I always find something I like, especially dishes. So much better for the environment than buying new things

We were moving and had some larger items to donate. These items were gently used and you could tell but they weren't that bad. The man in the back was extremely rude and acted as though we were bothering him with our donation. His attitude towards us made me feel horrible about donating. I heard him mutter several unkind words under his breath. After, I felt ashamed for no reason. They wouldn't take our water cooler, which I had called and asked about and they said they could take it. So we took it to Impossible Dream where they were so kind and thankful. I would not recommend donating here unless you want to feel horrible about yourself! read more

The guy in the donation area clearly hates his job or people. He saw me walk through the door with stuff to donate, shook his head multiple times, sighed and ignored me. Continued to do this until I left. Another employee thanked us for our donation but I'm not sure I'll take the time to donate here again because of the bitterness he shows to customers. read more

I've never donated something and felt bad about it afterwards like I did here. I felt like I was bothering the dude in the back with my boxes of stuff. He was pretty rude and ungrateful. Not only that but there was some dirty underwear, broken glass and a syringe laying on the ground by the donation center door. Not sure what the guy was doing in the back, but you would think priority would be to pick that crap up first. Probably will never donate to these people ever again. read more

I love going to thrift stores and this one is just average. I really didn't find anything and it was pretty small.

I brought items to this center, some of which they were accepting and some they were not. There was a bag of items they said they could not accept at the time, which was fine, but the items were in a brown paper bag. The girl in the back roughly rummaged through the bag and saw a Vera Bradley bag at the bottom. She tore the paper bag down the entire side, and pulled out the Vera Bradley bag. She turned my ripped bag sideways because everything was starting to fall out and tried handing it to me. I couldn't even take it if I wanted to. She then asked me if I wanted her to put in a garbage bag. I told her, "yes please," because it was impossible to even take at this point because of the ripped bag. She tried to dump the items in a garbage bag and dumped half of the items on the floor, many which were glass. She was not careful in putting them back in the bag and was so careless with my items. As I watched her do this to my items I was willing to donate, I lost so much hope. The workers in this facility do not care about your items. If they act like that when a customer is right in front of them, I don't want to know what they do when no one is looking. I donate to the Salvation Army frequently, most of the time name brand items with tags still on. Regardless of the value of these items, people are graciously donating their personal items and they should not be treated this way. I can never in good conscience donate to this facility again. I used to love this place. Shopped here all the time and they had great stuff. But lately it has been terrible. The staff is rude and and condescending. I got yelled at for bringing in a beverage with a twist top on it (even though I wasn't drinking it) and they made me throw it away. Prices are outrageous. 6 dollars for some shirts. These are second hand, not new! Needs some revamping. So disappointed now. read more
