Last week went for a massage with a Korean lady called Hana (Hannah) and the massage was so rough and hard she had no idea on how to read a customer. The massage was so hard that I was moving and jumping that she did not even ask if I was ok or if it was too hard so the massage could be adjusted. I complained to the reception and all they could do is appologise. Even the extra service she became tired and complained her arms where getting sore and in the end gave up and said time is up. Then here's the catch, don't pay by card, they slap on a 10% surcharge. I wanted my comlaint to be escalated and all they said was they are sorry and accept the feedback and Jacob the manager would return a call to me. To this day almost a week after no return call. The massage itself was so hard that I ended up with buising for days. Avoid this business, they do not care about customer service, and it appears it's about money more than professionlism.

I practice massage therapy for the last 9 years where I live in the States and I know how "spa massages" can be when you travel...not all that good and expensive. Not this place. It was reasonably priced and just what I needed. Firstly, they were able to get me in right away. I walked in and it was calming at a stressful time and a woman greeted me with a smile. The massage room was quiet and the therapist was amazing. I needed deep tissue and specific work done on my back....she found my spots that were tweaked out almost instantly. The massage seemed to be a combo of deep tissue with some table thai techniques....which was great!!!. She used warm towels during and at the end of the massage which were truly healing and soothing. As I was leaving, I was given a cup of fresh brewed ginger tea (my favorite). I didn't feel rushed out at all! I will be returning for one more massage for my back today. The waiting room is small with bright rainbow cushions against dull gray walls, so it feels more like a doctor's waiting room than a spa. The masseuse asked what focus areas I wanted for my $120 remedial massage, but she didn't focus on those spots and it felt more like a Swedish full body massage than anything. I've been fortunate to have several massages every year for the past 11 years, so I feel pretty well versed in the massage experience. When I asked as politely as possible if pressure could be increased, the masseuse paused and was silent for about 3-4 counts, then said she had been doing massages back to back all day so couldn't do it. Awkward. The rest of the massage felt like I was just being touched and going through a process rather than focusing on particular areas I came in for. I wondered several times throughout if I should just ask her to stop and leave, but I didn't want to get confrontational. I opted for the one hour normal Thai massage which was reasonably priced at $60. The only one thing I would have liked would have been a larger towel--there were a few times during the massage an appendage wasn't covered completely and I got a bit cold.
