I reserved an area for 40 people for the boyfriends birthday and couldn't have been happier with how the evening went. They reserved us a huge area which spanned both inside and outside the mismatch building. The first thing you notice is obviously the big red bus that you can actually dine upon. The next it's quirky greenhouse-esq. interior and then you can head out into their back garden area that has tables, a raised greenhouse area and plenty of available seating. They have a cocktail happy hour from 5 till 8 where cocktails are just £5 and they're pretty damn strong cocktails! And they also serve some fantastic street food. I opted for the wunderburger and it was god damn wunderful! Perfectly cooked juicy patty, topped with cheese, bacon and all the trimmings. Just wunderful! The only negative I have is that once they started getting busier the wait for drinks was rather extensive due to all the cocktail making so I'd just recommend a few more staff on those busy nights. Other than that I had the perfect evening and my boyfriend enjoyed his birthday immensely. Fantastic venue and another Deptford hidden gem!

It was about the social groups and charity groups in and around the Lewisham area and how us the community can help! There was also live music from artists in and around Lewisham and they all had a similar message and that was that we as a community, are all one and that we should work together to keep the area we live in a happy place. This was a good event and they should have more of these events around london. I didnt stay long (about an hour and a half) as i had work the next day but i would have stayed much longer! The venue itself, Wunderlust is quite a quirky place it has a huge red bus situated at the entrance and sells german hotdogs (hence the name!) Its decorated pretty with fairy lights and is like a little hidden den as it has like pathways which lead to different rooms and areas.. would recommend checking it out of your in the area..

Environment: The Sky Pod is located in the center of the area near the elevators. Place your order at the counter and grab one of the tables or lounge chairs in the area. What was ordered: A pint of Heineken and an Aspall Mulled Cyder. It was my first time trying the mulled cyder and I thought it was pretty tasty. It was sweet, slightly warm with a tangy orange taste. There was also a slice of orange in it. Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The Heineken was pretty basic but the cyder was very interesting. The view was also nice but would have been even better if it wasn't gloomy and drizzly; too bad we can't control the weather! A staff member will come by to collect your glass as soon as it's empty. It did take a while to find an empty spot since a lot of people were just sitting around even if they weren't drinking. Other than that, it was a nice experience to have while enjoying the view and the Garden. Credit cards are accepted.

Plus I'm pretty sure you just can't find this stateside; crisp exterior, full-on savory interior, atop a hearty waxy potato mash. Very simple, very good; no regrets. No regrets on the treacle tart either, which to be honest I wasn't sure exactly _what_ it was, but realized one bite in that it's a whole lot of golden syrup. Which isn't something I can't really find at home either, and is probably one of my favorite flavors in sweet food. I liked it so much, I swore to figure out how to make one when I got back (which I will do, as soon as we're through all the Christmas cookies.) It's not that far a walk down the Thames, but definitely worth it.

My sister opened up her French dip sandwich, which, by the way it came with gravy, only defined the slimmest amount of meat. As in, enough meat to really cover half of the sandwich. She said it was OK, but not great. The sandwich roll was good. My chicken was just OK. Maybe better than a chicken nugget from McDonald's, but not that much better. And the dipping sauce was not very good either. Unfortunately, the service was not very good. The person who took our order never ever came back to our table. Someone else delivered the meal. Nobody ever came to check on us. My sister had to go up and ask for some condiments to go with her fries. It took a long time, but eventually yet another person showed up to deliver it. We both had a beer with our meal, but clearly this is a cocktail bar. Some people had some very cool and interesting looking cocktails served to them. I was told it went through a refurb so was keen to see the new look. Hmm... As I entered the sliding glass doors with my mate, I was happy to see people downstairs with a proper coatcheck this time around. We ascended quickly and to my surprise, I found the main bar/dance area was exactly the same. Hmm... My friend wanted a drink but I said let's have a look around first at the other bars. INC has a raised bar/seating area above the main room. Another bar to the left rear and a small chillout/lounge opposite that. So, we went to the back bar and to my surprise (again) this room was virtually unchanged. New wall decor in the way of rock/pop singers and their records adorned the space. The furniture was evidently from Greenwich Market. I live locally and know the wares. Hmm... I started getting the feeling like I was having deja vu or some retro flashback to five years ago. Not a good thing. We got a drink and went across to the small lounge to enjoy the fireplace. I forgot to mention it was very cold throughout the building including this room with the only working fire. I did hear some people near the bar talking about turning the heating on because others were mentioning the chill factor. So, looking around the lounge area, again, nothing had changed and there was still a scratch in the wallpaper from five years ago that I noticed. Also one of the sofas had a mismatched seat cover. Now, this alone would have set me off to the door but we decided to have our watered down drinks and stay a while and see how the relaunch panned out. While in the lounge, 4 others came in and decided to make it THEIR private space. How you ask? Well, they moved the stools to surround the fireplace - despite the fact that my friend & I were still in there - so they'd have the warmth all to themselves. This also created a barrier preventing us from exiting the room because of how they arrange the furniture to suit THEIR needs. Coincidentally, a 'manager' popped his head in & I mused to my friend if he would tell them the room is for everyone and they're blocking the entrance. WELL, he didn't. His only comment to them was, 'Don't try to light anything in the fireplace like cigarettes or marshmallows' all while my friend and I remained trapped to the left of the room in plain view. We decided to leave...much to the annoyance the other patrons who then had to relocate the furniture again. We went back to the other bar opposite and chatted over the watered down drinks we had and I observed more TOWIE & Derek Branning wannabe's filling the place. As we listened to the music, I realised these were the same songs that I'd heard in here 5yrs ago - on a loop. YES, even the music was frozen in time! I'd had enough but my friend remained optimistic and said let's check out the main bar and dance area before we go. I obliged and we sang/danced to Madonna's, Into the Groove and a few other oldies. I drew the line at the Weather Girls and we both decided it was time to leave this time warp! I don't mind retro or even that deja vu feeling - if it's taking me back to something good but INC Bar's relaunch didn't even get off the pad for me. A £5 entry fee on a launch night without even a canape or welcome drink!! I'm hoping my review gets someone over there to sort this place pronto. I so want my Greenwich cocktail bar back.

The smell of fresh paint, with it's a lovely warm atmosphere, magnolia walls, dark wood, candles on each table and lots of cocktails to choose from makes it a great after work or pre-party venue. I got the cocktail which was the first on the menu and it was called Frothy Lady (I think). Very sweet and hardly tasted the alcohol. The espresso cocktail tasted great too but couldn't taste the alcohol. So it got me wondering if they were being stingy or were they just really good. The jalapeño pretzels were really nice and the olives had too much lemon on them for my liking but I was hungry so ate them all anyway. It's next to The Book Club and a short walk from Old Street so if you're around give it a try!
