Upon checking out all of the items I brought to the counter where inspected for any possible issues. The lady noticed that the cross on the Rosary Beads I was purchasing was broken & wanted to make sure that I was aware of it before making my purchase. I told her I was aware of it but that I was still wanting to purchase them because of how they reminded me of my Nana's. If you love going to Antique Shops & are in the Shallotte area this little place won't be a disappointment. They're typically $1 or less. Here, they're $4 each. That may not seem like a big deal to some people, but that 400% mark-up was on everything throughout the store, including plenty of things you can find at other stores for a fraction of the price (dishes, glasses, furniture, art, etc). I don't understand why so many resale stores try charging retail prices on used stuff that you can't return.

There was also some new stuff like candles, signs, and soap for sale. This is a larger building with multiple dealers. Many of the booths had sales when I went. Glasswear, jewelry, pottery, clothing, decor, toys- I saw things from all of these categories. Service seemed friendly. There were items at a variety of price points and prices seemed mostly fair based on my experience visiting a variety of antique establishments in multiple states.

We immediately understood why this was when we walked into the door. The place is full of beautiful nostalgia. Walking through the store, my sister and I were swept back in time to our childhood.
