The pub was nearly empty when we arrived at 1830. By the time we left at 1930 it was standing room only. The drinks were inexpensive and they've got a good selection of mixed countries' beers on tap along with some bottled drinks. This was the first time I've seen the pub (or I would have stopped in previously) but won't be the last time I visit! The bartender was quick, spoke perfect English and was very honest (I had mistakenly tried to pay him twice...).

It was mostly crowded with students and young professionals. You could hardly find people above the age of 40. Needless to say, the choice of beers is great - which is also the Bar's unique selling point. Although a bit pricey, it is a great pleasure to drink yourself through the wide variety of mostly Belgian style beers (but beware the high percentage of alcohol!). I paid about 5-8€ per bottle, depending on what beer I choose. Like almost any other place in Metz, Les Berthom closed almost exactly at 2 a.m., which for me is much too early.
