But they made an appointment for that afternoon and then when they didn't show they acted like it was because other companies were coming out - which they knew when they made the appointment. Our experience landscaping our…read morenew yard started off great with their excellent design and prompt completion of the grading and planting . Then some of the new plants died. When they returned to add a fence and gate and fix some of the drainage not done properly with the initial work, Chris told us he'd replace the dead plants . When we received the invoice for the additional work, they charged us $275 for the new plants . I contacted Chris and he told me that he does not guarantee plants , and accused me of overwatering them . I told him that I did nothing of the sort. After arguing back and forth over the extra charge, we agreed to split the cost of the replacement plants and labor. My review is based on the fact that his company performed all of the soil prep and planting, and if there was a problem with drainage or plant suitability, they should stand behind their work. I can recommend Harrington landscaping for their quality of work, but be aware of their poor customer service history.
