If you've never worked with butterflies, I can tell you that they have the attention span of a fruit fly and are apt to fly away in a blink. But Doug was willing to accept the challenge. He arrived exactly on time for our appointment and already knew a perfect location for the subject. I used as many tricks as I could think of to make my little friends cooperative and then hoped for the best. We had SO much fun, with as many as 10 butters in some of the photos. Doug was creative and easy to work with. He gave me everything I had hoped for and much more. The photos are nothing short of spectacular and I couldn't be happier!

We hired Lindley for our baby shower instead of a family member who has been a photographer for a…read moredecade so he could join us instead of working. That turned out to be a terrible mistake. The pictures taken by Lindley were of amateur quality at best. Blurred and blurry pics. More pictures of the food than of the actual couple being celebrated like it was a restaurant menu instead of a baby shower. When approached as to why we didn't get a full picture of the table with our pictures on it, her response was that she did not want to be redundant of pictures that we already had, but yet over 50% of our pictures were of the food that we provided for our guest and of the guest eating which obviously are not very flattering. Our guest we showed the photos of themselves did even want those pictures posted, and even the person who referred us to Lindley felt bad. We asked for a partial refund, since she required payment upfront and we were denied because she didnt like that I told her that her pictures were not satisfactory and unprofessional. Do yourselves a favor and hire anyone else, or if you are on a budget, use a disposable camera and find a 5 years old to take the pictures. This is what we get for hiring a self entitled millennial whom Im sure Mommy and Daddy bought a camera for her so she could call herself a photographer. We would have continued to hire her for our upcoming future photography needs, but unfortunately after dealing with the disappointment and lack of professionalism, I can not see ever speaking to her again and in good faith can not and will not feel comfortable letting others I know ever hire her in the future.

I set up my session back when my life was normal, back before my husbands cancer diagnosis. But how…read moreeasily life can take a turn and within weeks it was doctors appointments, chemo and scans. So I went back and forth on rescheduling. But I knew a part of me wanted so feel normal for a little bit. I kept my date and was excited before I got in. Once I got inside a) it's beautiful, the space just screams sexy and relax! B) the atmosphere that Karen creates there is so positive and energetic! I was starting to get excited, had my makeup done and looked amazing same with my hair! Then on to picking out the outfit an getting ready to start! Any anxiety or fear disappeared!
