he sat typing on the computer, presumably recording his misconceptions in my medical record. I lodged an official complaint to the Medical Board involving this person and others. The medical practice banned me from attending on the grounds that I lodged a complaint to the Medical Board, which is in breach of Australian law. I didn't know I was banned until I went back several months later with an infection which related directly to the foreign item seen in X-Ray. I received no treatment because I was banned and the infection was not deemed as an emergency. The foreign item is still inside me. This is a very scarey place to be especially when you don't feel 100 percent well.

The doctor here was very friendly and I was seen immediately. He checked my weight, blood pressure and had a good chat about my health in general and any conditions I have. He then booked me in for a ADT shot (tetanus prevention), which I received in another 5 minutes and after all that, bulk billed me, so I paid nothing. The other staff were also very friendly and willing to have a bit of a conversation which I enjoy when I'm getting needles stabbed into my arm.

I had with me a 4yr old and it was difficult driving with a tea-towel wrapped around my hand to stop the blood flow. The receptionist called 2 doctors to see if they'd see a "walk-in" and both said no and told me to go to ER (there were no other patients waiting). With all the advertising to see you GP rather than go to the ER if it's not a life-threatening event, these doctors are pushing patients into ER when they are quite capable of stitching a minor cut that just needs a few stitches. 12 Months ago they also turned my daughter away when her then 3 year was sick. This is a terrible practice. I am only giving one star as that is the lowest score I can give.
