I was doubtful that they would agree to respond to an internet inquiry as I wouldn't be a repeat customer but was pleasantly surprised when not only they responded but put with one of their most senior stylist as I was sure I'd be put with a newbie. I understand everyone has to start somewhere but I had a sudden health crisis a year ago that resulted in major hair loss. I was subsequently deeply concerned about a neophyte coloring and trimming my hair. I emailed them my regular stylist's "recipe" and Naomi was an absolute master at her craft. She did an incredible job and was very much a subject matter expert as to what I could do to protect my hair that was coming back in and asses how much new growth I had given it was all uneven. I am strictly team Aveda for years and years but often the sacrifice is the personality of the stylist and although I'm fine with silence, Naomi was the absolute coolest and a complete delight. A few times they were decent but literally my nails would always break/crack or the polish would chip/ peel off. It was such an inconvenience to go back to them a day or just days after my nails were done. Also, I was charged for the nail repair every time even if it was the next day! My last experience at this nail salon was the worst by far treatment I have ever received at any nail salon in my life! I went in for a fill-in and requested for that he added a thicker layer over my nails that he had filed so thinly the last visit! He then refused and said, "I don't trust him" which I responded , "That it's not about trust. I am going on vacation to Italy tomorrow and the fact that the last several times I had gotten service, my nails have broken the next day. I don't want this to happen again, it's about customer service." He then refused and told me that he would no longer complete my nails and to have a nice vacation.
