Today was our first fitting, we met with Amy she definitely knows her stuff and I'm so impressed with her knowledge of everything in her store. Honestly, we drove 45 minutes to go to this boutique after having terrible experiences elsewhere, and our experience was wonderful. However, after we brought the dresses home, my one daughter wanted to try the dress on pre-prom just to make sure that everything looks ok. I had such a hard time with the zipper that I could not get it up at all! I called back the store to explain my concerns and got a very attitudey owner telling me that there was nothing wrong with the dress and it needed to be zipped up a certain way. Never in the two fittings that we had did they explain that it needed to be zipped up a certain way. In fact I never heard of such a thing, as this was a zipper and shouldn't the size of the dress if measured correctly be easy to pull up?? I tried doing it "her way" and was still struggling with the zipper. I called them back and again all she kept saying "well theres nothing wrong with the dress, but if you are still having problems, you can bring it back on Thursday and we can help you because we are closed till then". First off I called on a Sunday and the actual prom was on a Thursday. To me this is very poor customer service. What place is closed for 3 days during prom season and if you really cared about me as a customer wouldn't you make an exception and see me so we can see if there is something wrong with the dress or at least advise me of another place that could help me with my issue? Needless to say we are never going back to this store!

I imagine they carry an item in every color, so wear your walking shoes because you could be there for hours. We approached a few staff zipping around and stopped one for help. We were told to go to customer service and request a Fashion Coordinator. The woman at the counter announced over the loud speaker for one to come to the service counter. After 15 minutes no one showed up. Off we went to fend for ourselves through dozens and dozens of dress racks. We picked out about 7 dresses and headed to the dressing room. Packed in like cattle my daughter tried on dress after dress. Some sizes weren't readily available and no one was at the computer that's ACTUALLY in the dressing room so I had to go out to the customer service counter to get assistance. There I did receive prompt service and a "runner" would fetch the correct size and hand it to me there. Not sure how long they've been in business but I feel like they've become complacent and don't really care about offering even basic customer service. Maybe they were overwhelmed because it's peak prom season but I noticed many moms and daughters trying dresses on and leaving them, without buying. Overall 3.5, with my two cents: care for your customers and they'll take care of you.

Eek! Me thinks not…read more Every time I venture inside of this small boutique I feel judged. I know I'm not all skin and bones like most of your clientele and clothes. Even their gloves are too tiny for my slender hands! I get stared at like I'm a freak from a freak show. And every other minute someone asks me if I need help before I touch or feel an aticle in the shop, as if my touch will make their "gold" turn into poison! The shop is packed with racks of clothes and a few accessories. I usually would enter in for a change of atmosphere or when extremely bored. I never buy anything because it doesn't fit or the prices are just too damn high! $74.00 for a pair of gloves! Seriously? Most of their garments are nothing special. You can get the same or better at a place called Coquette in Garden City, NY for a fraction of the price. I know we're in rich Nassau County, but if you think your stuff is hot sh't you should have gotten a shop in a trendier location. Good luck and happy shops!
