Menu item: the Behalf 1/2 sandwich with house made salt & pepper chips.

Best sandwich shop around. Fresh sourdough made in-house. Friendly staff, management and ownership. I love their house made sourdough cookies- chocolate chip and snickerdoodle. Everything is so fresh. And the house made potato chips, fried in tallow... yummy and crunchy.

Had to come back to try a lunch sandwich and was not disappointed! For smaller appetites they can be shared or you can order the BEHALF and get half a sandwich + side (I'll do that next time). I got CHANDLERS CHOICE - turkey, provolone, thick cut bacon, spinach, onions & a delicious house-made ranch on top of their delicious sourdough bread. Perfection! Comes with a yummy ranch pickle. (Believe they added ham to mine by mistake but it was tasty so I didn't mind). We also got THE ORIGINAL - chicken, ham, cheddar, mayo, spinach, tomatoes, pickles on their amazing sourdough bread. Served with an oregano pickle, We split a side of PESTO PASTA SALAD - a small bowl of chilled pasta covered in a basil pesto with tomatoes, kalamata olives & feta. We ended up bringing home with half a sandwich because we were stuffed. We got a house-made sea-salt chocolate chip cookie to eat later because they looked too good just to leave there. They have different types of seating. Mostly 4 tops, a counter with bar seating and plenty of electric outlets, a big comfy couch with coffee table, a large dinner table, & a small outdoor patio. Inside has a couple of TVs. They also have a bookshelf with a few games and a small indoor corner area with some kids toys. You order at counter and they'll bring food to you. 3% Service charge for paying with card. Price on menu is cash price. I look forward to coming back to enjoy more of their food including some of their house made chips (they're made in beef tallow & have several seasoning flavors). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work Sour Boule staff!

I've now ordered from the sour boule a few times now, and can say I found my go-to bagel place! I've had their bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich, stuffed bagel, and the peach latte. I would definitely recommend the sandwich and the stuffed bagel. I love how the sandwich is customizable with many options. When ordering online, the meal is always ready on time and usually done before the set pick-up time. Inside, there are ample tables and chairs for people to sit at, and a spacious patio area too. I need to go back and try more items from their menu, so it gives me the perfect reason to keep going back!

Sour Boule just moved into the new space next door to their old location. The space is much larger with the kitchen disconnected from the front service area. I think they are still working out some operational kinks, but the coffee was good. Nothing crazy and a bit watery for the actual cold brew, but the foam brought the drink to the next level.

The Sour Boule is a must-try bakery and bistro located on the edge of Ridglea North with some decent local food on the old "traffic circle" joining Alta Mere, Southwest Blvd, Camp Bowie and Benbrook Blvd. anyone who's been around long enough will remember the recently closed Edelweiss near here. We came on a Saturday early afternoon and there was a line stretching out the door. The glass case is full of delicious-looking treats to try. Standout is the stuffed bagel which is sliced in a star-shape and appears to be bursting with cream cheese filling. A small amount of seating is available inside, a bit more in an enclosed patio outside. There's not much of a view outside, but inside the room felt cheerful and full of natural light. Most of the customers we saw were taking items to go. If I could take half a star it would be for having a single register rather than two which made the ordering process longer than it had to be. The menu offers many choices for coffee, tea, and espresso drinks. The Affogato looked particularly interesting and European, but I did not get to try it. A yummy listing of soups, sides, and sandwiches are offered as well. I that's not enough, the breakfast menu boasts sourdough waffles, sourdough breakfast sandwich, and the one of a kind Sour Elvis, among other things. We tried the stuffed Bagel and Dill Pickle Pasta Salad, both were excellent. The Bagel came with a sticker having heating instructions on it that worked perfectly.

1 word... BAGELS! Now, the list of why they are 5 STARS: 1. They are baked fresh everyday and you can tell! 2. They have the freshest chew, yet great crunchy crust. 3. Their taste is a beautiful sourdough-y tang that works splendidly with classic smear. And... I personally love how they only have three flavors to choose from Plain, Garlic Rosemary and Everything! It makes ordering very easy, especially if you have a group. Would you go back for BREAKFAST? YES, I went back two days in a row actually!

This is a cute little place to stop in and eat. When you walked in, you order at the counter, the lady was nice and we made our selection quickly. There are few bakery items, I would consider this more like a deli. We ordered the original and the one with cranberry, which were both delicious. We made our meals a combo, which includes chips and a drink. Their drink options are limited, sodas are in a can, which are Pepsi products, and tea. We were glad we were finally able to come by, and orders a load of sour dough to go. It's definitely worth stopping by if you are looking for a good sandwich.

A year later and the customer service is still friendly, atmosphere inviting and my order came out quickly. I ordered their chai tea (medium), sour dough chocolate chip cookie, sour dough snickerdoodle and their surprise mini loaf. The chai tea was piping hot and delicious once cooled a bit. The sour dough chocolate chip cookies was was delicious as I remember, the snickerdoodle cookie was crunchy and delicious. Their surprise mini loaf was flavorful albeit too salty but yummy by itself or with other food like soup.

Pickle acting as the sandwich bread. YUMMY!

This is a cute and small owned business. It's cozy with simple menu items that have a twist. From coffee drinks, sandwiches and soup. It's a good variety. They do breakfast and lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have toys for kids to play with. It's quaint and small inside. I wish they were closer to where I lived. I would definitely visit more. OMG the pickle sandwich is so cool. It was really good. You can get any sandwich on the menu on pickle bread. I really enjoyed it, but I love pickles. Pregnant women would probably love this. I'm already craving another one. I chose turkey, bacon and spinach. I appreciate the creativity. I also tried the One called Cranberry! This sandwich was so fun and made me think of Thanksgiving. It's turkey and cranberry. It was a nice surprise in my mouth and very scrumptious. All the components like sprouts worked well. They have unique cookie flavors. The sourdough chocolate chip was scrumptious. It was different, but I liked it. I'm sure the other flavors are good. All I can say is go check them out. I truly enjoyed my EXPERIENCE. I left happy and satisfied.

They immediately sat me and asked me what I wanted to drink. Then my very friendly waitress Luisa came and gave me the full run down on the menu. I decided to do the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and the broccoli and rice casserole. My favorite thing was the broccoli and rice casserole. It was so yummy and the corn bread was incredibly moist!! Everything was a 5/5. The service. The food. The ambiance. I will 100% be back if I come through the area and would highly recommend it!

Once we all arrived outside the restaurant, we were welcomed in by a very kind gentleman. After we were all seated, the sweetest server Olga quickly took our drink orders and returned for our food orders. It took a minute for everyone in our group to decide. This place was packed and booming. The majority of our group went with Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes, and numerous different sides. I had a side salad with ranch. It's was huge and I shared it with the GRANDdaughters. This place was serving both breakfast and lunch, and seems to have a great following with the locals. Olga took amazing care of us and was very attentive to all her tables. The food was a hit with everyone. Enormous plates full of food we definitely needed to-go boxes. Do not leave because the parking lot is full, there is plenty of ample parking with a waiting area inside. It's a long drive from Oklahoma, lol, but I hope to return soon. #FtWorthTexas #TarrantCounty

The space is cozy, which is a polite way of saying it is not built for large groups or people who like personal space. The wait can be substantial, and the indoor holding area is limited, if the weather is doing something dramatic, you'll want to know that before you commit. The real secret, which I discovered the hard way, is that you can join the waitlist online before you even leave the house. Life-changing information that arrived too late for us. Learn from my mistakes. Once seated, the coffee is hot, the iced tea is fresh, a surprisingly rare achievement at breakfast hours, and the menu has enough options to cause genuine decision paralysis. We ordered two Traditional Breakfasts, both over easy eggs, both crispy bacon. One arrived cooked to absolute perfection, eggs exactly as requested, bacon doing exactly what bacon is supposed to do. The other arrived with eggs cooked firmly over hard. Same table, same order, same server. How does this happen? It is one of breakfast's great unsolved mysteries. The breakfast potatoes, meanwhile, showed promise, well seasoned and flavorful, but arrived in a mixed state of doneness that required careful excavation to find the fully cooked ones. It was less of a side dish and more of an archaeological dig. The third order, the Tri-Fecta, came with a multigrain pancake the size of a small continent, which almost made up for the potato situation. And then there was the Million Dollar Bacon. We didn't order it. The table next to us did. I watched it arrive and I am still not over it. Order the Million Dollar Bacon. Do not make my mistake. Do not be me. First Watch is a solid breakfast spot with real upside, get on the waitlist before you leave home, order the bacon, and maybe double-check your eggs before your server walks away.
