I had the bread pudding. So good, I'm not a fan of chocolate I'll get it without it next time as the menu mentioned caramel. Still good enough to pick around the chocolate parts. Service was outstanding , food was flavorful and unique yet so very fresh, and HUGE bonus points for having a playground for kids to play and enjoy while parents can relax with a fantastic meal. Win win win for the whole family! I forgot to add that we ordered several different items, the burger (seasoned and cooked perfectly), the chicken Indian curry which was better than any Indian dish I've ever ordered in both LA and New York, and the beef Thai noodle dish that was so fresh and light yet sweet and savory. They have the best Carrot cakes, in my opinion. Best I have so far in all the places we traveled to around European and definitely in America. My expectation of what a carrot cake should taste like is because of them. We were in Spain back in 2014-15 and now (2022- ), this is the place we found our family likening the most. Food are consistently good/ delicious (depending what you crave for). Server are friendly and helpful, they all speak English. Great family restaurant. Great party gatherings. I don't have pictures but must try; teriyaki salmon, fish taco (if you like it spicy, ask for their hot/spicy sauce), fish and chips, nachos, their soups of the day and and definitely the carrot cake! The only con about the place in our experience is the coffee with milk. It's not strong and doesn't hit that full taste of coffee that coffee drinkers know about. We don't order coffee here nor that we care to, that is why I not gonna judge this place too harshly, or take away a star ratting. This is not a cafe. However, must try eating their brunch in the weekend. This is the best you'll get in the area (Rota/Putero) that is consistent. read more

Almost perfect. But....3.5 Ordered the curry with "flat bread". Yeah, so flat they're called tortillas. Correction, IT'S called a tortilla cause we only got one (and it wasn't a big one). First look with the tortilla, non traditional style, and price...we're talking two stars. But the curry saved the day. Asked for extra spicy and they delivered with such great flavor and spice... I've been here a couple of times, mostly in group settings. We usually get the nachos or the fish tacos to share and both are pretty good. (Both are good to share for 2 people, depending on how hAngry you are). There is plenty of seating and certain nights are themed (karaoke, etc). Steve (the owner) and all the staff are super friendly. They have their own dirt parking lot so it is not an issue. They also have a nice play area for the little ones. *Bring insect repellant if you choose to sit outside as those nasty critters are a nuisance! read more

So I've been hearing a lot of good things about this restaurant so my hubby and I decided to go out tonight since it seemed to be the only restaurant open for New Years Eve. I'm glad that we did! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was exquisite! I mean everything! There was nothing that we ordered that we didn't like at all. My favorite was their jalapeño poppers! Man I could eat those everyday! Come second is the garlic bread w/ the cheese dipping. I definitely think this is the one restaurant that my hubby and I will be coming back to over and over again. Know why? I know I already went on and on about how great the food was but I really liked the fact the owner came and talk to us. Also, the fact that we got our food in a timely manner. Not like the other restaurants were I felt like they forgot about you and you constantly have to flag them down. I guess that's the norm here in Spain but I'm glad this wasn't one of them. The food is great and the owner Stevie and staff are friendly. They make sure you are greeted with a smile as you arrive. If you go there more than once there is a good chance they will remember your name and what you like. It is not just a bar the owner is a chef so the food is outstanding and fresh. Personal favorites are the octopus kabob and the spicy wings are some of the best I have had. The sauce is home made and nothing you have tasted before. Other outstanding dishes are the Chicken Curry and the shepherds pie. I highly recommend it!!! read more

I really enjoy going to shamrocks. It's got great drinks, food and staff. I love going to the karaoke nights and brunch on the weekends.

My family and I have eaten here multiple times, and have enjoyed ourselves each time. The owner, Stevie, and staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a wide range of things offered on their menu, from burgers to nachos to salads. My personal favorite is one of their appetizers (which I eat as an entree), the samosas. They are vegetarian, slightly spicy, and delicious. They had Thai fish cakes with jasmine rice and chipotle lime sauce on their menu, which was also excellent. It is also a good place to have desserts, because their chocolate Guinness cake or carrot cake is a great way to end the meal. Additionally they have a play area for the kids, and parking. There is an indoor and outdoor sitting area, and a playground for kids. The owner stopped by a few times to see how we were doing and asked if we had any questions and gave some recommendations. This place is whatever honestly. Let me explain why. First things first, they do NOT offer wifi to their customers. What kind of establishment in the year 2015 doesn't offer free wifi, that's just ridiculous. If you decide to eat outside the restaurant seems to have a feral cat wondering about and will come near your table to watch you eat, odd. Drinks seem pricey and when I mean drinks in talking about soda and juice. Almost 10€ for 2 diet cokes and 2 zumo's. The food is mediocre, nothing special about it, we tired quite a few things and they tasted average at best. They do have a nice outdoor playground for children which is nice, and service speed is faster then other restaurants in Spain. I don't see myself returning here. read more

Our family has eaten at Shamrock 5-6 times over the last few months and it has quickly become our "go to" for a night out. The food is good, the atmosphere is good, the service is good, and the hours are great (so few places in Spain are open before 8pm). Our first visit was excellent. I'm only waiting for more visits before I can give a straight 5 stars....but there will be more visits. They do indeed have a great fish and chips. The owner is probably one of the nicest restauranteurs I've meet. He came to our table to make sure our meals were good. This place has a lot of good seating. It is not a standard Irish pub with only pub fair. Its a large place, has outdoor seating and excellent food. On Sundays they have a roast beef meal that was very good. It's a big filling meal. There was plenty of inside seating as well. Also, they have a playground, so definitely friendly for children. There is also plenty of parking in their private parking lot and they have some trees to provide shade for your car. Go to their website for more information; it is in both Spanish and English. Not really as good as others post. Typical overpriced for Americans afraid to venture far from base. The chicken wings are baked or boiled, slimy and disgusting. The burgers are ok but have an after taste that is odd, they try to be upscale by adding blackberry preserves and goat cheese but really if the basic ingredient - meat is off then it doesn't matter what you add. Portions are also small for the price, again geared to take advantage of Americans. Keep driving up the road for better options, it's worth it! read more

As mentioned by others, the owner and his staff are phenomenal. Add to, that if you're American (which all the reviews I've seen so far are), they open round 6pm. No staying out to dinner until midnight to feed the kids. The food is a far better variety than standard pub fare, though you can get that with a gourmet twist here, too. Nothing I've had from the menu here is less than excellent. And the owner himself will come to check on you numerous times throughout your meal to ensure that. After coming a few times, it is a place 'where everybody knows your name'. The employees will remember you. As for the negative review, what kind of phone doesn't have a data plan? Your addiction to online isn't a reason to give a place whose service is FOOD, not internet, a poor review. Also, the drink prices are right on par with any place else off-base. The nachos are the best of the area if you like'em spicy. we get it every time we go. Then hamburger or fish and chips are my options normally. btw, leave space for the dessert, they have two that are really good, the carrot cake (pretty popular) and the chocolate & orange cheesecake, my favorite :) The terrace is cool, you can chill there in their big wood tables, have your drinks, watching your kids.. they have a kids park for them which is good so we can enjoy our evening calmly. 6 stars to the staff people, owner and crew are always friendly, and making sure we are ok. read more
