This little gem is amazing. A cute little country store in front. A cafe in the back with pastries, bagel breakfast sandwiches and breakfast entrees . My companion and I had the French Bee which we decided should be named Almost Better Than Sex. Evidently the sauce changes week to week. During our visit it was a homemade raspberry sauce with white chocolate drizzle and was indeed exactly what we renamed it. The owner and staff are friendly, approachable. The owner/chef is a gem. She has a playful sense of humors bad boasted to other guests that we had renamed her menu item to other guests . If you're near White Haven be sure to stop in. You won't be disappointed. read more

This place is everything you want it to bee!! A fantastic new addition has come to the little town by the bank of the Lehigh river. The town of White Haven is very small, without a traffic light in sight. This beautiful old stone building has housed a few businesses over the many years, but nothing quite like this charming cafe & shop. Michelle is as well versed in stocking wonderful and original products from small businesses (many veteran and also female owned small businesses), as she is at making wonderful food in her café. I had the French bee, while my husband had the turkey club on a bagel. I also had a chocolate milk, which I highly recommend, it was a good size and excellent. The menu is on the smaller side, but it is such a great menu, that selecting what to try is still hard to do! I wanted 1 of everything! There's always next time, but I might have to order this again! Breakfast and lunch served all day. ENJOY and make sure you leave some time for shopping in the store... from small batch roasted coffees, to specialty teas, soaps, candles, pet products, jewelry, snacks, honey... so much good stuff under one roof! read more

Such a charming store and cafe with the sweetest ladies working! Shoutout Morgan, Michelle, and Carrie and their amazing service. Highly recommend the cannoli muffin and vanilla latte. They have a cutesy shop with so much fun stuff and a whole restaurant with a coffee bar! A must stop! read more

Wow , what a great place. We've only lived in White Haven for 3 weeks and this is the second time going to the Soapy Bee , and Michele didn't disappoint . I had the Maryland crab soup and a chicken salad on a croissant and it was amazing . When you first step into the store you are greeted by the aroma of home ,and then Michele welcomes you like you've known her for years. She does an amazing job on everything she serves and has homemade bread and bakery items to die for. The coffee is pretty special too...The ambiance is that of a small cafe in an out of the way place , pleasing and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit , my wife and I will definitely make this a weekly stop. read more

Was looking for a place to pickup breakfast while driving through. This place was perfect. Had an amazing sausage egg & cheese on an english muffin. Also enjoyed the blueberry scone. The owner and her daughter were super friendly. Will definitely be back if i'm ever in the area! read more
