It had an area on the beach and a more indoor type with fans which is where we sat. We got the fish tacos and flautas - everything was fresh and good size portions. I really loved both our stops here! Of all the places we stopped along the beach this was our favorite. They were having Corona specials for 25 pesos (about $1.50 USD). The food was so so. I had tortilla soup and was really looking forward to a large serving of consume, but the bowl was so full tortilla strips, it soaked up all the liquid before I could eat it. Another time I ordered a shrimp dish expecting to get a pile of shrimp but it came as a sandwich (the menu didn't clarify that it was a sandwich) with about 5 small/medium shrimp. This place ended being one of our go-to places while visiting PV. You can lounge on the beach and watch the day go by while enjoying drinks and food. The service was good and the staff are friendly. We enjoyed the coconut shrimp twice and the grilled fish tacos were alright, we would have preferred the fried but we didn't specify. I really enjoyed a mocha a few times, they don't add a ton of sugar like the states and it comes with a small cookie. read more

My family and I traveled from Los Angeles and went this weekend bar hopping and as my brother in law, sister, and cousin tried to go in to join the rest of the family that was in there the supervisor did not let them in. We came in to grab a quick bite after an excursion and wanted to eat on the beach and really didn't know what to expect. Boy were we happy we did. We had the avocado shrimp salad and the grilled mahi-mahi taco, and we took advantage of the BOGO mojito. The tacos were dressed with a small shaving of coleslaw and with the sauces provided, was spectacular. I have to say we were floored by the incredible flavors. It was actually the best tasting dishes we have had in the two days we have been in PV. It wasn't really busy as we came after lunch had passed, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, and took care of us well. We enjoyed the view of the ocean and watching what we believe to be pelicans diving for fish. Pretty awesome experience. Just remember to bring cash. read more

This place is the first place you come to when you cross over the bridge. We have tried this place a couple of times over the years and each time we kick ourselves for stopping in here. It does have GREAT beach seating. Food is just ok. The negative here is the price. Place is expensive for the PV Food scene. My reccomendation, just keep walking, there are a ton of other great restaurants right on the beach to check out. read more

This was probably the cheapest drink I've had on my trip here minus the all inclusive ones at the Hyatt! But this was also the best mojitos I've had!! Made The right way! So good! One of the night staff kicked me off the beach where I was sitting by one of the posts planted in the sand. He didn't identify himself at first. He was screaming at me and kept screaming. He had a limited vocabulary -- every other word was M--- F----er. I'm 78 years old, and I was sitting by the post to help get up after my phone call. He was twice as big and once moved toward me in a threaning way. He would't tell me his name or the owner/manager's name. The restaurant was closed. read more

Beach front tables with thatched roof umbrellas added to the enjoyment. Only thing preventing 5 stars is some of the mint leaves were a little wilted. My wife and I asked to sit at one of their beach stands and we'd buy a salad or something. They told me that I had to pay my 500peso bill first from last night in which I was there nor ever had been. They said that last night I could' t find my money and I pulled out drugs while looking. First, I don't drink. Second, I don't do drugs as I am a federal employee and get tested all the time. Third, I've never been there. They threatened to call the cops so I said bring it on. I'd be happy to take a drug test and they had no pictures or camera to prove their shitty attempt at a scam. The special on the menu 2/15/18 was Campylobacter. For those of you who aren't biology students this is a food borne virus. I arrived around noon that day, haven't eaten anything in the morning. I ordered a cheese burger, my wife ordered some nachos. The food came fast as the service was quite good. However an hour later I was throwing up at a nearby bar. I was subsequently sick for the next not one, not two, but NINE days. Work on food safety skills folks before you kill an old person or a child. So, no I will not be coming back. read more

The only problem with eating on the beach side, as opposed to eating inside, is that the beach is public and we were pestered interminably by men, women, and children trying to sell us things, from clothes to art to hats to toys to weed to tchotchkes.
