I attended Sharon's as a child, and it was the absolute best part of my childhood. The staff was amazing, and I looked forward to every single day. The School at Sharon's has been part of our family's life for so long that it feels like a second home. My daughter started there when she was just 15 months old and stayed until she was 6, and now my 3‑year‑old son has just begun his journey there. Watching both of my children grow in such a loving, supportive environment has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. It is incredibly rare to find people who care for your children with the same tenderness, patience, and genuine love as family--but that is exactly what we found at Sharon's. I have never once doubted that my kids were safe, nurtured, and truly seen for who they are. Every day, I honestly feel excited for my son, because I know he is walking into a place where he is cherished, encouraged, and surrounded by people who believe in him. Their private kindergarten program is something I will forever be grateful for. It is absolutely phenomenal. You can see the heart, dedication, and passion that the teacher pours into those kids every single day. My daughter came out of that program with incredible tools for learning and a confidence that has carried her far beyond kindergarten. She is now in 4th grade making straight A's, and I wholeheartedly believe that foundation was built at The School at Sharon's. This place is more than childcare--it is a gift. It has shaped my children, supported our family, and given us peace of mind and joy for so many years. I cannot recommend The School at Sharon's enough. They are, truly, something special. read more

I will simply share the email I sent to Sharon and Abby declining a job offer. "Sharon and Abby, I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to work for Sharon's Place but unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by the professionalism shown in this company. I was never shown around the facility, which is concerning. I was ridiculed for having three appointments in one day. Two of which are for an important ultrasound that I have not yet received. The third is for a parenting class my husband and I signed up for. These appointments have been scheduled for weeks now. Not that I owe you an explanation, but I am considered high risk in my pregnancy, so that is why I have had so many appointments recently. I was also shocked by the fact that I had to repeatedly ask for an interview. During this interview, it was briefly mentioned that something concerning must be happening in a classroom and that you were trying to figure out which teacher was causing the problem before adding another teacher into the room. This was unsettling for me. Again, I thank you for the opportunity but due to the reasons listed above, I am no longer interested." read more

The staff at Sharon's are absolutely wonderful, however, Sharon has no business running a childcare facility. There was a time in my life when I thought childcare was my life's calling. Sharon and her management team 100% ruined that dream for me. I was yelled at and bullied by her and management on a regular basis. Sharon has no patience for children. I watched her time and time again scream and yell in children's faces when no one was looking. She picks favorites and she most DEFINITELY picks least favorites. Sharon does not hold her self to the same standard as her staff, and Abby and the rest of management are blind sheep, constantly defending her actions. I had paychecks bounce more than once, only fixed with a wad of cash in my hand the next day. Health insurance dropped us because the bill was never paid. I was living paycheck to paycheck and was constantly worried about wether my paycheck would go through. I will forever live with the trauma that was working for Sharon. If you give her business your money, know that you are funding the abuse of not only her staff, but possibly your child. Again, her staff are angels and they will love your children like their own, but that's only if Sharon will let them. Two years later, and that job is still haunting me. read more

My son attended Sharon's Day Care many years ago and he's grown now, but I'm writing this because this event still upsets me after all these years. I'm a single mother and had a job for a very short time that required me to drive out of state. Due to traffic, I was 15 minutes late (after closing) picking him up. I found the doors to the daycare locked and my son standing outside ALONE where anything could have happened to him! I had no choice in daycare facilities at the time due to my circumstances and he'd been going there for several years. I felt completely betrayed at the harm they put my son in with no thought for him whatsoever. I'd picked him up early many times, and those few minutes were out of my control. It was the only time anything like it had happened, and the result was endangering my child. If I could have switched providers, I would have, and I would recommend that no one take their child there. I never recommended Sharon's to anyone and was glad that he didn't have to attend the place long after that. read more

I had taken both my children to this facility. Staff is nice but the director, Sharon, has no business running a child care facility. Her business has been investigated by the IRS, employees paychecks bounce and she is rude to parents and staff and short tempered with the children. After my daughter (3.5) had a long temper tantrum at daycare we received a call that we needed to come get her. When I asked why she what was going on she said "I don't know, you tell me" when I began to question her and ask why she was insisting we leave work to get our child she got very rude with me on the phone. When my daughters father got there to get her she told him that we would need to find a new daycare because "this isn't going to work" she said we had 1 week. No action plan, no meeting, no behavior chart or tracking, nothing! Just let go from the facility after we had been with them for 4 years! Disgraceful! She is an awful human being and her staff are truly there for the children, many have expressed that they can not stand working for her. Take your child elsewhere where you don't have to fear having your child dismissed for having normal 3 year old behaviors! read more
